Lip Gloss -BeneFit Cosmetics - California Kissin'

This kind of product is popular in Asia, but there are much cheaper versions available (Etude House, Missha, Baviphat, and other Korean brands). People like to stain their inner lips with a darker tint, then apply this kind of gloss for a cool, gradation effect. It looks pretty cool when a blue shimmer is used over other colors. Would I buy the Benefit version? No. Would I buy a cheaper version that gives the same effect? Yes. Peace.

Palettes -Coastal Scents - Ultra Shimmer 88 eye shadow palette

Great product for value. You get almost every color imaginable for under $20 and if you think about how much $20 can get you at a store like Sephora, it's worth the price! Although some of the shadows are better in quality/color than others, there's still a decent number of great shadows! The lighter colors tend to be chalkier and have more fall out, but some of the colors are just gorgeous! My friend ordered the matte version, and I've got to say that the shimmer version is more wearable and versatile. It's great to play around with, and I love coming up with new color schemes. The possibilities are limitless! Also, the very vibrant colors make great eyeliners when used wet. I have not had any problem with blending. I ordered mine from Amazon and it came to me without any damage. Tip: Use a good shadow primer and apply eye makeup before foundation to get rid of some messy fall out. UD is great, but I am currently in love with my E.L.F. mineral eyeshadow primer and for $3, it's a great buy.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark

This polish is overrated. Maybe I was expecting too much because of the rave reviews. The matte, dark purple color changes color depending on the light. Indoors, it looks black. In the sunlight, it's a deep purple with burgundy tones. I definitely need 3-4 coats for full coverage and the first coats do go on very streaky. I like the new wide brush, tho. It makes application so much faster. I tried LPAD after being unhappy with LPAM, which is not as dark as the former and more purple with shimmer. Overall, I like LPAD. I'll probaby use it alot more in the fall and winter.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Juice in Groove Child

I found this at a dollar store, so I decided to give it a try. In the tube, the color looks beautiful: a delicious cherry pink. Unfortunately, there's hardly any color when applied to the lips. I was also looking for a gloss with shimmer and high shine, but this did not deliver. Overall, it looks very dull on the lips. However, it does smell and taste nice. The sweet raspberry scent smells like Lancome's Juicy Tubes. The sticky texture is tolerable. I'm just gonna use this now as a low-key moisturizer.
