Shampoo -Trader Joe's - Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo

This Trader Joes shampoo is better than Kiehls tea tree shampoo because of the ingredient listed. The minty tingle is not overwhelming and doesnt last anyway so I dont need to worry about smelling like candy canes or altoids. I like that its scalp friendly because I wash my head daily to get rid of scalp head smell and flat straight thin zero volume hair syndrome. After using this for a month this shampoo hasnt dried out my scalp or hair. For reference I have used in the past: Kiehls, Aveda, EO organics, head and shoulders, neutrogena, LOreal, Garnier, HerbalEssence, Natures Gate and Avalon organic. It doesnt lather much because it doesnt have the lathering chemicals which you dont want on your scalp ! Please do not stop providing this Trader Joes ! I gave four stars for price because this is not a cheap shampoo when you honestly compare this to general shampoos you can find at Target. Not the same product but still this isnt a huge bottle so make a bigger bottle ! hint hint !

Foundations -Lancome - Photogenic Lumessence Compact Foundation

I am a loyal user of Buff Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation for under my eyes and very light coverage over the rest of my face. I use Olay SPF daytime face lotion for sensitive skin for a dewy finish. I have tried expensive dept. store compacts before and hated them all. This Lancome Photogenic Lumessence Compact Foundation in Buff 02 W is surprisingly becoming a nice addition to my daily routine. It doesn't smell and goes on smoothly ( better with a brush than with the sponge ). Nice coverage and brightens up around my eye area where I can look like I haven't slept. My main problem is under eye circles. I don't have acne or scars. I have Tzone combo skin and this really helps keep my oil zone under control. I have sensitive skin and this hasn't cause me to break out ! It isn't shimmery and dries to a smooth powder that settles a tiny bit but so does my Revlon Colorstay. I just check on my eye area during the day to smooth away any line settling marks with my pinky. No big deal since i am in my late 30s. It doesn't feel dry or feel like its a mask on my face. I also use the Olay SPF face lotion throughout the day which keeps my dry cheek area skin dewy and I reapply blush too. This compact keeps my oily Tzone matte :) So far so good and it only cost me 16 usd !

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Nude Velvet [DISCONTINUED]

Smooth and creamy but this nude cream color just washed me out and blended into my face a bit like foundation. The tube is inexpensive and light. I didn't detect much of any smell. It wasn't overly moisturizing but okay over lip balm. It covered my natural lip color well. I just didn't like the color so I tossed it. Revlon lipsticks are always very nice but there has to be a better way to test colors.

Fragrances -Ralph Lauren - Lauren Style

This is a soft discreet scent that does not overpower you and casual enough for work. I don't like to hit people with a strong scent so this is perfect. It doesn't smell obnoxious and it lasts at least 4 hours on well moisturized skin. I wish that it would last a whole lot longer like other perfumes. The glass bottle is pretty and the pink color is irresistable. I don't smell the lime but it's listed as one of the scents. Here is more info from an online site: Lauren Style by Ralph Lauren is a oriental floral fragrance for women. Lauren Style was launched in 2004. Top notes are lime, orange blossom, violet leaf and tangerine; middle notes are magnolia, gardenia, indian tuberose and jasmine; base notes are patchouli, musk and vanilla.

I purchased this fragrance close to 10 years ago for my man and I absolutely love it. Today I still adore this fragrance and I even spritz this on myself. This is long lasting and smells warm, sexy and comforting. A little goes a long way. Here is a description that I found online: Tiffany for Men by Tiffany is a oriental spicy fragrance for men. Top notes are lavender, green notes, mandarin orange, bergamot, cardamom and lemon; middle notes are nutmeg, carnation, sandalwood, patchouli, cinnamon, orris root, jasmine, cedar, rose and anise; base notes are tonka bean, amber, oakmoss, vanilla and incense.

