So far, Im rating this a 5. I bought it today but was obviously hesitant at the price tag I paid exactly $39.55 (CAD w/ tax) When I first applied it, I loved the texture Thick-ish but not sticky at all Has a lovely mild minty-sweet smell. It applies clear but give it a few minutes and it adjusts to a pretty, wearable, everyday, my lips but better pink What really blew me out of the water was when I wore it all day today and it had rubbed off (due to eating, drinking) I went to the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror my lips were still that gorgeous pink colour Oh and the packaging is adorable :) IMHO this could be like $10-$20 cheaper, but for what it is, its amazing *Will update considering I only purchased it today!*
I'm not sure if i got a defective one but this was quite terrible :( The product was never smooth and creamy, it was quite the opposite. I had to apply a lot of pressure to the pencil to get ANY colour.. Ps I purchased it in Hazel
In less than a week it made my skin smooth, soft, even toned, and glowing Love it!
Soooooooooooo happy I got my hands on them :) My parents went to the states recently so I asked my mom to pick up a couple of these for me considering they don't come out in Canada until January (I believe). Anyways I got candy apple and berry smoothie. Candy apple is my fav, such a gorgeous pigmented warm-toned red and it doesnt have the heaviness of a lipstick Love them!!!
I have and have always had oily skin, especially in the summer and even in the winter. This year has been different though. Now with the colder season here, my skin has been feeling a little tight and dry which is new to me. I had a tub of this sitting around from last winter so I used it on my face at night because this cream seems to heavy to put under foundation I use my clinique moisturizing gel during the day, but it just wont cut it anymore! Overall, I love it Keeps my skin feeling nice and moisturized during the cold seasons!
This is actually a satin finish, not frost. Gorgeous colour that would flatter many different skin tones. Apply it straight from the tube for a vampy look or dab it for a lighter berry look. Love it! & the packaging!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I wrote a review about this, but now that I've used it a lot ill give it more of a fair review. So a little background: I have oily skin everywhere but my cheeks (which are sensitive). During the hotter months of summer, this was a good moisturizer. It kept oil at bay and absorbed really quickly, which was a plus. As the colder months approached, my skin got dry[er] (which was new to me) and this moisturizer just wasn't doing it for me. It left my skin feeling even dryer and really tight. I switched to using the cetaphil moisture cream which in the long run really did restore my skin's moisture, but it was wayyyy to heavy under makeup (although i wore it under makeup a lot) I would use extra virgin olive oil at night and cetaphil during the day. By the end of the day it looked like my makeup was completely gone or really uneven and just gross looking. (I wear concealer and mineral makeup ONLY (MAC's MSF natural) day-to-day. Over the last 6 months I've rarely used liquid foundation) So for the last two days I've switched back to using this during the day and boy is it doing wonders for me. It makes my makeup look FLAWLESS even after a long day. Today I woke up at 6 am for school and went straight to work after until 10 pm and my makeup looked dewy and perfect. This stuff is great, depending on how oily your skin is and the general climate. I definitely recommend giving this a try
I was hesitant to write a review on this because I didn't know what to think. At first I hated it, it was clumpy and messy. As the formula dried a little, I grew to like it and now I'm not a fan again. A little background: I have naturally long lashes (or so people tell me) so I'm looking for volume, lasting power and a rich black colour in my mascaras. Hence, I always buy the blackest black colours. Now what do I have to say about this? It barely lengthens my already long lashes, it gives me 0 volume and it flakes during the day. I've never had a mascara flake on me and I have tried my fair share. It looks bland in an hour or two. Will not repurchase. I'd rather invest an extra 10$ for something that works. Giving it 3 lippies out of 5 was generous.
Eye Makeup Remover -Rimmel - Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

I was on the hunt last night at my local drug store for an eye make-up remover that removes waterproof mascara and that wouldn't burn a hole in my wallet This was on sale for 4.99 CAD (regular: 7.99) so I decided to give it a go seeing as it was the cheapest one there and I have heard a great review on it. I was using the Quo one previous to this and although that one was good it was like 9.99 and left a greasy residue. I must say, although the ingredients are a little off putting, this is a great product! lightweight non-greasy and does a great job in removing waterproof makeup I will definitely repurchase. For the people who claim this product stings their eyes: it could be possible that while removing your makeup, your mascara/eyeliner had gotten in your eye making it sting. I know this obviously wont be the case for everybody, but I know personally no matter what remover I use, if that cotton pad soaked with mascara gets in my eyes, they sting like a mother-. Im only saying this because last night, a drop of just the makeup remover dripped from my cotton ball into my eye (w/o any makeup on it) and I was really surprised that it didn't sting or make my eyes red! Just a thought! xx
I was rushing at the mall one day and had no time to go to Sally's to pick up my regular Seche Vite top coat, which I had run out of the day before. I asked the lady at Trade Secrets if the OPI topcoat is good or if i should opt for another brand but she assured me this one was top of the line. Including taxes it came to about 11$ (CAD), which is about the same as my Seche Vite. Anyways, the only positive thing about it is that it does make my nail polish last as long as any top coat but...... I CANNOT stop this from bubbling! I dont shake the bottle I wait until my polish dries & I dont have moisturizers or other products on my nails prior to painting. It also takes forever and a day to dry and does not dry to a nice hard finish (i.e. you can dent your nail polish) It makes it more annoying that this was final sale. Ugh, would not recommend at all.
Great orange-red nail colour on my yellow-toned skin! Definitely a go-to for me, and a staple in anybody's collection. I was pleasantly surprised that I only needed one coat on my nails to achieve the true colour. Love it :)
Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lip Wear in Fragile Pink 409B

Overall, I like this lipstick. The colours a cute sheer baby pink, great for everyday. The one thing I CANNOT stand is the smell. It smells like a combination of expired play dough and plastic, I just cannot seem to get past it. The reason I put "no" for if i would repurchase this product is because i am not a overall avid lipstick user and i don't see me using this too often because of the smell.
Styling Products -Got 2 Be - Smooth Operator Smoothing Satin Drops

I love this stuff. I use about 3 drops and just apply it to the ends of my hair. Makes my dry hair super shiney! Im not one to always buy the same products but definitely repurchasing this!
I love the result I get with this. Yes, it does sting the lips but only a little nothing unbearable I only wish it lasted longer
