Foundations -Meow Cosmetics - Pampered Puss Mineral Foundation

I've heard many rave reviews about this mineral foundation from various indie makeup blogs so I decided to give it a try. I purchased 2 jars in two different colors during their 20% off + free shipping deal. The price was very reasonable (especially for the amount of product you get). I picked up the full sized & the munchkin size. Both will last me a pretty long time. I got Naughty (full sized) & Fierce Abyssinian (munchkin sized). For reference, I'm a NC35-NC40 yellow/beige-toned asian. I wish I switched around the orders because it turns out I was closer to Fierce than Naughty. My advice to is to order samples or hit the forums before you get full sized! On the site, I thought Fierce looked too dark for my skin but up close, it's a lighter than pictured on the site. I tried the foundation for about a month Pros: - It did not break me out! I have very acne prone skin that tends to break out so I'm happy that my skin loved this foundation - Coverage was light-medium but very build-able. - Finish was glowy-matte. There was subtle shimmer but it was overly shiny like EDM orginial glow was on me. - It worked well with my dry skin - Large size & for the amount you get, its very inexpensive - It covers redness reasonable well Cons: - It lasted reasonably long but not as long as I expected. I needed touch up every 4 or so hours - It didn't cover most of my acne scars & discolorations. - Color choices can be overwhelming Overall, I LOVE the finish it gives my face but not the coverage & the fact that I had to carry around a container for touch ups. I use it a more of setting powder/light foundation or with some concealer, its one my favorite on-the-go foundations to wear. I would recommend it & probably will repurchase it.

I have yet to try this on my cheeks but it gives my lips a gorgeous pinkish, slightly purplish tone. If it wasn't for the price tag, I would use it everyday. I love LOVE the color!

Lipstick -NYX - Snow White

One my favorite red shades hands down. With my tanner, golden skin, I found that darker red shades suit my coloring more than bright reds. When I swatched this, NYX Snow White was exactly the red shade I was looking for with a creamy consistence .

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot - Constructivist

It's a gorgeous, not over the top glittery brown color. When I swatched it at the MAC counter, I instantly fell in love with it. When I got home and opened my new paintpot, it was dry, patchy and hard to apply. I thought I had gotten a bad one so I went back to exchange it. The second one is slightly more creamier but definitely no where near as easy to work with as my other paintpots. The color makes the purchase worth it but I find it a hard to use on a daily basis due to its texture.

A very pretty color but a bit too shimmery for me. I love pairing it with lighter brown for a neutral eye. Its very creamy though and easy to work with. I love the texture.

Blush -Hard Candy - Living Doll

It's a very pretty blush but on my golden, tan skin (NC25-30 in Mac, Light Tan in EDM), it gives me only a very light flush. Its more of a highlight for me than a full blush. I love using it on top of my blush for an extra glow but I was kind of disappointed by the lack of color. I would recommended it for fair/light skin tones. Overall: It's not bad for the price but not as amazing as I hoped it would be.

Blush -Everyday Minerals - blush all

I've tried various different blushes but my favorite will always be EDM & Fyrianne. Everyday minerals has a great selection and their colors are very suitable for the everyday look. Some of the blushes contain a bit more shimmer than I prefer though.

Blush -Fyrinnae - Glow Blush - Mesmerize

It definitely seems to suit cooler toned skins than warmer tones (I'm a golden toned, tan NC 30-35ish for reference). It's a gorgeous, pigmented color & they give you a generous amount for $6.50. Just a warning though, It looks a lot more purple/berry in the jar than in the swatch picture. The swatch made it look very bright pinkish but its more purple.

Blush -Fyrinnae - Fyrinnae Glow Blush in Enchant

It's extremely pigmented in the jar but blends out to a gorgeous pink-coral. I am a golden toned asian NC35-40 so I always need pigmented blushes to actually show up on my skin. It gives me a lovely healthy glow & stays on most of the day. Its probably my favorite out of my loose blush collections!