Lipstick -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy Perfect Lipstick in Love Bite

This is for the Victorias Secret Very Sexy Perfect Lipstick Love Bite which is supposedly a close dupe for MAC Strawberry Blonde. It looks like a wine color but when you put it on it is iredescent and looks different under different lighting from rosy red to medium coral red with teensy tiny not all that annoying shimmer which adds to this deeply shiny lipstick. I like how it complements and brightens up my neutral skin tone without being overwhelming. It is quite moisturizing and not sticky but of course doesn't last longer than 3 or 4 hours. It does leave a nice even stain with a bit of shimmer when it wears off. I do not layer this on heavily because a light coverage is all that I need for the impact. This color didn't bleed on me and I don't use lip liner or foundation or lipbalm under this. The only thing I don't like is the cheap plain looking black plastic packaging (why call it sexy when it doesn't look sexy ?). I'm going to go back and look for a lighter more pink shade next time. What a surprise to find a great lippie while shopping for underwear :) I also love that they have testers at their store ! Note to VS designers - make the container more sexy and glam !

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick

This is for Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick that is the NEW version that looks like a Test Tube with a black cap. They claim that no under coat or top coat is needed and that the color will last 12 hrs. It comes in 20 shades with SPF and you can check it out on Revlon's webpage. I purchased Stellar Sunrise (coral red shade), Top Tomato (tomato red), Premium Pink (rose-fushia pink), and Premier Plum (dark purple red). The tube is large 3ml total or 0.1 oz and just shy of 5 inches tall with a flat bottom. The see through tube shows you what you get when you spread it onto your lips. I do like that it is easy to see all that color instead of seeing just the tops of lipsticks. The gloss wand is a long single felt tipped applicator in white and feels like a long thin paint brush (especially if you are used to using sturdy short gloss wands this is weird). The colors have teensy sparkles in them which stays stuck onto your lips. The liquidy color slides onto the skin easily and you have to be careful to keep the color well within the borders b/c this stuff is hard to take off (remember it is a colorstay product). It dries pretty fast and feels dry and tacky. I really needed to spread this color onto smooth non-flaky dry lips and needed a lip balm to make my lips feel moist --otherwise this will feel dry + sticky. Used alone this product is very drying ! Lipgloss or balm over this is still needed. But wow the colors last and last so like I said be careful and neat when doing this application. I don't like the dark plum color and the coral and red is kinda bright. The pink is similar but less fushia compared to Revlon Shine That Pink Lipgloss. This doesn't kiss off even with lip balm over it (after the color dries) and doesn't come off onto cups / after eating. Some came off onto my toothbrush side when i brushed my teeth. The color is more of a flat color rather than a lipstick look. Despite being dry - Overall I liked it and I think re-applying lip balm a few times a day is easier than re-applying lipstick over and over using a mirror. ****Update: I tried Prized Peach and wasn't happy with the pasty color. After using these a few times I am finding that the dryness is really annoying. I'm going back to my Beyond Natural Liptints for daily use and I only use these when I want dramatic color that stays put after eating or drinking for nights out. Unless they come out with more flattering pinks/roses for neutral skin tones I wont be buying anymore of these.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Soft and Smooth lipstick

I agree with the other MUA reviewers there needs to be less scary bright colors and more rose to deep pink shades. I got these as BOGO and I had a hard time choosing colors by peering into the clear tops. I ended up with Sheer Ruby and Sheer Blossom as you can see from my pictures. The Blossom color is more frosty looking and both have tiny glitter particles which stay stuck on the lips after the color wears off into a very very very faint stain. I guess that's why these are called sheer. Even with a base colorstay clear lipliner they dont have much lasting power. These are suppose to be Colorstay but they dont last after eating or drinking. The feel is smooth non-gritty but yet doesn't feel moist or sticky. The Sheer Blossom looks more of a frosty peach color IMO and the Ruby was too bright like a fushia with strawberry red. The plastic clear top is ugly and will likely get crack lines as it gets bounced around in my bag. I also wish that the labels or names would indicate whether or not there was glitter in it. The plastic feeling bothers me and I wonder which of these is causing it...Isododecane , Trimethylsiloxyphenyl Dimethicone , Polyethylene , Hydrogenated Polyisobutene , VP/Eicosene Copolymer , Cetyl PEG/PPG 10/1 Dimethicone , Hexyl Laurate , Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate , Ozokerite , Tocopheryl Acetate , Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract , Parfum Fragrance , BHT , Propylparaben , Mica CI 77019 , Titanium Dioxide CI 77891 , Iron Oxides CI...Anyhow I want to like these but I can't find a color that I love and the plastic feeling--maybe the dimethicone?-- of these lipsticks don't feel all that moisturizing so I won't purchase these again - unless if more sheer color choices in pinks/roses show up :)

