Skincare - Face -Shiseido - Facial Cotton

After reading the reviews for this cotton on Makeup Alley, I decided to ask the SA at Shiseido for some samples - I just HAD to see what the hype was about... And boy did these cotton pads not only met my expectations - they exceeded them! I did not know facial cotton could be this soft. I've been using the regular cotton balls from my local Target and didn't really mind them but now that I've used Shiseido's facial cottons, the regular ones feel like sandpaper on my skin! ok not so much sandpaper...but you get the point. They feel like clouds on my skin...and allows me to use less of the product since they are thinner and don't completely soak it up. I'm sure these will last me a while - I agree that it is better to cut it in half b/c you really don't need the whole one.

Makeup Brushes -NARS - 27 - Yachiyo

There is no way I'm going to pay 50 for a blush brush...so I bought it on ebay for like 27. It works pretty well for applying the blush nicely on my face. I didn't apply to well in the beginning but after getting used to it I really learned to like it.

Toners -C.O. Bigelow - Rose Water Skin Tonic

This stuff does not work miracles, but it does it's job at cleaning my make up and does not cause me to break out. I'm almost done with my first bottle and have had no bad experiences with it. It does a great job at taking off the dirt on my face.

wow i love this stuff! My mom gave it to me since she's using some other skin product for her acne and I love it! It makes my skin feel soo soft when I apply it and it feels soft even when I wake up...I have clear skin but my skin is still dry and this really helps.

Treatments -Biore - Pore Cleansing Strips - Nose

My boyfriend's nose has tons of dirt and blackheads and these strips seriously have so much on them when we peel it off. For me, it doesn't do much even though I have some blackheads...barely visible which is why it's more difficult to remove. Would buy again for my boyfriend.

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar SPF 20

This stuff made my face so oily...shame on me for not trying it before I bought it. Luckily Nordstrom's has an easy return policy so hopefully no problems when I go to return it. This is extremely greasy. The texture is a nice mousse but makes my face feel like i just rubbed olive oil all over it. The jar is nice but a lot of build up goes on the sides where the top is. At $45 bucks for a 4oz Jar...this is totally not worth it.

Pretty pricey but soo much cheaper than paying for lash extensions! My mom gets it from her friend, so she got me a tube and I've been using it for the past 3 months. My eyelashes have grown significantly! They've even grown to the outside corners and it won't fit inside my eyelash curler! I don't even have to wear eyeliner everyday now...I just wear some powder, bronzer, and curl my lashes and wear mascara! Looks natural AND saves me time. The only thing I'm worried about is effects of long term use. I do know that if you stop using it, your eyelashes will not stay as long as they were.

Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Style Surf Hair

My hair has always been poofy and frizzy...I didn't even realize until a few years ago that my hair was considered wavy...after trying so many mousses and gels....I finally tried the surf hair cream. Makes my waves look defined and also gives it a little tousled messy look. People always ask me if I've curled my hair. I love it because its so easy to use. I straighten my hair a lot and a lot of days I don't have time to blowdry and straighten...so all I do is scrunch a little bit into my hair (takes about 5 minutes) and it dries up looking nice and wavy =)...I am a little disappointed that the soft curl cream discontinued as I heard that was a good product as well...but I am happy with this.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength

This deodorant works pretty well considering I do not follow the instructions by putting it on at night before bed...putting deodorant on is just not on my list of things to do before I go to bed. On the occasion that i DO remember to put it on before bed, I do find that it works a lot better. The smell is amazing (I believe it's called light n fresh). My boyfriend loves to sniff my pits...ha ha..pricey but I sweat A LOT and have not found any deodorant that I like better than this one.

Mascara -Unlisted Brand - Katie B faux lashes

Out of all four bottles of mascara I have laying around, Katie B's Faux Lash Mascara is by FAR my favorite for a dramatic look. It really does lengthen and volumize my lashes and I get compliments on my eyelashes often. After a few months, it can sort of dry out so what I like to do is hold the tube in between the plates of my hair straightener (without touching it of course) for a few minutes and let it warm up...it gets more wet and less prone to clumping.

Mascara -Shu Uemura - Mascara Basic [DISCONTINUED]

This product is great if you're looking for a natural look. It's easy to apply, and doesn't make a mess. The packaging is very simple but attractive. I love that it doesn't clump my lashes at all! Don't expect to purchase this product and see a dramatic change. It is very light, and won't weigh down your lashes.
