Blush -Rock & Republic - Contrived Blush - All Nighter

This is so crazily pigmented, I can use this for anything. Put it on my eyes as eyeshadow, or even on my lip, it looks beautiful anywhere. It's not powdery at all, as any R&R blushes are. Moreover, it's very long lasting for me. I purchased another two of their blushes after receving this blush and bedroom. IT'S TOO GOOD TO PASS BY! It looks really orange in the pan, but actually on your cheek, with the right amount of application, it doesn't look like the crazy orange, but rather kind of pink with an orange-peach tint. Very wearable, athought, watch the hand. It can be very easily overapplied, so it's a little annoying sometimes when that happens.... which is frequently even if I lightly dab the pan once. With the amount that it comes with (2x a Nars blush), I dont think I will need a repurchase in this lifetime, but this is a good blush if you want a nice shimmer orange one in your collection. (It's a plus if you have dark skin tone.)

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design - Lezard
rated 5 of 5

I got this as a GWP a very long time ago, and the eyeshadows have not degraded in quality. Honestly, this is my go-to palette for every day and everything. I'm about a NC30~35. I love love love the flesh toned pink that really give a nice shine and nice complementary with other shades. The yellow is great for inner corner. And oh the browns! They have to be my favorite thing about this quad. The darker brown is very pigmented and sort of give off an umph and a warm chocolate-burgundy feel. If you're looking for something dramatically pigmented, other than lezard, the rest probably won't be that great, but for an every day kind of look, this palette has moderate pigmentation that really suffice its job. Honestly, I think the swatch for lezard above is kind of unfair. It is actually very much more pigmented in real life, for me anyway.

Powder -Lancome - Oscillation Powerfoundation
rated 2 of 5

I think the number one problem I have with this product is how cakey it is my skin as a finishing powder. On its own, I don't feel like it's suitable or stick to my dry skin as well, so I passed it over to my sister after a few usage because I didn't think it fits my personal preferences. My sister who has oily skin, says it works alright for her on its own. Topping it on top of a liquid foundation layer, it is pretty caky on any skin type. The spongy thing that it comes with is absolutely useless and does not apply well. I would recommend using a brush. One good thing about it is that it takes forever to be used up, so you do pay for a good amount. Overall, definitely not a repurchase.

Cleansers -Lancome - Creme Radiance
rated 3 of 5

At first impression, I didn't really like this product very much because I didn't think it did much cleansing my skin other than leaving my skin rather squeaky. However, after a venture on other cleansing products, I returned to this product again, and find it quite delightful. It's very creamy when you apply it on your face with some warm water. I think this is my favorite part of the ride with this cleanser. I can create a creamy white mask with a tiny bit of this cleanser. It did a better job of cleansing off my make-up than my other cleanser, which I would have to go through a toner step to clean up any extra left-over make-up. So this is actually a inbetween of a 3 to 4 for me. I think it does it job, and goes a long with a small amount that eventually foam up; so in that aspect, it's my favorite cleanser so far that remove makeup quite proficiently. Not sure if I want to repurchase because of my dry skin since this cleanser leaves it too squeaky clean, almost kind of dry afterward. If you have oily skin or combo, I think it's worth a try, and it's truly not expensive if you moderate the dosage of your usage.

Eyeliner -Lancome - Le Crayon Kohl
rated 2 of 5

I got a full size of this in black/coffee, and at first, I liked it because it was creamy and applied very well. However, at the end of the day, all of the product that was applied in my upper lashline (not even on my waterline) was pretty much transfered down to my undereye. In other words, this smudges me into a raccoon. Lasting power, I didn't paid much attention to the exact time, but it generally falls into the pile of never-again for me. Maybe for a quick photoshoot, but for an all day wear, it can do a lot better.

Concealers -Lancome - Effacernes
rated 3 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:47:00 PM

I was really excited when I purchase this product as my undereye concealer, but I don't know if I got a shade too light that it doesn't do anything to conceal my dark circle, well maybe a little, but not as good as an underye concealer could be in my experience. I have dry skin, and without extensive eye cream underneath, it's kinda blotchy and "enhance" my pores than normal, which is my personal disappointment. On the waterproof note, it is definitely waterproof. I attempted to wash my face with a non-make-up-removal cleanser, and it's still there. As a concealer for blemishes, around the nose, and dark areas, it works great. A tiny amount goes a long way, and I don't see how I can finish a whole tube if I can't use this as an undereye thing. :|

Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
rated 5 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:40:00 PM

