Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Sensuous

This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. To me it smells soft and feminine, almost powdery but still distinctly woodsy. It reminds me a lot of Bonnie.Belle Skin Musk but more mature. I disagree with some of the previous reviews. This does not smell like a mature older lady at all. It smells to me like a sophisticated and mature young lady. Its too powdery to smell like an old lady. The staying power is OK. I get about eight hours from it. Its not too strong that its offensive but one spray is plenty for me. I like that the scent.doesn't transform on me. Once it dries it maintains its scent where most perfumes turn rancid on me after a few hours. Its a win in my book. I only wish they'd made a more attractive bottle.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Pink Label
rated 5 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 10/2/2012 11:57:00 PM

Okay. I'm in love. Seriously. Skin79 BB creams are AMAZING. It makes my skin feel silky and smooth, moisturized and makes it look dreamy. Yes. I said dreamy. Without looking like I'm wearing any foundation at all this product manages to blend out all my redness and give me an airbrush like finish. I top it off with some HD powder and it's perfection. It doesn't break me out, doesn't cake, doesn't smudge, doesn't oxidize..... the list goes on. It DOES look a little grey when first applied but once you blend it in that goes away and you're left with glowing healthy looking skin. Then again, I'm really fair skinned and have very few blemishes. This might not work for someone who is blemish prone, has oily skin or has darker skin but it's a win for us 20-50 fair skinned gals! I will be buying this over and over and over again. (For the record I bought the Gold and the Pink labels... I liked them both. I don't really makes a difference which one you choose if you're on the fence with those two)

Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Classic Double-Ended Dramatic Eyes Brush eyeliner + crease yellow brush
rated 2 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 10/2/2012 11:45:00 PM

Like the first reviewer I picked this up when it was on sale for $5 at Sephora but I'd say that is about all it's worth. There's nothing this brush does that a regular eyeliner brush cant do and the crease brush is pretty useless. The liner side of the brush is wide and flat. I have deep set eyes so using it to line my eyes was out of the question because it would not reach inside the corners. It's nice for blending liner that's already applied but more often than not I find myself using this as an eyebrow filler brush and it works well for that purpose... The eyeshadow (crease) side of this brush is way too long. It's better at applying shadow to the whole lid than it is for focusing on the crease. The shadow side of the brush is pretty rough. It doesn't blend well either. I was really disappointed. If you need a good eyebrow brush I might recommend this but as an eyeshadow and eyeliner brush it's a failure in my opinion.

Liquid -Physicians Formula - Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Foundation
rated 4 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 10/2/2012 11:40:00 PM

This isn't my favorite foundation but it's definitely not bad! I picked this up last week when it was on sale 40% off at Ulta which I think brought my total to $8.99. Decent price. I liked that it came with a free foundation brush which actually isn't too shabby. The foundation is medium coverage. It applies evenly. Actually, a little goes a long way. It wore well (8+ hours), did not seep into my pores or lines, did not oxidize and did not irritate my skin. However it did make some of my drier areas more obvious and does smudge off. I liked that for the most part it looked really natural. I just wish it was more moisturizing.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner
rated 4 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 10/2/2012 11:35:00 PM

It's been quite a while since I purchased a liquid liner and I purchased this one with one thing in mind. Halloween. I quit using liquid liners because my eyes are deep set, they always smudge and most irritate my eyes. I decided to give this a pre-Halloween test run and to my surprise I really liked it. Pros: Felt tipped Fine or thick line No irritation No Smudging Cons: Is not as opaque as I'd like. Sometimes I have to apply a second coat. Not Waterproof That about sums it up. Id definitely recommend it. I'll likely repurchase it too.

Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15
rated 3 of 5

I love the way this feels on my lips! Love it. Like almost everyone else I got this as my birthday treat from Sephora. I never would have paid the hefty price tag for a lip balm without trying it first. Now that I know how great it feels I wouldn't mind the hefty price tag. It's the best feeling balm I've ever tried. My only complaint is it melts way too easy. Why not just put it in a tube??? I'd still buy it though ;)

Styling Products -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray
rated 3 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/13/2012 11:21:00 AM

This isn't my favorite hairspray but it's not bad for the price tag. I have this formula in both the aerosol and pump bottle forms. The aerosol version is pretty light and I find myself using a lot of it if I need a lot of hold. It works better as a finishing spray. It doesn't leave flakes or turn my dark hair white but it doesn't have a whole lot of shine either. Beware- the nozzle on this plugs up like crazy and for that reason I no longer buy the aerosol version. The pump version is pretty nice. It has a really good stiff hold and leaves a lot of shine. Again, the nozzle does clog but at least this one is easier to clean. I like using the pump version to define my curls and for scrunching.

