Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner

I have very oily lids; almost nothing stays on for more than a few hours. Although this won't last the entire day, it'll last for most of it, which is really something for me. It doesn't go on super smooth, but it isn't rough, either. I'll buy it again simply because it does what it says it will, which is stay on all day.

Bronzers -MAC - Bronzer in Golden
rated 5 of 5

I was a little worried about using bronzer on my NW15 skin, but this is lovely. Most blushes tend to show up red on me but I wanted something to brighten up my complexion and this is just right. It does have shimmer, but its minimal enough that I could only tell when I was in direct sunlight.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Painterly
rated 4 of 5

I've been wearing this by itself for a few days now and so far, so good. It does crease by the end of the day, but I have very, very oily lids, so I'm not completely surprised. I'm not a big fan of the glass packaging.

Concealers -Maybelline - Fit Me
rated 5 of 5

Oh my, this stuff is wonderful. The coverage is the best I've come across in my epic search for an under eye concealer and the texture is *amazing*; its a thinner consistency than some concealers, but it feels so light on the skin. I have very dry skin, which makes wearing cake style concealers difficult (I always seem to rub away my primer) and my heavy under eye circles make it pointless to wear the thinner concealer formulas. This one looks incredibly natural, covers well and is much less money than I would expect to pay. I'm NW15 and wear #15 in this. It's about the most perfect color match I've come across. I will buy again!

Concealers -MAC - select cover-up
rated 3 of 5

I've had this for a few months now and I'm torn. While I do think the coverage is quite good on my hereditary dark circles, the texture once dry and the packaging leave something to be desired. Wearing it made my skin feel like I was wearing pancake makeup. The packaging (squeeze tube) proved to be troublesome on more than one occasion.

Eyes -L'Oreal - Le Grand Kohl in Cafe
rated 4 of 5
xoxAllyxox 3/7/2011 1:12:00 PM

After trying out the liquid pencil from L'Oreal (too messy) I gave this a shot. It isn't the softest pencil I've ever used, but it isn't hard to apply or rough on my eyes. I wish the brown went on a little darker (I suppose if the pencil were creamier the color would be more buildable) but overall I'm happy with it. EDIT: Colorstay far outlasts this on me.

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete Touch of Sun Daily UV Facial Moisturizer SPF 15
rated 4 of 5
xoxAllyxox 11/18/2010 12:48:00 PM

I got tried of trying to mix moisturizer and self tanner for my face so I decided to give this a go. I actually like it a lot; it gives my NW15 face a hint of color (if I do a thin layer; if I do a thicker one it is really easy to go overboard). It does feel a little greasy, though.

Skincare - Face -Neutrogena - Healthy Defense w/ spf 50
rated 5 of 5
xoxAllyxox 11/18/2010 12:43:00 PM

I'm surprised this has low reviews; this is my favorite facial sunscreen. It doesn't have the supposedly "bad" sunscreen in it (oxybenzone) like most others seem to AND it doesn't have that sunscreen smell. I don't usually wear foundation, but I put this on in the morning and it keeps my skin looking soft all day. It feels lightweight and doesn't make my dry skin look oily. I'll buy this again.

Tinted Moisturizer -MAC - Studio Moisture Tint SPF15
rated 1 of 5
xoxAllyxox 11/9/2010 1:05:00 PM

This TM is gross. The smell is powerful (someone said band-aid smell and I couldn't agree more) and it looked disgusting on my skin once I got out of the store and in to natural light. It caked up...I didn't know TM could do that. I'll never buy again.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Sheer Tint [DISCONTINUED]
rated 1 of 5

I thought Clinique, of all brands, would have something to match my ultra fair tone in a TM (and, also, that a TM wouldn't be super pigmented). I was wrong; "fair" is a pale orange on me.

Liquid -Clinique - Almost Makeup [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
xoxAllyxox 11/9/2010 12:08:00 PM

I wanted to like this. The coverage was light, the price was right and they had a shade to match me. HOWEVER there's this weird odor that lingers...I can't get past it.

Styling Products -John Frieda - Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster
rated 5 of 5
xoxAllyxox 11/5/2010 1:48:00 PM

I'm surprised by the negative reviews; I really like this root booster a lot. It isn't going to give you super epic lift BUT it does give my fine, limp hair a little volume at the roots. It isn't sticky once it dries and doesn't have much of a scent at all. Also, unlike other volumizers I've used, it doesn't leave flakes in my hair after it dries. Overall, this is my favorite root booster so far and I'm sure I'll buy it again.

Blush -MAC - Cubic
rated 5 of 5
xoxAllyxox 10/29/2010 12:09:00 AM

I'm sort of new to MAC and have been searching for a pinky brown blush as regular pinks tend to overwhelm my NW15-ish tone. I tried Tenderling, but wasn't thrilled with it, so an SA suggested I try Cubic as it was better suited for cool tones than Buff or Prism. Overall, I'm pretty impressed. It highlights my cheekbones with just the slightest hint of muted pinky brown and looks really natural. I'd buy it again! EDIT: This is perfect for me; it looks incredibly natural and is easily buildable for more intense color.

Eye Shadow -MAC - MAC Orb Eyeshadow
rated 5 of 5
xoxAllyxox 10/22/2010 12:59:00 PM

When the SA picked this one out for me I was a little wary of trying it out, but I'm glad I did! I wanted something a little more exciting than my everyday Blanc Type (not that Orb is particularly exciting). This brightens up my eyes with a slight sheen. I'd buy it again.

Styling Products -Aveeno - Nourish + Style Volumizing Foam
rated 3 of 5
xoxAllyxox 10/21/2010 1:16:00 PM

I'm on the fence about this. I like that it isn't an aerosol but it isn't the most volumizing product I've ever used. I'm a little worried about how quickly I'll go through it as I have very thick, very fine long hair. I'll probably try another non-aerosol but I'm not opposed to buying this again. EDIT- I do seem to be going through this really fast; I probably won't buy again.
