Moisturizers -Jamieson - Vitamin A Night Renewal Treatment

Love this baby. I use this as a night cream only because it's so thick, and it's very moisturizing. My skin always looks fresh in the morning. I haven't noticed any wrinkle reduction, maybe because I'm only 24. On the other hand, last week a teenage guy (18 yr) thought I was his peer.. So I guess I'm definitely not aging thus far.. :) I apply this after I spray my face with Avene Eau Thermale, and seal in the moisture with this cream. Works like a dream! FYI - I've been using this for about three years now. I've tried this one and the no name brand, and this one has a better texture. Though the idea is the same ,and neither made me break out.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Vanilla Coconut Passion
yourphatness 2/12/2013 5:44:00 PM
I'm on my the remains of my third bottle. I just can't get enough of the heavenly smell. It's sweet, without being sickly.. It has my favourite vanilla note, which I think is the main note, since I can hardly notice the coconut. I have another coconut body cream from a brand I can't recall right now, but THAT smells like coconut while this doesn't come close. If you want a light, feminine, luxurious lotion than this is it! My skin feels smooth and soft, and smells DELICIOUS. Oh, and it lasts all day, without being overpowering.
Liquid -Bourjois - Flower Perfection Youth Extension Foundation

I've been using Healthy Mix in 51 in the winter, and 52 in the summer. The only problem I had was getting shiny throughout the day (which happens regardless which product I use). I decided to try this in 51. It's quite drying, and by the end of the day I noticed that I looked older, and my skin looked dry and flaky (though flakes are rare for me after I switched to Bioderma skin care). The coverage is medium and buildable- I almost always forget to use concealer because this covers flaws so well. I also like the fact that it has SPF 10. After testing this out for a week and looking increasingly worse, I knew I couldn't use this foundation alone. I started mixing it with Healthy Mix. Now I have better coverage and better oil control.
I've gone through numerous bottles of this, and have worn it for over 6 years. This is the one fragrance that feels completely natural on me, and even though I change it up once in a while, I continue to go back to this. I also always receive compliments when I wear this, which doesn't happen with anything else except for Jean Paul Gaultier's Madame (much heavier, and completely different). I love how elegant and timeless it is while still being completely contemporary and most importantly it's fresh! Don't get it though... I don't want it to become popular!! :)
I had super dehydrated skin due to the use of acne.org products. It was flaky and uncomfortable. I searched for a good moisturizer for months and my search is over. I'm about to finish my second bottle, and it's fantastic. It actually moisturizes and doesn't clog pores at all! I've since switched to the Bioderma H2O cleansing water as well, instead of the acne.org cleanser and my skin is now 100% clear AND comfortable. No more flakes! I also like that it's in a pump. My routine: Morning- Cleanse with Bioderma h2o, wash off (some people don't wash it off) Acne.org's BP Bioderma's Hydrabio moisurizer Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation Night- Cleanse with Bioderma h2o Tone with PC's 2% BHA for acne prone skin Acne.org's BP Bioderma's Hydrabio, then Jamieson's Vitamin A Night Cream After the BP dries, I wet my hands a little bit, a pat a little bit of water onto my face AND then I apply the moisturizer. This helps the skin retain more moisture! UPDATE: I'm now on my fourth bottle, and I am still loving it! Clear and comfortable skin!! :)
Tinted Moisturizer -Avene - Avene High Protection Tinted Compact SPF 50

