Nails -Unlisted Brand - Red Carpet Manicure System

I love this. I got the Pro kit for Christmas and I applied it the first time flawlessly. After about 1.5 weeks it does start to lift a bit at the cuticles and then I start to pick at it, and make a mess of it all. But I love it anyway. I wasn't getting my nails professionally done, but always liked the look of the gels, and my friends are very impressed with my results! My biggest con is that I wish I could use ALL of the regular nail polishes that I have. I prefer the look of the gel over my regular nail polishes, but hate to turn my back on my huge selection of regular nail polishes! I think $10 for a bottle of polish is a little steep, given it is a real small bottle. And given that I'd like more selection of colors...but I guess my selection will slowly grow!
Would I buy this product again??? ABSOLUTELY!!!! I love how it makes my hair look and feel. So shiney and silky! I use it mainly on my hair when it is soaking wet (before putting a towel on my head). And then sometimes I add some to my hair after it is dry and styled, but this doesn't seem to make much difference! I bought this on a whim. I was wanting to get some sort of glaze or gloss to compare to the free treatment my stylist offered several months ago. I think this is very comparable to what she did...although this only lasts until your next washing. Which is fine. The tube is small, but you don't use very much at all, so it'll last awhile. It has a coconut/tropical smell which is fine by me, I don't noticed that it lasts all day.... But I definitely recommend this, for silky, shiney hair!!!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Gold Bond - Triple Action Relief Foot Cream

My daughter got some sort of foot fungus from a week long school trip in D.C. They walked around with soaking wet shoes all day. So initially I bought the Gold Bond Medicated Powder, but then thought maybe she needed the lotion. Well the combo of the powder and the lotion cured my daughter's feet from the appearance of something like trench foot....peeling, shedding skin, yet her feet weren't dry. It was just gross! Anyway, I noticed that Urea was in the foot cream, and know that is an important ingredient to look for when wanting to heal your heels. So I started using it, and I love it! I wouldn't say it is better than Flexitol (or the Walgreens name brand of Flexitol), but I'd say it is just as good. My feet are so much smoother! No cracked, dry heels! I'd definitely recommend this, just as much as I'd recommend Flexitol.
I am not a big purchaser of nail polish. And I hate waiting for nail polish to dry. But this is my HG of nail polishes. It lasts a long time, holds its shine, and dries quickly! I have bought in the past and will buy again in the future!
I have never been one to wear much eye makeup. Mascara and eyeliner was the extent of it. But since I was ordering some other stuff from Everyday Minerals, I thought I'd give this a try with Samba (what one of their models was wearing). And I'm pleasantly surprised. I have always bought cheap eyeshadow from the store, and it never went on very well....this goes on so smoothly...almost a silky feeling. And like others said, it really does go with anything. I will definitely buy this again, and want to branch out now and start trying other colors too!
I bought this after receiving a recommendation from MUA to try it. I am a drug-store mascara gal....but was sick and tired of the flaking and clumping.... I just wanted something to go on and stay on and not look gunky. And this is it. I am sure there are better department store mascaras, but I just can't bring myself to pay those prices, and I'm afraid I'd really get hooked. I've tried this is regular and waterproof and I like them both.
Treatments (Eye) -Shi Kai - Borage Dry Skin Therapy Eye Cream

I live in Dry Colorado and as my age number goes up I'm going to have to start dealing with dryness. Well this was my 1st winter to ever experience severe dryness around my eyes. My eyelids were stinging because of the dryness...I had to try something. I bought this at Wild Oats - a health food store because it was on sale. It says to apply day and night, but I can't apply during the day, it is to emolliant to be able to also wear eye makeup. But I did attempt it the 1st few days and I think I needed that jump start of wearing it twice a day. Now I just wear it every evening. The dry, painful, flaky, and even rashy crap is gone! My eye area now seems just like it used to be! I will definitely buy this again, assuming that as I age the dryness won't become more severe, but this might work for that too....I hope so, it was an affordable cure!
Like the matching shampoo, my biggest complaint is the price. I think it is over priced....but maybe I'm cheap! But I will buy this again. It makes my hair so soft, and it feels so good tingling on my scalp. I think it does add a bit of shine to my hair too. It doesn't strip hair color, which was the reason I bought it. I was using (and loving) Sunsilk Thermashine shampoo/condtioner/leave-in but I wasn't sure that it wouldn't hurt my hair color...so I decided I'd better open the wallet and buy something that at least my salon would say was safe for my colored hair....in case the color should have faded. I don't need to use very much of this, so it will last awhile....it doesn't rinse super easy, but feels so silky as it rinses out of my hair....ah....off to go run my fingers through my hair! :)
This is more money than I normally like to spend on shampoo. But my hairstylist had been using it on my hair, so I thought I'd give it a try. I do like how it smells...kind of organic-like. It lathers nicely and leaves my hair fairly soft....but when I bought the matching conditioner a few months later, it was the combo of both products that made me really like this line. Biggest complaint is the price...but I will buy again, because I have felt a noticeable difference in my hair...which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of other shampoos.
Like others, I got a sample of this in the trio, and have found that all 3 products together work awesome. When I use the shampoo/conditioner and leave in spray my hair is so incredibly soft and silky...I love it. This is a sample that I actually loved, and went out and bought full size bottles of all 3....and when those run out, I'll go buy MORE! Love it! But I feel to get the full effect it is the combo of all 3 products that leaves my hair feeling GREAT!
I can't believe how much I love this whole product line, and I think it works best if you use the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner spray. When I use all three I absolutely can't stop playing with my hair because it feels so silky! LOVE it! So I don't know that I love the conditioner so much but all 3 of the products together are heavenly!
Hair -Sunsilk - ThermaShine Detangling Shine Spray

Love this spray. My hair is soooo incredibly soft when I use it, but it really seems to work best in conjunction with the matching shampoo and conditioners. I seriously have never used a product that left my hair so silky. I love to play with my hair after using all 3 of the thermashine products! But I do really think the key to getting the benefit of this spray is to use it with the shampoo and conditioner too!
Less than ONE WEEK with this great product and a pumice stone and my feet are borderline perfect! I started out applying it two times a day, but now apply only at night time. It is thick, and doesn't feel great until it absorbs in completely, but the best thing EVER for my terribly dry, cracked heels, that looked hideous! The pumice stone really helped speed up the great results! Good LUCK if you try it!

Well I didn't buy this, but I checked it out from the library. You'll find that I am the queen of checking out beauty books first. This book was a good read. I would consider owning it. I liked that Baumann offered a wide variety of products to use, and with a varying price range. This is more believable for me, then when an author such as drloretta.com writes a book to mostly sell only HER products. My main hang up with this book is that I am borderline with the dry and oily and the sensitve/resistant so it made it hard for me to determine what I was. I would be at the highest number before the next level.... I have never considered myself sensitive, so that really surprised me. But like I said, I was really on the border on that one. But it is a very informative read, check it out from the library before you buy! You might not even need to buy once you figure out your skin type!

I checked this book out from the library. I wouldn't' pay for it, but I think any book is worth checking out. As far as Package Quality, as the choices I could check off...there were many pages that had fallen out of the book and were just tucked back in. Of course with it being a library book it got a lot more wear and tear, I'm sure. Anyway, it wasn't an overly impressive book for me, I did try a few things in it, but I'd say don't waste your money...but check it out for free!