Styling Products -Garnier - FRUCTIS Sleek and Shine - Leave-in Conditioning Cream
rated 2 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/13/2012 11:10:00 AM

This leave in treatment is okay. For being a cream leave-in conditioner it doesn't weigh my hair down and it makes my curls easier to comb through but that's where my love for this product ends. It does nothing to maintain frizz and my hair doesn't feel or look any better than it did when I started using it. Since the bottle is large and it will take me a while to use up the other half of it I'll continue using it as a detangler but I wouldn't repurchase it.

Styling Products -Garnier - Curl Construct Mousse
rated 2 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/13/2012 11:06:00 AM

This mousse is just average. There's nothing about it that would make me run out and buy it again. It has decent hold, smells nice and does what mousse is supposed. Like some of the previous reviews stated if you use too much this will make your hair crunchy so a little goes a long way. It's a little on the heavy side for a mousse. I don't think I'd buy it again.

Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Style Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel
rated 3 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/13/2012 11:01:00 AM

Overall, I like this gel. I have thick, long, permed hair that tends to be frizzy from over-styling and this gel works really well for taming frizz. It feels a little slick and oily in your hands (I'm thinking it much be packed with silicone) but it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down. It's more of a smoothing gel so don't expect a whole lot of hold but it's nice if you want a softer more natural curl look. Will I repurchase? Maybe. It's good but I'm always looking for something better.

Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
rated 4 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/13/2012 1:34:00 AM

Let me start by saying I never would have purchased this if it weren't for the MUA reviews. After a bad experience years ago with one of Rimmel's first foundations I swore off their products forever but since trying this I think I may have to start giving Rimmel more credit. I was really impressed with this foundation. It's fantastic. I have normal to dry NW15 pale skin with large pores and some acne scarring. At first I was skeptical that their lightest shade (Ivory 100) would be light enough for me since it looked so dark in the packaging but it was a perfect match. It blended easily and dried down quickly leaving a matte finish. It felt like I wasn't wearing foundation at all. It didn't oxidize or enhance my pores or dry areas. It has great medium coverage but still looks natural. I love the packaging. Squeeze tubes are my favorite since there's very little product waste. For cheap packaging it's really quite functional. I don't have a single complaint about this product. If you like Revlon Colorstay, EL DoubleWear or L'Oreal Infallible like I do Im betting you'll like this... and the small price tag :) **Update: I ended up tossing this out. First, because my boyfriends cat bit through the tube and ate some of it (hilarious) but mostly because I realized it was making my skin look.... sick. It can't stand up to heat. Anytime I'd go out in the sun with this on it would melt off, seep into my pores and lines and look flat out disgusting. Might be a good winter foundation but definitely not good for hot Cali summers.

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
rated 4 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/11/2012 2:12:00 AM

I've never had good experiences with BB creams or tinted moisturizers. They're always too dark, oxidize, break me out, make my skin feel oily... you get the idea. So I was really skeptical about trying this product but for $8 I figured one last try couldn't hurt. That being said.... I love this stuff. Really. It's great. It feels light but leaves my skin soft, provides a nice light coverage, doesn't break me out, doesn't feel heavy.... it's just awesome- especially for summer . This blows all the other BB creams and TMs I've tried over the years out of the water. Some girls complained about the packaging. Personally, I like it. I didn't have any issues with it leaking. I just wish it came in a larger tube because I'm definitely going to need to buy more soon.

Eye Makeup Remover -Physicians Formula - Eye Makeup Remover Lotion Normal/Dry
rated 4 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 7/11/2012 1:53:00 AM

This isn't my favorite eye makeup removal product but it certainly has its place in my makeup bag for good reason. It's great for travel. Since it's a lotion it does take a little light rubbing into to completely loosen all of my waterproof mascara but it does the job without any irritation. Even better it's smaller than most bottles so it fits nicely in my bag, doesn't dry out like makeup removal pads and doesn't leak like liquid eye makeup remover which for me is important since I travel a lot. The price is nice too!

Eye Shadow -NYX - 10 Color Palette - Champagne & Caviar
rated 5 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 5/25/2012 1:45:00 AM

I love this palette. Love it. Love it. Love it. I am fair skinned and this is by far the best neutral everyday set I've had to date. Every color is wearable and it has a nice variety of matte and shimmer colors. The colors are pigmented well but not so well that they're difficult and time consuming to blend. They're not the best quality shadows in the world but there better than most in their price range and I challenge anyone to find one better for the price. I use this almost every day. It has replaced all of my other nude shadows. I was a little concerned about the packaging since I live out of a suitcase and travel 2-3x a week but to my surprise after 5 months it's no worse for wear.

Eye Makeup Remover -Flirt - See-Ya Eye Makeup Remover
rated 1 of 5
xxxPikadoodlexxx 5/25/2012 1:34:00 AM

This really is almost the worst make up remover ever. It removes nothing. It's about as effective as using water. It won't remove mascara at all even if it's not of the waterproof variety. It smells pretty bad too. I also disliked the opaque white bottle. It leaks and it's hard to tell how much product is left. Save your money because this product definitely isn't worth it.
