Mascara -Jafra - Volumizing Mascara
rated 1 of 5

I have it in Plum, I hate the formula! It doesn't volumize, it's clumpy and crumbles throughout the day and the little crumbles fall into my eyes! I like the color, but that is all. My favorite mascara is Jafra's Volumizing and Lenghtening Waterproof, the one that used to be betwin but now is in teh regular line. The others are crap in my opinion

Mascara -Jafra - BTWIN Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara

This is the best mascara that Jafra makes. I hate the other ones, and they are more expensive than this... or they were... I started buying it when it came in a purlple tube, then they changed the color to blue but the form factor was the same. Now the one I got comes in a white tube in the same style of the other mascaras of the brand with a blue ring around the cap. I think the formula has not changed, and if so, it's still working great. I have tried also de Volume Building and is crap... doesn't give any volume, doesn´t hold the curl, it too clumpy... :( But this one has evertything, volume, lenght (you can see the little fibers in the brush) and waterproof!

Eyeliner -Unlisted Brand - Hashmi - Kajal Stick - Black

This product is a great eyeliner and smudges less than the cream version. The packaging is awful, but it is so cheap... There are many people concerned about the lead content (myself a few hours ago), but there are serious studies that prove this product to be safe. That link corresponds to a serious paper released within a medical journal. Hashmi makes a powder eyeliner wich is 50% lead sulfide(the less poisonous form of lead), but the cream and stick presentations are made of amorphous carbon and are safe for health. A.D. Hardy, H.H. I bought this at an asian specialty store at a small city in Mexico. I paid the ridiculous ammount of 150 pesos (~11USD) about 3 years ago. I loved the product since then even though it was pricey for what it is. That was a scam, because I found a place in another city where the price is 14 pesos!!! (~1 dollar) and I felt stupid when I saw this... This product is great if you pay the proper price for it. The color is very dark, it really lasts on my waterline, doesn't irritate my eyes...it can smudge a little if it's a hot day... but nothing to worry about really. And, the tests the company did on bunnies shows that the dose to harm you is that big, than not even covering all your skin in eye liner you will be close to that amount. And also, you must have to eat it...poor bunnies... http://www.hashmisurma.com/reports_of_kohls_n_kajal.html The cons of this product: I don't think the application is higienic... unless you're going to clean the stick religiously every time. You never should share this product. The package is weak, mine broke after a month of use, and I didn't even carried it inside my purse...I had to make a quick fix with clear tape ¬¬ -------------EDIT-------------------------------- I've found another paper about this product, and was published in a medical journal. Hashmi makes a powder eyeliner that is 50% lead sulfide(the less poisonous form of lead), but the cream and stick presentations are made of amorphous carbon and are safe for health.( I'm so relieved now...) It's a great idea to have the smudger handy. I really like it because I apply makeup traveling by bus or metro... BUT, the formula is horrible. It is very soft, and at the beggining you think it has a nice dark color, but, if you try to smudge it... It just dissapears and becomes uneven on your skin. If you skip smudging it...it will dissapear within the next two hours... I actually use it this way: apply generously on lid, smudge a little bit along the lash line, apply black eyeshadow to seal it. This makes it wearable... but I was really expecting more from this product. Sealing with eyeshadow is a MUST for this liner... :( I never use it for waterline, because that is just a waste of time...It won't last more than 5 minutes on!

Eye Primer -Coastal Scents - Shadow Worx Matte Eyeshadow Primer
rated 4 of 5
yuyu122 1/31/2011 7:43:00 PM

It works, but I can notice some creasing after 10 hours. It doesn't last MY whole day... This is the second primer I have ever used. I tried Mary Kay Eye Primer, and for me it worked better than shadow worx. The MK one made my eyeshadow last more than a day. I realized that when I was in a party the whole night and the day after I still had the ES perfect with some minor creasing that I just smudged out. Maybe that was because the wheater was colder then, and now it's being hotter... but... still I won't buy again, because MK works better for me...

This is the best bronzey color I have ever used. It is great for the crease, and I can use it with almost every color because it's neutral. LOVE IT

The color are too shimmery and sheen. I can't figure out how can they be used together... I usually use them separately because togheter it would be too much shimmer. This is not my favorite duo...

The shade is beautiful... but you have to use a lot of product to get the color to show. It is poorly pigmented. Loved other ES from MK, but I hated this.

Eye Shadow -Mary Kay - Eyeshadow in Onyx
rated 5 of 5
yuyu122 1/19/2011 4:11:00 PM

I love the eyeshadows in small packages beacuse they are easy to store. I rarely carrry compacts in my purse (backpack to be more precise) because I do my makeup at home. I have a compact, but I just use it fopr travels. This duo is great for smokey eye. You need to layer it to get enough color. I just hate that MK changed the format opf ther ES and now I won't boy again because their new format is stupiod if you don't have the proper compact
