Concealers -Make Up For Ever - HD Concealer

This is one of the rare concealers which matches my skin tone exactly. (I'm Asian with medium-toned skin) I was excited to find a perfect match while trying it out at Sephora, but when I tried using it the next day, it caked up very easily. It's a bit pricey for the amount in the tube. Tip: Use a fluffy blush and apply with a VERY light hand. It helps to mix it with a dab of eye primer to prevent caking. I won't purchase it again, but will use till it's finished up.

I am surprised at the cost everyone mentioned here. I bought mine for SGD58 at sephora! (about USD47) I noticed my clogged pores and whiteheads reduced after 1 use. I dislike the package and the product is very hard to remove. I went through a lot of toner and cotton pads, and I can still see tiny bits of the powder in my pores! I used a korean pore brush to get them all out. UPDATE: I found an excellent way to remove the powder after using toner on cotton pads. I pat my face dry, and use Ginvera Marvel gel or CURE Aqua Natural gel to remove all the bits of powder & gunk in my pores. They all came out easily without the need of scrubbing & tugging my skin. These are gels which bind with dirt and gunk on the skin and turn into white bits which can be washed off easily. :) try it!!

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I love the scent of this cleanser. It smells like the luxurious cleansers used when I go for my facial treatments. My face feels very clean but not tight after washing. In fact, it feels moisturized. (I have combination/sensitive skin.) I use baby oil to remove waterproof eye makeup first, before using this cleanser for the makeup on my face. It helps to let the cleanser sit for a few mins to dissolve the makeup completely before rinsing off. Not sure if I will repurchase due to the price, I might stray to a new cleanser after finishing the bottle. UPDATE: 2 Jan 2013. I have stopped using this 1/3 way into the bottle. I have switched to using only raw honey to do a face wash, and Pond's cold cream to remove makeup. My skin went from being oily to normal, and it stopped flaking! Soaps are bad for your face. Really.