I used this when I went to Egypt, with 45-55 degree Celsius heat. I went with a white face and white body, and came back with a bronze body and white face. This stuff is a very effective sunblock, and it gave me some colour, so I didn't appear so ghost like. I personally like this sunscreen, it didn't clog my pores.. but it did leave my face greasy, so I had to blot. I also powder over it, to keep the shine down.
Top/Base Coats -Unlisted Brand - INM -- Northern Lights - Hologram Top Coat
yourphatness 3/30/2011 3:43:00 PM
This is my absolute fave top coat. It's subtle, yet adds an extra something to any plain old nail polish. I even put this over a simple french manicure, and get complimented on how shiny my nails appear. They even get noticed from afar, but in a GOOD way.. don't worry, this is not tacky in the least! I was worried it would be.. but like I said, this is my absolute fave top coat. Great!!! HG. It also come soff very easily, unlike the typical glittery nail polishes.
This is a good mascara. It lengthens, separates well. Gives a little volume too, and looks kinda natural. BUT I still prefer the orange lash blast from cover girl. That one gives waaaay more volume, and looks more dramatic.
Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F80 flat top synthetic kabuki
yourphatness 3/28/2011 9:39:00 AM
Great brush for applying liquid foundation, except that I think it's just slightly too dense.. and feels a little too hard on the skin. Like it REALLY buffs the product in, without any streaks or anything. UPDATE: I must have been out of mind to give this anything less than perfect! Since My last review I have used this brush NON STOP, that is every day! Nothing applies foundation more seamlessly and more flawlessly. I've used other synthetic brushes (streaky), fingers (uneven), sponges (absorbs a lot of product). I am able to apply foundation quickly, blend perfectly, and using less product. A must in any makeup kit.
Makeup Brushes -Sigma - Pencil brush E30 (previously called SS219 )
yourphatness 3/9/2011 9:45:00 AM
This brush is precise enough, but I like that it isn't hard or rough. My Lise Watier pencil brush seems to poke my eye, but this one feels pretty nice. It picks up colour well, blends well, and overall is a fine brush. I find myself reaching for this when I'm doing crease work. This is an excellent product, especially considering how cheap it is. I'm sick of hearing everyone comparing this to MAC. Sigma is NOT MAC, I GET IT.
I bought this in Dubonnet, a cool toned medium pink colour without any sparkle. I have very light skin and this is neither too light nor too dark. It gives me a very natural flush that I was searching for. The best part is that this product doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin. It blends easily. I use a duo fibre brush because it picks up a small amount of product, and that's all I need. Lovely blush, and I'd like to purchase it in a tan colour as well to use as a bronzer. Despite the 32$ CAN price tag, I will repurchase because this is the only blush that has fully agreed with my skin. UPDATE: I ran out of this, used it until the very last bit. I then ordered another, as well as the colour Bronzer. I now use both together. They work perfectly to sculpt my cheeks, I love them. Can't imagine my face without them.. :)
Treatments -Joico - k-pak deep penetrating reconstructor
yourphatness 3/5/2011 11:40:00 PM
This product is better than I even expected! I only use it about once a week, and I rinse my hair with apple cider vinegar beforehand to get rid of any build up. My dull, horrendous ends were never ever shiny, and they now ARE! My hair feels lighter, healthier, and looks soo much nicer! I'm very happy with this product line, I also use the k-pak daily conditioner, daily leave-in, and have used the k-pak shampoo and intense hydrator. All fine products! I highly recommend this stuff for dry, damaged hair. For reference, I have long, wavy, fine blonde hair. I dyed it to a dark blonde about 3 months ago, but the color has almost fully washed out back to my original blonde. However this totally made my hair dull and dry in the process even though it was professionally done! I'm never dying my hair again! Anyway, Joico has really saved my hair!
I've gone through two of these, about to buy my third. I only use this wet, and as an eyeliner because I hate pencil eyeliners. I literally don't even look at any other eyeliners, because I am completely satisfied with this. I use a wet angle brush (MAC 263) to apply, and it lasts the whole day without exception. I love it. HG HG HG.
Oooh ahhhhhh. I am in LOVE. I've had this color in my mac palette for quite some time, but it looked too intimidating to use on my pale face. I feared that if I wore this, I'd look like I got punched. I generally wear really subtle makeup, and this color didn't look that subtle in the pan. It is a dark bronzy brown.. difficult to describe. Once I started using it in my crease, it quickly became my favourite! It just adds life to my pale complexion, and doesn't look insanely dark. It's gorgeous with blue eyes (but I'm sure it would look great on anybody)! It blends easily. I wear it with vex, and nude beach from BE. This is definitely in my top 5 fave MAC shadows!
I love this product. My light hair was severely damaged after i dyed it a bit darker. Fortunately the dark has almost completely washed out, but it left my hair in the worst condition ever. That plus my curler addiction... It started tangling more, and it lost it's shine. This product is really awesome! My hair feels sooooo much better, it's like night and day!. I saw a difference after the first time. What's crazy is that even my ends, my SEVERELY DULL ends are shinier!
