This is a lovely body lotion, simple elegant smell of vanilla and orange, very moisturizing (but no so great in humid hot weather of the East Coast in summer so would prefer to use either in colder or dryer weather). Will buy it for fall/winter. Takes a bit longer than wanted to absorb too.
Sunscreen -John Masters - SPF 30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen

This is a pretty effective and pleasant sunscreen. It takes a few minutes to absorb, it is a bit thick/heavy (that's why one lippie is off), leaves a light white hew on your face which is easily covered by make-up, does not contain bad chemicals in it, does not really smell, great packaging. Need one pump for the entire face and a maybe a bit more for your neck. So far didn't make me break out.
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

This is one of my stand-bys for all times. I love this stuff. It works great, feel lights, provides enough coverage, has SPF in it, easy to match to my skintone. I went back to other foundations after using it for 2 years and that didn't last long, so went back to this one again. I buy it again and again. I use it with LM Mineral Powder for more coverage when needed or with her bronzer. It's lovely, one of my favorites.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Melvita Extra-rich Hand Cream

This hand cream is incredible. I never cared much for hand cream and used drugstore brands until I was sent this as a sample. This is like a facelift for your hands - mine got super silky soft and stayed like that for days, the skin is very smooth and no wrinkles, I feel like I had a plastic surgery on my hands and they look and feel like baby hands. And all of that during the week when our DW broke and I had to do dishes all the time. HIGHLY recommend. It does not absorb right away, a bit creamy/oily so do it while you are watching TV or before you go to bed. Con - expensive for a handcream but I think this will last forever.
I used Nigerian Ginger, Sweet Lavender & Thyme Facial Cream for normal/combo skin and it's OK. It smells fresh, herby, it absorbs quickly and my skin reacted fine to it but I don't see any particular benefits to it after a month of using. So, I feel like it's a pretty good lotion under make-up in the morning but that's about it. It's natural and I like the packaging so that's a plus.
I liked this shampoo in combination with the Neroli Conditioner. It has a very herby smell, it's dark and quite thin. It does not foam at all in my hair though - I have a lot of hair, so I feel like I need to put a lot of it, probably more than I should, to get at least some foaming action, realizing it's a natural shampoo and will foam very lightly anyway. So I don't feel like it's very economic as far as use and it's expensive...I do like the results a lot, the hair is very silky, shiny, clean. I like that it's natural as well. Will buy again but will look for other options as well on the price point.
I use the Green Mandarin with Sweet Lime and love, love the smell...It's very refreshing, it's both a total pick me up in the morning and a nice relaxing feel at night. I use it on my face and chest. I do feel like my skin opens up and starts breathing after I spray it. I am not sure if it gives any other benefits to my face or at least I have not noticed them but I do not expect much from a toner. More of a refresher for me. I like that it's natural and in a glass bottle and not plastic though may be tough for traveling folks. Would buy again probably but not right away as will try other toners to experiment;).
Conditioner -John Masters - Citrus & Neroli Detangler
yana60 8/5/2010 2:40:00 PM
This is a very nice conditioner/detangler. Smells lovely - citrusy light, natural formula (no bad chemicals), doesn't wear your hair down, makes it shiny and silky. Also, I use it as a detangler on kids which is great - no safety concerns and works like magic!! Will buy again. The only con - it's pricey. Lasted me 2+ months but I don't wash my hair every day.
