Liquid -Chanel - Perfection Lumiere

Im not sure about this foundation, its highly expensive (£36!) and am not really impressed with the coverage either. Ive only just purchased it but the first thing I noticed is that the MA may have match me up wrongly (nc42 in mac) and thats really upsetting considering how much you pay for something and in my circumstance how far you travel to get it. Its slightly too light for me (i was 60 Hale in pro lumiere but that was slightly too dark for me but still workable!) but i was match up to 50 biege in this foundation. The finish of the foundation is really nice, semi-matte and it also feels very light on the skin. I have oily-combi skin, with powdering i think the foundation will last. However i had difficulties covering up some acne scarring on my cheeks, concealer is a must! but what if my mac concealer doesnt match!? Should i go back and ask to test out the next shade up?? EDIT after an 8hr shift at work, this foundation did not look good, seems it doesnt last long on my skin unfortunately.

I originally brought this for my mum who has dry sensitive skin but unfortunatly she had a reaction to it, so I thought I use it instead. Now I have combi oily skin but cuz my skin been quite dry I started using this, its not too heavy or greasy and I abosultely love it, use every night and morning but only if am wearing powder foundation, I think it might be too much if I wear it under my pro lumiere. only wish it was slightly cheaper but the product does last and I only apply a small amount.

Foundations -Chanel - Pro Lumiere Professional Finish Make-Up ] [DISCONTINUED]

i have oily/combi skin so i have no idea why the sales rep gave me this- oh wait yeah she said they didnt do my shade in the mat lumiere which is the one i wanted (am nc42) and this was the next best thing. however my skin has become much drier now for some reason and i can wear this for the moment and now i see why people love this foundation so much! am definately being converted from a matte look to a more dewy one. in summer i'll definately have a problem though. but chanel shade range is disappointing, i dont get why she said chanel dont do darker shades in the mat lumiere... plus if you're more on the yellowy side chanel foundations are not like MAC and matching your tone is also difficult. i use the darkest shade in 60 Hale which is slightly a little too dark for me but its ok.

Treatments (Eye) -Clarins - Special Eye Contour Balm

I got this on a whim, wasn't too sure if it was going to work but I've tried everything! Well first of all it does keep my sensitive dry eyes very well moisturised, thank god. I do use it morning and night though but even clinique couldn't do that. However am 23 and suffering from fine lines already but I don't think this product has done anything for them. I said yes to repurchase because it's the only cream that doesn't irratate and my dryness has gone but really hoped it'll help with my fine lines. Must continue my hunt for the perfect eye cream. EDIT. ive used it for much longer now and am quite happy with it, my dark circles seemed to be disappearing and helps keeps my eye area hydrated, fine lines havent disappeared but keeps them at bay!

I Used to love this when I first purchase it, combined with fresh pharmacy it was the answer to my prayers that finally cleared my skin! Yes it is heavy, scent was ok but overall good. During winter when I needed it most my skin actually went from oily to dry I didn't have it. When I finally did get a hold of it, I realise a few things that despite being for oily skin it is heavy in the skin and then I broke out too and surprisingly this was the cause! Am gonna stick to fresh pharmacy and clinique dd lotion, this has gotta go!

Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

ive been using this for the last 2years, ive always used a liquid foundation before but because of my combi oily skin they dont last long. am acne prone too, so mostly drugstore foundation broke me out, this was my first high end product i brought! am i nc42 but i think in winter i go lighter but always stuck to the shade. this is great for oily skin in harsh winter where your skin is drier this may not be suitable. but overall good product, great coverage very buildable compared to other powder foundations. like a reviewer said before this does go darker as the day goes on so thats why ive not giving it a 5. but overall fab!

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes
xxhoneyxx 1/17/2011 5:55:00 PM
am on my second jar so have used this for pretty long time! when i brought my first it was absolutely amazing, my under eyes were kept quite moisturised, dark circles slighlty reduced, because of the price (£25) i decided to find cheaper alternatives, after wasting some money i went back to clinique. but i finally realise that its doing nothing for me, yes it moisturising, but when i conceal it completely soaks up the moisture and drys out, my dark circles have gotten darker and at the age of 22 am getting an increasing amount of fine lines! it seems the product is doing nothing! am desperate so ive been caking this on my eyes just to keep some moisture but my search continues for a better eye cream. please get a sample before u buy.

I should have checked the reviews before buying this but oh well, I got this from a cheap makeup store, the lady said this was the most popular eye cream- Yeh right! After reading the reviews from this site, thought it would be best to try the cream out on my hand first, 1st reaction it burned! Imagine if I put it on my eye area! Thank god I didn't. Going in the bin.

completely matifies my skin! just recently brought it with the chanal pro lumiere which i thought looked a little too dewy on my combination skin after seeing its effects i think i'll just keep it on my tzone leave my cheeks with a little shine, but this makes my face feel so soft, not heavy at all. price puts me off repurchasing though £37 for 10g!! hope it lasts a veryyy long time...!
