When I finally purchased this item I was very pleased, I used it daily, probably more than necessary because I love the way it made my full lips feel supple and juicy. Then I noticed that if your lips are somewhat dry, that it does not add moisture, it only aids in what's already there. I enjoy how the pink one tints your lips and I usually put the blue untinted one on top when I'm casually going out.
