I wish ELF would make more colors of these blushes because they are great quality. I find these blushes to have a slight sheen to them, but nothing glittery. I have the colors Pinktastic and Rich Rose. Pinktastic is a champagne highlight with pink veining. It gives a really pretty candle-lit glow to the face. Rich Rose is a light bronze blush with deep pink veining. It gives a beautiful, natural everyday blushy-glow to the face. I would highly recommend these products. They are so cheap and so good!
This foundation would have been perfect for me, if it didn't break me out. There is a good color selection for the CG Clean line. This foundation is also medium coverage so it is good for everyday wear. The formula was also very good at controlling oil as well, but it caused so many break outs every time I wore it. There is also no pump on the foundation which made it difficult to take out. I would not recommend this foundation.
Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

This foundation was a miss for me. Though I loved the pump applicator and that this foundation was long- wearing, the color oxidized on me really bad. The color selection was also very limited; there were a lot of shades with pink undertones, but not too many with yellow. And to top it off, this foundation made me breakout. I would not recommend this foundation to those with sensitive, acne-prone skin.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara
xsaraboo 3/31/2013 7:40:00 PM
I picked up the Clump Crusher at Target for about $7 a few weeks ago, and I like it so far. The formula is not overly wet or dry, and the mascara comes with a curve shaped applicator which has rubber bristles. It does a very good job separating the lashes and adds subtle volume. It is good for a natural, everyday look, but doesn't give my short, sparse lashes a dramatic look. I like it, but wouldn't repurchase because I like trying new mascaras.
The ELF Studio line makes some really good quality blushes. Candid Coral is a peachy/pink blush with a slight sheen to it. In my opinion, the color is a dupe for Benefit's Coralista. The packaging is very nice and sturdy, and is similar to NARS package. The only negative thing I see about this blush is that it can be a bit powdery, but nothing a little tap of the brush and blending into the skin can't fix. It isn't extremely pigmented so there is no fear of over applying the color to the cheeks. This is a natural blush, that gives a pretty glow to the face.
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
xsaraboo 1/18/2013 7:27:00 PM
Sweet Tart is a really bright, cool toned pink. It is a cream formula, meaning no glitter or shimmer. It is buildable and lasts a decent amount of time. This color is a little over the top for every day wear, but works really well as a night out sort of lip color. If you like bright pinks, then this one might be for you!
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
xsaraboo 1/18/2013 7:24:00 PM
Tutti Frutti is an orange lip color that can be sheer or built up to opaque. It is a cream finish so there is no shimmer, and is can really brighten up the face. I really like the formula, but the color did not work out for me.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie
xsaraboo 1/18/2013 7:19:00 PM
This is another one of my favorite colors from the lip butter line. Berry smoothie is a pinky-berry color with a hint of shimmer. The amount of shimmer in this lip butter is perfect; it gives dimension to the lips and leaves absolutely no gritty feeling. It is moisturizing, and a color that flatters any skin tone. One of my top picks!
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipstick - Warm Me Up
xsaraboo 1/18/2013 7:15:00 PM
I usually have a lot of trouble finding a pink that works for my skin tone (NC35), but this lipstick is perfect. It is a neutral, yellow-based pink that is perfect for everyday wear. There is a slight sheen to the lipstick, but it isn't too shimmery. These lipsticks have a faint Play-Doh smell, which most people find off-putting, but I like. It isn't as moisturizing as I'd like, but if I apply lip balm before hand, I have no problems.
I really liked this eye primer. I would say that it is very comparable to Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Palladio products (this primer included) can be found at Sally's Beauty Supply or on the Palladio website. This consistency of the two are extremely similar, and they also function the same way. It is very creamy, and after blended out is very silky. My eyeshadow lasts all day with this primer, with minimal to no smudging. The only bad thing is the packaging. It comes with a doe foot applicator, very similar to a lip gloss so it can be difficult to get all the product out. However, this is a very good low cost alternative to TFSI.
I was shopping at my local drugstore when I came across this mascara on sale for $2.99. Revlon one of my favorite makeup brands and I thought this purchase was a steal. Everything about this mascara is just wrong. The brush is way too big, making it extremely hard to apply to the lashes. The opening is also too big, so there is a lot of excess mascara on the brush giving a really wet and clumpy look. It doesn't make your lashes grow either. And at $10 for regular price, not worth the money.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
xsaraboo 1/18/2013 6:56:00 PM
Out of all the WnW 8-pan palettes that are in store, "Comfort Zone" would have to be my favorite. All eight eyeshadows are very pigmented, buttery-soft, and shimmery. It isn't glittery, but there is some definite shimmer in the colors. The right side of the palette has olive green tones to it and the right side has brown/bronze tones. Overall, I really like this palette. The colors are very wearable and easy to blend. There is also a lot of product, so it will last for a very long time. And the palette is super cheap! ($4.99, but if you catch it on sale, its even cheaper) The cons I see would be there are no matte shades in this palette. Every color has a sheen to it. It is nice, but I wish this palette was more like the 6-pan palettes WnW has before. The packaging is also flimsy and cheap. But aside from that, this palette is a quality palette, and worth a mention.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Sunset
xsaraboo 1/17/2013 8:33:00 PM
I got this Clinque lipgloss in a gift with purchase set. It came in a double ended lipstick (in Tenderheart)/ lipgloss (in Sunset) duo which I thought was pretty nifty! This lipgloss is long lasting and has an SPF of 15. It is a shimmery nude color and can be paired with almost any lip color. It is slightly stick, but I don't really mind since that makes it last longer. It does have a strange scent to it, but its not terrible or off putting in any way. I wouldn't buy this lipgloss again, but it was nice to try out a new color. This was just okay for me.
Wet n Wild has really stepped up their game in term of cosmetics. Every single one of their Color-Icon eyeshadows are amazing, but Nutty has got to be my favorite. In fact, this has got to be my favorite eyeshadow ever. It is the perfect taupe brown shade for my eyes. This color does not lean too cool or too warm, its just neutral. Nutty is a shimmery eyeshadow, so when applied it does have a slight sheen on the eyes; however, it doesn't look overly sparkly and tacky. It is perfect to wear as a natural eye look, and can be used to make dramatic looks as well. The eyeshadow itself is buttery soft, and a dream to apply. The only con is because it is so soft and buttery, it is prone to breaking when dropped (learned this the hard way, but lucky, I used the alcohol trick and my eyeshdaow is good as new! And even if it breaks, you could always get a new one, they're dirt cheap! :D ) On a day to day basis, I usually use this as a stand-alone shadow on my eyelid, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. This is one of my HG products, and for a $1.99 (at regular price, I might add) no other eyeshadow can beat it
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Plum
xsaraboo 1/17/2013 8:11:00 PM
I am addicted to the lip butters, and have purchased about half the collection. Sugar plum is my favorite shade out of the entire line. This lip butter is a plummy-pink color with a hint of mauve that suits my warm skin tone quite well. It is a cream formula so there is no shimmer or glitter in it (which I love!) This application is quite creamy, and this color is one of the more pigmented colors. It is perfect the the fall and winter since the color is a bit darker and the formula is very moisturizing. I would definitely pick one up if you haven't already!