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss- Cherries in the Glow [DISCONTINUED]

A great sheer but buildable lip gloss from Revlon. I have this Cherries in the Glow and also another more pink shade. These are pretty smooth shiny looking and dry to a matte light rose cherry tinted stain look. The smell is faint and the feel isn't too sticky at all. There is no tiny glittler sparkles in this shade so no gritty feeling thank goodness. It is a bit liquid drippy when you first apply it (if you glob it on) but what do you expect from a lip gloss - this isn't a lipstick :) I expected a bit more pigment from a Revlon product so this isn't perfect IMHO but the overall container is quite nice for a DS brand. This also had SPF 15 which is important to me so that I don't get freckles on my lips. Wait for a BOGO !

Lip Treatments -Revlon - Beyond Natural Liptint SPF 15 ] [DISCONTINUED]

Yes ! BOGO Revlon Beyond Natural Liptint SPF 15. I love these ! I have swatches of pink, neutral pink, peach and rosy. The Revlon Beyond Natural Liptint in rosy and pink are quite similar however pink has some teensy shimmer particles in it as you can tell from my photos. Pink is a touch lighter shade compared to rosy. The Revlon Beyond Natural Liptint in neutral pink has light brown tint which makes it closer to a nude shade and the peach is a shimery light peach color with teensy shimmer particles in it too. The rosy color and neutral pink color doesn't have any shimmer in it. I do believe the spice color has quite more of the shimmer particles in it from what I recall when I tried an open tester in the store. I didn't buy that shade. These all feel smooth and have a non sticky balm / lipstick feel to them. The big cap clicks on and can't be lost like the tiny caps on the Berts Bees Lipsheer Balms. These have SPF 15 which is so important so that I don't get freckles on my lips. I also love Nivea Lip Care in strawberry which isn't available in the USA but that doesn't have SPF and that shade is the only one that I like so these are such great additions to my purse ! Love these so much - I'm going to buy some more to stock up ! Check out my photos of these shades b/c I wasn't able to see any photos of these anywhere on the internet ~ I bought without seeing these and I love all of my 4 choices. These are keepers :)

I do not have sensitive skin but this product made my skin feel tingly and caused redness. A few days later I had a few bumps on my cheeks which I never have had before. The cream also flakes off in little rolls too.

Too bad this can't be found in the USA. My relatives bring this over to me from overseas. Great light red tint, light smell, no taste, large cover so you wont lose your grip on it (unlike other lip balms with their tiny caps (neutrogena moistureshine balm), affordable, keeps lips moist, not greasy, nice light container and be sure to keep away from heat inside hot cars b/c it will melt into a weird shape but will not leak outside of the container. Love it !

Sunscreen -Vaseline - vaseline intensive care daily sun protection

For general daily use this is great for body and face on me, hubby and the kids. I've been using this since last year and no problems yet. Absorption is great. No stinging or breakouts. Moisturizing and doesn't flake off after many hours. Just only SPF 15 so it isn't great in that regard but for daily general use I like it and keep it near the front door for quick swipes on me and the kids faces and body. We use coppertone with higher SPF if we know we will be spending long hours in the high UV hours between 10 to 3 or 4 pm times. Doesn't react against my foundation revlon colorstay either.

Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 70

Feels great for 3 minutes but then it flakes off in little rolls ? I hated these little dry bits on my cheeks ! All the ultra sheer dry touch sunscreens from neutrogena does this to my face. Not sure why this happens and even if i use just a little bit this still happens. It also happens if i mix it with foundation or moisturizer. But doesn't happen when I don't use it. Garbage oh well...
