Blush -NARS - Outlaw

This is the review for the NEW outlaw. It's a nice color, workable texture, but not appealing definitely. I own the old one and I love it. It is my everyday blush in cold days - lovely color, super blendable and great lasting power. I never mind the golden sparkles disappear in the brushes. When I heard that NARS changed the formula, I was exciting and visiting the counter to try it on. However, I tried it three times and I hardly love this as much as the old one. It's a mid tone red with golden shimmer and that's it. I personally like the darker old version more. Quality-wise, it's rather sheer, yet less blendable and hard to pick up with brush. I am not quite sure if the sheerness and less blendability are from fewer product picked up or simply the formula. Also, the lasting power isn't as good. I never tried on from 8am-11pm, which is the normal long day for me, but it fades noticeably somehow even from 11am-9pm. I'm so glad that I got the old one.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Waterproof

This mascara does not give me dramatic lashes, but it does everything I expect for a mascara. It lengthens not much, but noticeably. It does't clumps and give moderate volume to lashes. It weighs down the curl a little bit but generally it holds the curl pretty well through out the day. It doesn't smudge. It doesn't make my eyes feel tired, doesn't irritate and doesn't flakes. For $4, I'm satisfied with what I got. It's not a 5-lippie mascara because for the first several days, the applicator doesn't pick up enough product, it is frustrating to use it at that point.

Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Go Brow - Universal Brow Pencil

I am looking for an eye pencil matching my black hair, this is the one I finally found. However, though the swatch on my hand is nearly grey, when I actually put on me, it looks almost like ask brown. The stay power is okay (rubbed off very easily). Fading a little after the whole day but easily rubbed off. Also, I feel like I am paying $20 for a very short pencil, because the highlight end is a weird color on me. I definitely will not buy this again. Another thing is about sharpening. I broke the lead twice. This never happen to me no matter how soft or creamy the pencil is! Then I lost about 1/2 product :(

Eyeliner -Sephora - Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof

For the price ($12), it is the product worth every penny. I don't think it is outstanding quality-wise and performance-wise comparing to all the products in the market. But it does stay for 12 hrs with minor fading, smudging and minimal creasing in hot and humid days. It's smooth to apply and has very good pay off. The color collection is great as well. For the price, I really have nothing to complain. I have three colors already, and I use them as liner, eye shadow or base, they all work great. If I have some little money to spare in beauty products, this is the product I will pick.

Eyeliner -Tarina Tarantino - Eye Dream Hyperliner

I have Sparkling Ammunition, which is a very dark green with gold shimmer. I love this eyeliner and will definitely get other colors later. The color is super intense with one stroke. Also, it is very smooth but not too soft. I am happy with the wear time. It usually stays on for about 6 hours on powdered lids, and minor smudge after that. If with eyeshadow, it's 8 - 10 hours. It's cheaper than Urban Decay's 24/7, which makes me feel nice when purchase. The only complaint is that I need to sharpen it after every one or two uses. I can live with that, since all those pencils with softer formulas need to be sharpened very often.

Tinted Moisturizer -Lancome - Bienfait Multi-Vital Teinte SPF 30

If you are looking for a "tinted moisturizer", this is not what you are looking for. It's pigmented and not really moisturizing, so I'd rather call it a foundation with sunscreen. For a foundation with SPF30, I'm happy with it. It just stay on for the whole day plus with the SPF30, I don't need additional sunscreen, which is nice for summer. I got shade #1, it's a nice match but still slightly darker than I am in the summer, which is a disappointment. I'm about NC15-20, so if you are very pale, this will not work.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil

There are lots of pros of this product, but it has cons. For $18, these pencils have great payoff, super easy application, wide color range, wonderful blendability and super waterproof. But really, I have to say, the staying power isn't that good. It somehow smudges and creases slightly after an hour but will not get worse after several hours. So I can't say anything to praise the lasting power. Other than the smudging/creasing issue, I am amazed, not in a good way, about how often I need to sharpen. I usually apply eyeliners into my upper lash and that's it. Normally, I sharpen stila's kajal eyeliner, which is the softest eyeliner I have, after about five or six uses, but I need to sharpen three times often than that. I figure that for $18 I got a pencil can only last two or three months is insane.

Effortlessly remove waterproof /smudgeproof products, I am very impressed! It claims no need to rinse as little residue left. I agree, but just personal preference, I do rinse and use soap after. The only thing to blame is that the cloth is a little bit scratchy, but I'll keep using it as it's convenient and does reduce the messiness. Love it.

The quality for this price ($8 w/ BOGO %50 off) is AMAZING! I am very impressed. Thought the two light colors look almost identical on my lids, I will still say this eyeshadow is superb. This is the best baked eyeshadow I've ever used so far. Definitely, This one is not the most pigmented one nor the most unique one, but the lasting power is the best! Without primer in days over 90 degrees, it doesn't smudge, budge, crease or fade, it just stays! I'd love to purchase other colors.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Unstoppable Eyeliner

This eyeliner migrates and smudges like crazy and I never had situation like this before. Only 15 minutes later, I got perfect smoky look around lower lash line without even intended! I don't know what will happen if I set this eyeliner very carefully, but I was so sad to see how poor a waterproof eyeliner could possibly be. Also, because the eyeliner is soft and almost glide on when apply, I feel $7 for so little amount of product is not a reasonable price. One thing good about this is pigmentation. Only one application I got a saturated, intensive result.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Egea Duo

I love the combination and the look while the colors do lay on the sheer side and not unique and the lasting power is not as good as most NARS duos. I don't find these two color identical as the grayish lilac is more like a contouring color for me and the ice green is a highlight. I think this combination not work on everyone, try this on in person instead of swatch on hands before purchase.

After using up about 50ml of samples, I still can't say there's some visible improvement. Redness is still there and fine lines stand still. For an expensive product like this, it's such a shame. Luckily, this didn't break me out and did soften my skin but not significantly. I have to say. There are hundreds of thousands of products in the market can do the same thing, from toners to lotions, creams, gels, masks and serums. I know this product works for some people. Get a sample before purchase if you can then decide whether it's for you.

This is the makeup product I like best from Clinique. Wonderful color, great payoff and all-day lasting power. The texture is not powdery at all and applied nicely. I do appreciate this, a lot, especially for $20 with a nice brush. It is worth every penny.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Sin

This is an ultimate product in 24/7 lines! Great texture, unbeatable lasting power and blendability. However, the color is a miss for me, unfortunately. Sin gives a pink ashy look which I really don't like. If this is a color for you, this pencil is a great value and a wonderful product. Though there's no way I need to sharpen it often, I do think the amount of pencil lost in the sharpener is a concern.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Exotic Dance Duo

Love this duo! It's a duo that does fall on the common side of combinations of NARS's line and fail to impress in the pan. However, this duo is GORGEOUS on me! The glittery sheer white has a nice texture which has little fall off and the cool bronze is a great neutral color. Also, unlike so many NARS duos, this can work by its own. $33 is quite pricy for two colors, personally, but the quality and the performance of the duo definitely worth it!
