Lip Gloss -NYX - Apricot 19

Nyx Round lipgloss in Apricot This, to me looks like an orangey red lipgloss with no shimmer and the colour in the tube really is different from the colour it gives to my lips. I am not a red lipstick girl, and I don't like red lipsticks on me at all. I usually pair this with nyx round lipstick in femme, which is an orangey red lipstick and it pairs so beautifully together. I personally don't like to use it it on its own but I'm sure you can, and it gives you a glossy lip with red tint. A lot of people complain about the smell, but it honestly does not bother me. In fact, I read so many reviews online saying it smells and taste disgusting, that as soon as I got them in the mail, the first thing I did was smell them rather than check out the colour. But it honestly does not bother me,and to all those saying it taste horrible, you are not supposed to eat your lipgloss! If you happen to dislike the smell, the fragrance is really not that strong f and it does not last on your lips. The packaging is really cute and I have not had any problems with the stopper as some people have said. The tip applicator is bent for easy application. I personally think that the mega shine lipglosses really are better in quality and the scent is more yummy, but both are very very good.

Lip Gloss -NYX - 28 Whipped

Nyx Round liploss in whipped This is the perfect nude lipgloss with a hint of pink undertone. It does contain shimmer but it is not chunks of glitter, the shimmer only adds shine to your lips and it does not look shimmery on my lips. I like to use it over e.l.f mineral lipstick in natural nymph and nyx slim lip liner in natural and it eleminates the dead look that you sometimes get from a nude lipstick. A lot of people complain about the smell, but it honestly does not bother me. Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder

This is my first HD powder so at first I did not know how to use this. The product is meant to create a smooth finish to your face, avoiding caking or emphasis on wrinkles. It really is a great setting powder but I do not like to use it all over my face, I only use this on my under eye area, where my concealer tends to set on any imperfections. The powder in itself is white which may make your face appear whiter, but if blended properly, there wouldn't be any white marks on your face. For the price, you get a lot of product. The packaging looks really great and inside it also comes with a cotton applicator to apply the powder with, however, I do not recommend using this as it applies too much product to your face, I apply it with a large eyeshadow angled brush onm under eye area and if I want to use it all over my face I'd use e.l.f studo face kabuki. Another thing about this product is that it is so fine that if you shake the product to get it on the tray and open immediately, a puff of smokey looking powder emerges immediately. So what I recommend is shaking the product just after application [obviously, when closed] so that you won't be forced to shake the product prior to application. I strongly suggest to remove the cotton pad from the product, since it can be in the way when wanting to apply the powder with a brush. I probably would repurchase, even though my initial reaction was not so good but now that I know how to use it, I am very very pleased with it.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush
rated 5 of 5

It is very very soft - not as soft as elf's face kabuki. But it really is very soft. It is a great dupe to other pricier brushes. I use it for my foundation or tinted moisturiser. Blends the product so evenly. I love the fact that e.l.f does not test on animals. You cannot find any cheaper good quality brush than this one. I love the handle for this brush. Very sleek and professional looking. I was going to say I will buy again, but this product won't need replacement anytime soon. Very high quality and highly recommended.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Kabuki Face Brush

E.l.f is known to have the cheapest most affordable make up out there without taking away the quality of the product. The kabuki face brush is slightly pricier than e.l.f's other products. But it really is worth the price. I use it with setting powders, such as e.l.f's complexion perfection and e.l.f's hd powder. It works really great with compressed powders. I have to say, I do not need a great amount of coverage and this kabuki provides just that for me. I hate when brushes just pack on the make up unevenly without blending or anything. This brush is super soft and blends powder so brilliantly. I am simply in love with this product. And the price for this kabuki is amazing when compared to the much pricier kabukis from different companies. The most important thing to me is that e.l.f does not test on animals. Plus - this is a taklon brush, that is, fake hair, not animal or human hair. MUST BUY.

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Runway Pink
rated 4 of 5

Runway pink is pretty gorgeous and is not bright. I find this more wearable than elf natural nymph but because of the texture I still pair it with another lipstick or lip product. All lipsticks are not that creamy to me. [Side note: I'm used to creamy lipsticks so I find them drying. The texture is OK really. I just wish they were moisturising. ]

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph

I don't find these lipsticks creamy. My natural nymph packaging is sort of messed up. When I first got it it was just fine but after a while it locked at a certain point so the tip of my lipstick got crushed. Colourwise, pale pale colour. Very nude lip colour. I would not wear it on its own but conceals pigmented lips very well and looks gorgeous when paired with an appropriate lipgloss. It does contain pink undertones.

Highlighters -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Spotlight
rated 4 of 5
xxXdynaXxx 9/25/2010 1:28:00 PM

spotlight: great highlight colour with very little shimmer. The packaging looks cheap. I prefer this over the shimmering whip in spotlight. Much easier to blend, but I don't think I'll repurchase because I prefer powders. It may serve as a good base though for a powder highlight. I love the way it smells. Sugar orange.

Blush -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
rated 2 of 5
xxXdynaXxx 9/25/2010 1:27:00 PM

Pink lemonade: At first I liked this product but I honestly don't use it anymore. I don't find it blends easily .. but then again I'm not used to creamy blushes. I prefer powder. The colour looks gorgeous – it is a shimmery pink blush. It gives you that healthy flush. I also have the colour spotlight and I love it as a highlight and it blends much easier than pink lemonade. Maybe I don't use pink lemonade properly. I don't know. I won't repurchase. I also have e.l.f shimmering facial whip in spotlight and the texture is very runny. So if you're indecisive between the two – I suggest the all over color stick over the shimmering whip.

Concealers -E.L.F. - Tone Correcting Concealer

elf tone correcting concealer in light beige. Not so impressed. I tried using it on spots. I don't find it has great coverage. But if reapplied you get more coverage. Because it is lighter than my skintone, I find it works better than if it matched my skin tone perfectly. But that's just me. I can't complain though, because for the price it is a good product. Oh. And I love the way it smells. Sugar orange.

Blush -E.L.F. - Shimmering Facial Whip
rated 3 of 5

elf shimmering facial whip in spotlight Designed to be used on eyes, lips and face. I use it on my eyelids and on my face as a highlight. Spotlight is a very shimmery white highlight colour. Not so easy to blend. Tube is ok. Would not repurchase most probably because I prefer powders.

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Mineral Eyeshadow

elf mineral eyeshadow in: angelic Great great colour: very shimmery white eyeshadow with plenty of glitter. Love the packaging. Brightens up the whole face when placing it on the inner corner of the eyelids and looks great when paired with a smokey eye. Can be applied wet or dry. I always apply it dry though, I can't be bothered tbh. Very easy to work with and I have to say - it is extremely shimmery.

Blush -NYX - Peach
rated 5 of 5
xxXdynaXxx 9/25/2010 9:16:00 AM

PB06 Peach: My favourite shade. Very silky in texture. Buildable and very easy to blend. It is not just peach, it is more of a pink with peach undertones. I simply adore this colour. Could be worn daytime and nightime. Recommended for a natural flush. Cute packaging.

Blush -NYX - Angel

xxXdynaXxx 9/25/2010 9:15:00 AM

PB03 Angel: Very similar to nyx peach. Love love love the silky texture. Simply amazing. It is a baby pink with purple undertones[?]. It does not look purpley on your face but when compared to peach, it looks more purple than pink. A gorgeous everyday blush. I'm not much of a bright blush person so this works well for me because it looks very natural. It is buildable and very easy to blend. Cute packaging.