I received this product repeatedly as a gift with purchase, so I never had to purchase it (kinda pricy on its own). Nevertheless, I am considering purchasing this product once I ran out of my gwp bottle. Removing makeup: I've tried other make-up remover, and all of them sort of loosen the make-up, but this one actually REMOVE the make-up if you let your cotton pad sit on your make up for a few second before gently wipe it off. Waterproof mascara, gel eyeliner, glitter eyeshadows, all gone. Not to be repetitive, but one thing that bother me about this product is the price on its own. TT___TT I try to use it sparingly, but I still finish it pretty quickly.... All in all, this is my HG make-up remover, and I'm never going back to DIY makeup remover or the neutrogena one. I think the clinique one kind of works as well as this product, if you you're looking for an alternative.

Moisturizers -Korres - Wild Rose 24-Hour Cream
rated 5 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:31:00 PM

I have dry skin, and this works like a charm. I fell in love with Korres after purchasing their Wild Rose set. This being one of the product in the set is quite a good buy! Pros- Not very expensive if purchased with the Wild Rose set. Does its job. Very creamy. I love the smell! Brighten my skin - although I'm not sure if this is the moisterizer or the wild rose brightening mask/and the serum that came with the set. Cons- One thing I dont like about this moisterizer is that after I clean my face, I notice that I can rub some residue off... although that doesn't really harm my skin or have caused any breakout. Kind of sticky, absorbed kinda slow.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter - Wild Rose
rated 5 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:26:00 PM

I used to have very chapped lips, and lipstick, even lancome ones, peels my lips easily. I also tried the soft lips and EOS lipbalm prior to this purchase, but it still eh. Then, finally, my sister gave this lipbalm to me, and my life is pretty complete, lip-balm wise. Wild-rose on my lips have a very soft tint of red. I am a college student, so therefore, I don't really want to wear too much lip product, but I do want some color and moisture on my dry and pale lips for going to class. This product answers both of those problems. Therefore, it's definitely a HG product for me. The color is definitely buildable, and it's very pretty if you try to do the korean-style gradient lip kind of thing. It makes things look very natural as if you just bite a gorgeous berry. I applied this product with full force at first, meaning a few layers spreading all over my lips, and it was a pretty intense color. One sheer layer would probably suffice for the color, but it's not very moisterize to my liking with just one layer, so alternative choice like pomeranage might be more of an every-day color. Lasting power as the lipbalm works about 5-6 hours before I feel a little dry and want to reapply. Color wise, lasting power is not that long, especially if you eat and stuff. All in all, it fulfilled it job as a lipbalm, with a short period of tinted-ness. Definitely a repurchase. Well, maybe the one in the tube.

Treatments -Korres - Wild Rose Brightening Serum
rated 5 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:13:00 PM

If you're looking for a brightening serum, this certainly does the job. I have dry skin, and it works like a charm for nightly routine practice. It absorbs quicky and works great under my moisterizer. I don't think it can multi-task as a moisterizer as well, but it might be the case for my really dry skin. I bought this with the wild rose set too, and I didn't expect to like this product. It just happened to be in the set, but I am quite happy with my purchase and will repurchase probably.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Mango Lip Butter
rated 4 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 11:07:00 PM

I have purchased wild rose and mango. Out of the two, wild rose has to be my ultimate favorite over the mango even if the coral color of mango is more wearable and matching with my asian skin tone. It has a great smell at first, but I feel like it's not as "natural" the more I smell it. The color doesn't last that long, which is kind of a disappointment, but it does keep my lips moist and very soooofffttt after. I don't quite like dipping my finger in pot and things, so that was a little annoying to dip my finger in the pot to apply the product, but I can't complain since they did come out with the lip glaze, or lip butter in a tube.

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash
rated 4 of 5
yungahhh 1/30/2011 8:33:00 PM

At the first impression, badgal gave me lashes I never knew I had (oh the lengthening!) , and I love her for sure, over the Lancome Defincil and Clinique's piece of crap. After a while, I notice she doesn't hold my lashes for very long. I think every formula reacts with everyone differently, so maybe it's just me, applying wayyy too much of my love or badgal is running a little dry. I personally don't have a smudge problem with this mascara, but every time I gently take off my make-up, I feel like I'm also taking a fragile lash or two. In other words, conditioning is not badgal's specialties at all, which is my only real disappointment with this mascara. For me, badgal is that awesome new friend who gets a little eh after a while after seeing a flaw here and there, but I will probably give another hyped mascara a wink before I return to badgal at another purchase.
