Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control

I have been using this since high school. I've tried different brands but I always come back to this. It beats everything on the market!
I wouldn't say that this is "skin brightening". I've been using it for a few months now and haven't seen any difference really. It's an average exfoliator and I use it every other day mainly just because I hate to waste products. After this is gone I'm going back to St. Ive's.

LOVE it! I use this every night before bed and it works wonders. This is as close to a magic potion as you'll get. My skin is softer, clearer, and somewhat glowier. It has faded my acne scars and it dries up oil like no other. This is a must have for me!
This is just a big foundation fail. But then I've found that most Maybelline foundations are crap. The color selection is not great and all the colors run this extremely pink undertone that turns into a hideous orange color as the day goes on. Staying power is horrible, lasts maybe 2 hours if you're lucky. Steer clear of this one if you are warm or yellow toned.

I wanted to love it. I really did, especially after all the hype it has gotten but sadly, this just doesn't work for me. It looks great until about 20 minutes after applying and for some reason it starts to get patchy and it doesn't dry at all. I prefer foundations that dry onto your skin somewhat but this needs a lot of setting powder which then just leads to me looking too powdery and matte. Unless someone can give me a few pointers, (maybe I'm applying it wrong?) I won't be repurchasing :(
Liquid -Boots - Lifting & Firming Foundation SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]

I was hoping this would be a replacement for my Colorstay but this foundation is not my cup of tea. $15 is already a little steep for a "drugstore" foundation and their color range is not great. Even the lightest shade had a lot of yellow undertone to it. It is medium coverage and covers well but I wasn't impressed with the staying power. Also, it's not transfer resistant. Overall, it wasn't for me.
Tinted Moisturizer -E.L.F. - Studio Tinted Moisturizer

This is a moisturizer, nothing else. Is there even pigment in this? I have no idea. I realize that tinted moisturizers are meant to be sheer and have little coverage but this has absolutely NO coverage. It didn't cover any of my redness. There are better ones out there.
Normally, I'm an elf junkie. I love just about all their products. This one is a miss. It does the job but not very well. The brush isn't soft, it's actually kind of itchy and it doesn't pack the powder on at all. Not good for blending either. After about a month, the head of the brush fell off completely. I'd go for the elf studio shadow brush instead. It's still cheap but the quality is much better.
This is my go-to highlighter. I have it in Golden Peach and it is a really gorgeous color. I've even depotted a tiny bit and melted it down into a cream eyeshadow. It has an orange-ish smell that I don't care for but it doesn't last. The pigmentation doesn't last all day either but the cute little stick can easily be thrown in your purse for touch ups. Love it!
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Studio Makeup Mist & Set Spray

I can sum this up in one word: meh. I can't say that it really made my makeup last longer but I've used it as a mist to get rid of that powdery look I sometimes get after setting with powder. First, the bottle is crap. I poured mine into a different spray bottle with a better nozzle because the bottle it comes in doesn't work well. Some reviewers mentioned the smell. It's honestly not that bad, it's not pleasant but it's not horrible either. It dissipates pretty quickly after you spray it on. Not sure yet if I'll repurchase.
I LOVE this quad! The pigmentation is surprisingly good for such an inexpensive product. All four shades are gorgeous and for $1 it's a steal. I've used quite a few eyeshadow palettes but this one is by far my favorite. It's a definite repurchase for me!
I had a CoverGirl coupon a while back so I picked this up. I was not impressed so it got sent to the bottom of my makeup drawer. I'm not one to throw makeup away even if it sucks. I ran out of Colorstay and I was getting tired of it's super thick formula. I dug out my Aqausmooth again to give it another try. I'm glad I did! It covered my acne scars and redness perfectly and somehow it still looks like my skin. It doesn't look like I have any makeup on at all. It's lightweight but still covers imperfections. I have combination skin but I wouldn't recommend for dry skin as it will highlight your dry spots. Overall I love this foundation & I definitely will repurchase!
