I think the packaging on this nail polish is so cute because it has a silver top instead of the regular black one. I bought this because it looked like such a pretty, creamy and shiny red color- perfect for winter. However, this was a nightmare to apply. It applied very streaky on my nails, one coat wasn't opaque enough but 2 coats caused pooling on the sides. Also, I know that red polishes stain, but upon removal, this got all over my hands. It does look nice on my nails but just takes too long to get looking nice for me. I found it worse than my Revlon polishes, which are the cheapest nail polishes that I own.
Eye Shadow -Hard Candy - Kaleyedescope in High Maintenance

The colors in this duo are very pretty, but I don't think that they are anything particularly special or original. Also, I know that everyone has been saying that the shadows are very pigmented, but I found that I had to swipe my eyeshadow brush in the shadows a few times to get good color payoff. This may be because I just started using this product and it may become softer in the long run. The one major thing that I can't stand about these shadows is the smell. I know that they're baked so I'm assuming the smell is from that. I've never experienced any kind of smell from my other shadows by various brands (Mac, Stila, drugstore-Almay, CG), but whenever I open up the pan, the smell kind of just hits me and it is not something that I am fond of. However, I do think these shadows are a good buy because they will most likely last you forever and the price is so cheap.
Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Concealer [DISCONTINUED]

This is my favorite concealer that I have ever used. I wouldn't use it under my eyes because I feel that it would be too heavy for that area. I do use it to cover blemishes and some redness on my face. It's very creamy and applies/blends very well. The lightest shade suits me perfectly. I think the packaging/jar is very convenient. It is small enough to carry around with you if need be and the application does not leave it messy. I will continue to buy this when I run out.
I can't believe this mascara costs as much as it does. I purchased the Plum version because I have green eyes and thought it would be a nice change from my usual black. I also received a small sample of the regular, black version in a kit at a later time. This mascara is so dry and difficult to use. It's not even that it dried out quickly, it already comes in a dry formula It did nothing noticeable for my lashes- no length, volume or additional color worthy of mentioning and it looked as if I wasn't wearing mascara at all. I won't purchase this again especially because for the same money, there are much better mascaras out there. I love everything else I own by Benefit, but their mascaras are only good for people who like and can work with a very dry formulation.
I received this as a gift, I wouldn't have purchased this for myself. It reminds me of something that I used as a 12 year old. The polish has way too much glitter and is difficult to remove. The only perk is that it applies easily.
This mascara does not make me look like I have false eyelashes on at all. The formula is runny for me but when it dries, my lashes feel hard and brittle. They also seem to fall out more from this mascara than from any other. I would definitely not purchase this again and am disappointed that I bought it in the first place.
I have this in mango. I decided to try it because I've liked the Body Shop's products in the past, including their body butter. I have chapped lips from time to time, especially in the winter. This lip butter isn't moisturizing at all and I don't see any benefits from using it. I also dislike the packaging because I feel like sticking my finger in it to apply it makes it unhygienic. The only positives to this product is that it smells really good and that it's not sticky.
Treatments -Biore - Ultra Deep Cleansing pore strips

These made the skin on and around my nose really dry after use and didn't do much for my blackheads or pores. I really wanted to like this product because it's not too expensive, but unfortunately, it didn't do anything for me and made my skin even drier.
Shampoo -John Frieda - Sheer Blonde Highlighting Shampoo

I have dark-ish blond hair and was using this throughout the winter when my hair tends to become even darker. This didn't lighten my hair at all even though I used it repeatedly and used up the whole bottle. I dislike the entire John Frieda line, including his Frizz Ease products and will not be repurchasing again.
The good thing about this product is that you get a ton of powder in the tub, so it will last you a while, which is great because it's pretty expensive. I've used a bunch of different things for my stubborn blackheads and clogged pores including the Biore Pore Strips and the Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub, none of which have worked. The silver powder is really good! It's not difficult to remove at all and I noticed a difference right away with less visible blackheads and smoother skin. The only negative that I experience with this product is that it is somewhat drying, but if you moisturize immediately afterward, you won't have any problems.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
yxoxo 6/18/2010 3:49:00 PM
I bought this cleanser after hearing a few good things about it. I have sensitive skin with some redness. I absolutely hate this cleanser. It is really harsh for my skin, very drying, and I really dislike the scent. I used it for a few weeks and then stopped because it wasn't doing anything to help with acne/redness. I will definitely never repurchase this again.
