Lips -Sephora - Cream Lip Stain- all shades

The pigment is off the charts, this is not a stain so much as a liquid creme finish, opaque lipstick, with longwearing finish. Very nice flexible doefoot applicator in a slim pocketfriendly tube. I have both Always Red (matte classic red) and Strawberry Kissed (bright matte pinky red) and they are both very bold lipsticks with serious staying power. No feathering, no sneaking into fine lines around the lips, but slightly drying and a lipstick that definitely needs to be used over conditioned or otherwise well moisturized lips. The application and pigment strength has led to me using this "stain" as a face paint for Halloween, and that worked out wonderfully. It may take novice users practice to apply the product with a steady hand and errors in application can be a pain in the neck to clean up because of the formula.

Primer/ Corrector -Boscia - Skin Perfecting Primer

Great tube for easy application and not dispensing too much product. A little goes a long way, and while it is not as smoothing and stable as some of the non-natural primers on the market, it is the best primer I have tried that is marketed as natural or eco-friendly. I have very sensitive skin but no irritation or break-outs from the product, no stinging around the eyes are reported by other reviews, wondering if it does not play nice with other products like moisturizers or something in those cases.

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

This wears like really cheap drugstore foundation on me, guessing that my body chemistry just does not work for it at all. Dry skin, wear Shade #2 in this, RF: 133 in Illamasqua. It looks okay, natural matte, from a distance but up close at conversational level it is a hot mess. Have tried application over various primers, with a sponge, fingers, brush, etc, and it just does not wear well. Cannot recommend this product at all.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase paste

Really dark even for it's Light shade, weird undertone (fleshy, pink, peach, grey, hard to place, just looks terrible on me and I am pretty neutrally toned), creasey, greasy and slippery even on bone-dry skin. Really wanted to give it a chance but it is just not a good concealer especially for its price point. Would expect the level of quality from lower end drugstore brands, not from something with this kind of price tag. At least it isn't glittery? At least it doesn't smell like granny perfume like so many other Benefit products? Tried sponge, brush and finger application over and under primers and foundations and just found this product to be unusable.

Lipstick -Illamasqua - Blaze

Surprisingly wearable color for some skin tones. I am really enjoying the creamy matte texture and have experimented with different liners and glosses for different effects. Kinda surprised at how such a pop color can be so versatile. If you're going to invest in an orange lipstick this summer go for Blaze. It is on trend, high pigment, high quality and plays nicely with the Buxom line for glosses and lining/layering with their lipsticks.
