Alright, I scored big on this purchase. I was browsing through Target's clearance section, and I found this product in a 2 for 1 package for $9. YES, ONLY $9. It was an online return, so it was discounted from its original price of $32. When I first bought this, I just knew it was expensive and really discounted, so I bought it. Typically I use CHI Silk Infusions in my hair as an oil, but this product quickly replaced it. It left my hair feeling very slippery and silky smooth, not to mention it destroyed most of my frizz. I usually only use half a pump for my long hair and it's plenty, so I expect these products to last a long time. Even though the smell is a little like men's cologne, I still love it and it ends up smelling nice once it's in your hair. Overall, I LOVE this product. Would I buy it again for full price of 1 for $32? Probably not since I'm a broke college student, but I will fully enjoy and savor this product while my 2 for $9 supply lasts. From now on I'll be hunting the Target clearance sections for more! (Only 4 stars because of the high cost of the normal pricing. )

Styling Products -Sunsilk - Anti-Poof 24-7 Creme

Overall, it didn't do much of anything to my hair. I have extremely poofy hair, especially when blowdried, and this did nothing to lessen the poof. I gave it three stars because it does make my hair smell nice, and makes it a little softer, but does not do what it's promised.

Styling Products -Farouk CHI - Chi Silk Infusion

I've been using this product for about 5+ years already, and have loved it since the first time I tried it. I first ordered it via Amazon, and ended up getting 6, 2oz bottles at a fairly decent price (I believe...$15?). 5 years later, I'm on my last bottle and still have about half of it left. That being said, I use about a dime size portion of this product before I straighten my hair (about 2 days a week), and whenever I have extremely frizzy hair when I leave it curly. It's particularly good at both, and leaves my hair silky soft and frizz free. If your hair is curly, like mine, and you straighten it often I would highly recommend this product, since it helps the straightener glide down hair smoother and helps combat frizz. The smell of the product is somewhat strong and manly at first, but after a few minutes I can't seem to smell it at all. I actually like the smell, because it reminds me of a guys cologne. Overall it's a great product that'll last a long time, and I definitely recommend it!

Hair Color -LUSH - Caca Marron
xthemusicoflifex 7/29/2012 5:50:00 PM
I wanted to love this, I really did, but LUSH's Caca Maroon just didn't cut it for me. Before using the henna I had read up about it and knew it would be harder work than box dyes, and much much more messy, but box dyes left me with an allergic reaction. Before starting the henna, my hair was about 3 inches shorter than my bra strap, and a light brown/reddish tint/ dark blonde color and all natural. When using the LUSH product, I used 3 squares and followed the directions exactly. When it came time to put it in my hair, it was about the consistency of pudding, and matted my hair together. It was so matted together that it was very difficult to reach dry parts of my hair to coat them, and it looked like I had dreads (and felt like it too!). After my head managed to get covered completely, I did NOT saran wrap it, and left it on for around 3 hours. When I was washing it out it was unbelievably hard to get it out of my hair and it turned my shower dark green (walls, curtain, everything!). After I washed it all out and conditioned, I dried my hair to find out that it was GREEN tinted in the front (where my part is), and the rest of my hair got maybe one shade darker, but it was hardly noticeable. Even though henna is known to condition hair, my sometimes manageable hair felt like straw after everything was rinsed out. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed with this product and don't even know if I'll use the rest of the bar. It was a pain to put in my hair, tinted it green for a few days, and didn't last long at all. Not to mention the smell is fairly obnoxious. (NOTE: Make sure your shower drains really well before you rinse it out, or else you'll be stuck trying to figure out how to unclog the mess in a pool of deep green water)

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara Waterproof
xthemusicoflifex 12/7/2008 3:14:00 PM
this is not very waterproof. i'm on the swim team so i would know too. this mascara smudges alot under my eyes durring practice and when i get out i look like a raccoon. the mascara itsself is just ok, nothing special. lengthens a little but does not really give the "full" effect at all. i noticed after practice, when i get home to wash my face some of the mascara is still on my lashes, despite all the smudging. the remaining mascara then is extremely hard to get off using just my face wash. i would not recomend this if you were going to the pool in the summer or doing semi intense water activities, for everyday wear with just a little water its just ok. there's better products out there i'm sure.
