It smells so yummy, just like freshly peeled tangerines. Too bad it doesn't last as long. The price is $14 which is good, if compared to other EDTs on the market. The scent isn't cheap and plasticky in any way, but nor is it sophisticated. I think it's perfect for summer. Like the first reviewer mentioned, can be mixed with mango edt and the mix will remind you of very fruity bubble gum.
Treatments -The Body Shop - Peppermint Cooling Foot Rescue Treatment

Apply it on clean feet before going to bed every night and you will have baby soft feet next morning. It's that good! The peppermint aldo cools your feet, making you feel refreshed. Simply great product.
Little background of my skin: uneven skin tone due to acne and post acne marks, oily but dehydrated which is a huge issue for me. Therefore I need lots of coverage and using liquid foundation on its own doesn't help me, but using most pressed powders on top of a foundation emphasize my flaky dry skin. So far, TBS all in one face base is the only pressed powder that gave me the desired finish. I apply it with a fluffy powder brush to set my foundation, and it makes my skin look flawless, doesn't make it look more dry, but still looks matte. And it doesn't break me out! Thanks, The Body Shop!
Shampoo -John Frieda - Root Awakening Nourishing Moisture Shampoo

Great Shampoo, smells amazing, is it mint or something in it that makes it so refreshing, after a week of use my hair is super silky and doesn't tangle as much as it used to. This shampoo with matching conditioner adds so much shine, too! It is quite expensive when you buy both shampoo and conditioner, it can come up to $21, so best time to buy it is when it's on sale in Safeway for about $7-$8. Packaging is great, allows you to take every drop of the product out. So yeah, try it!
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lavender Essential Oil

I use it undiluted, 3-4 drops and apply it with my fingers to acne spots (which is basically all over my face:(). It works faster and better than Tea Tree Oil, calms down active pimples overnight and I've been using it for one week and noticed how my post-acne dark spots are slowly fading. HOWEVER, the smell is SO STRONG, even tea tree oil doesn't seem so strong. The smell makes my eyes sting even though I don't apply it anywhere near my eyes. But I am such a tired acne sufferer, I don't care, as long as it works.
Conditioner -The Body Shop - Banana Nourishing Conditioner

My hair has never been so soft. For the $6 price tag, this conditioner does wonderful job! can't ask for more. The scent is delicious, and I will repeat, my hair has never ever been so soft, and I've used plenty of different hair products!
After hundreds of dollars spent on acne battle, I've decided to go cheap and simple and don't regret it. Lemon juice is now a part of my daily skin routine. I just cut a lemon in 3 parts, squeeze the juice from one part, dab a cotton pad in it and use it as a toner. I leave it on my face for the night and in the morning I apply it again and just wash it off before putting on my make up. I've been doing this for one week right now, and I've noticed significant difference. My post acne marks and scarring are not that dark anymore, my skin tone overall seems to become more bright and healthy. And I don't know if its the lemon's job, but I don't get that many breakouts, and the fresh pimples heal much faster. It stings so bad, but I got used to it, as long as I see the results, I don't mind. It might be too harsh for others, but my face has been through so much, it doesn't care anymore. I'm just so happy I've tried this, I will stick to lemons for a while now!
I fell in love with it at first because of its perfect color match and the texture (really feels naked and super light). So I went and bought it in shade 4.0 It seemed to give me enough coverage to keep my face looking fresh and more or less evened out and healthy without being cakey and showing off those nasty dry patches. Unfortunately, it just doesn't last long enough on my face. I tried setting it with a powder and using a primer at the same time. Still, maximum stay was about 4 hours and after that it just faded away, leaving me with uncovered post acne dark spots and uneven looking skin tone. So, I am thinking it would be good for dryer skin types without major skin issues like acne scaring.
Lotions/ Creams -Bliss Labs - Lemon & Sage Body Butter

It feels so good on the skin, it has luxurious texture and absorbs very fast, but what I love the most is the smell. So refreshing and clean and not synthetic. It's just something you want to be smelling all day. I like the value size bottle with a pump, it would look so good in my bathroom. "sigh" Regarding the price, I still think that 35$ for a 6OZ bottle of a body moisturizer is a bit expensive. If you think, there are many other good smelling/ no paraben products out there for cheaper.
I simply cannot wear lipsticks and lip glosses because of the white cast that tends to appear on my lips after about an hour of applying it. That is why I love the whole idea of the lip tint. It gives the color without putting weight on your lips. TBS did a good job, it's a decent lip tint, the color lasts long, even after drinking and eating, it's also easy to apply. However, I took one lippie off because the color is just to pink for my taste and doesn't match with my skin tone. I gave it to my friend and it worked very well on her, it made her lips look plump and fresh. Just wish there would be more colors available.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter Duo in Macadamia

I am not a big fan of TBS body butters, because most of them usually don't seem to work on me, they leave my skin feeling greasy and gluey and don't absorb that well. I bought this one just because I fell in love with the smell. It is very warm, comforting scent and it grows on your skin when you apply it. I also love that the butter, surprisingly, doesn't feel sticky on my skin. It moisturizes quite well and I just feel so good and pampered when I put this on after shower. I wish TBS continues to launch more products with Macadamia scents.
I finally bought it! It retails for 14$ in Canada and I find it is decent price for such a great product. It beats most of the high end serums I've tried before. The smell is very nice it makes me want to reapply this every time I go into my bathroom. However, what is most important - I love how it makes my long hair look so soft, healthy and shiny and it also defines my layers. I'm so happy with this product. Definitely will be repurchasing and recommend to my friends!
I was looking for a medium-full coverage foundation for my acne prone skin and the SA at the Bay gave me a sample of this. At first when I applied it, I liked the coverage. Within about 3 hours of wearing this, my face started to get very oily (which usually doesn't happen, I have dry to combo skin in winter, and that was February) , it seemed like this foundation was melting on my skin, showed my pores really bad and made me shine like a frying pan! It didn't work for me. I suggest that you first get a sample before buying it full-size.
Skincare - Face -Ole Henriksen - Sheer Transformation Creme

So I got this for my beauty insider points during one event at Sephora. It states that it would get you rid of acne spots and scarring, age spots, sun damage. I've been using it for 2 months so far and I don't see any improvements in my acne spots. It does a very good job as a moisturizer though. It doesn't clog your pores, helps to moisturize, leaves your skin feeling fresh. I would give it a 5 stars if it did what it said: brighten my acne spots. Nevertheless, I will continue using it in summer though, because it's light and doesn't break me out.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
yummizu 3/13/2012 11:25:00 PM
Since I live in Calgary, my skin tends to change from oily in summer to extremely dry and flaky in winter. I was looking for something that wouldn't give me breakouts but still moisturize and eliminate those nasty flaky patches around my nose and lips. Unfortunately, this product didn't do it. I would still say it's a great moisturizer for those with normal to combination skin. It is very smooth, your skin is left soft and silky after applying it. It doesn't break you out. It's very light and perfect for summer.
