Shampoo -Aveeno - Nourish+Moisturize

Overview on my hair: Not dyed, very long, and my hair texture is wavy. After one use of both the shampoo and conditioner, I can tell you this product is worth every penny. It leaves your hair feeling smooth and most importantly, clean. The smell has a small scent of flower that is very tolerable and smells amazing! The packaging is very cute, it is in the colour of the traditional Aveeno beige, and has bright blue font colour to identify the moisture line. Pricing for this shampoo is fairly pricey -- I paid around $5 on sale for both the shampoo and conditioner ... I believe it is regular 8 or 9 dollars (I am from Canda, FYI). Overall great product, and will most likely repurchase after use!

Liquid -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup

I just bought this concealer today and I am impressed with the result. I am the colour "light" and I feel it matches my skin almost identical. The only con I can think of as of today, is the applicator. Application can be improved because I find it a pain to have to twist the top in order to get product out.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

I have used this concealer many years ago and I absolutely fell in love. It is (or what I thought) creamy and full coverage. I go to a MAC counter a few weeks ago to pick up a new pot, brought it home, and it is SO drying with a clay, hard texture. Not really satisfied or disappointed. The studio finish concealer does what it is supposed to, though it is very drying and uncomfortable.

Blush -NYX - Angel

I fell in love with this colour the minute I spotted NYX's blush products! "Angel" is very, very pigmented and a little really goes along way. The colour is a beautiful blush pink with peach undertones. For me to rave about a blush is a huge deal too because I have been dedicated to MAC's blush in the colour "Dame" for years.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

After two years of deciding if it is REALLY worth spending $60 on an eyeshadow palette, I caved in. I couldn't bear to walk into another Sephora store, see the naked palette staring at me knowing I still* don't own one. Now, I confess ... I go on YouTube a lot and one of the reasons why I know about UD naked palette is because of the girls on YouTube. Is it worth $60? No. Is the quality of eyeshadow great? Yes! My only concern as of now is creasing. I use NARS eye primer and it is amazing ... just wondering why it isn't working out for now. Another side note: In comparison to the Naked Palette 2, I find #2 to be much lighter and more of a "neutral" look though I am still satisfied with #1 :)

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Milk

Absolutely love this eye shadow pencil! Milk is a super pigmented white that looks amazing as eyeliner or used in your waterline. I personally use this pencil in substitution of eyeshadow, because my eyes just pop and look huge. Just a side note: Blending is really key when using this product. My first attempt was a failure because I didn't blend properly and I looked very awkward. Definitely recommend and will repurchase :) UPDATE: So it's been a while since I first reviewed this product. One day I dropped the eye pencil and this created a dent in the product. Since then I have had to constantly sharpen to get even a BIT of product out! This is frustrating because the quality is great, it's just the fact I can't get anything out of it anymore.

Other -Unlisted Brand - Huggies Shea Butter Baby Wipes

O M G. Huggies ... where do I begin? My mom first introduced me to Huggies wipes because, well, I do not have children and she uses them for our home. These are fantastic for removing makeup and having a clean, fresh face. The wipes are thick (which I love) and are infused with shea butter for hydration. I am also convinced my skin has cleared because of Huggies -- immediately I noticed a change in my skin texture and appearance. Love them and will repurchase definitely.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Lots of Lashes

I am a huge and dedicated fan to Maybelline and their "Great Lash" line. I have religiously re purchased their regular formula mascara and wand for years, and years. I received this mascara as a birthday present and I was SO excited to try because of the new wand! After practice it does become easier but I find the application to be tricky nearing the end of your eyelashes and the formula seems to have changed, being dry and flakey. I was so disappointed because 1) I love Maybelline and 2) I have never had an issue with this line. Sorry!

Lip Treatments -eos - Smooth Sphere Organic Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew

After watching YouTube videos countlessly and hearing all things positive about EOS - I sort of caved in to see the fuss. Upon applying, my lips became dry and rough. There is not enough moisture for my taste and I'm sure for others because that is what EOS is all about: moisture and hydration. Also, the "honey suckle" flavour is very, very subtle so don't hold your breath! UPDATE: I misjudged this product as it is now very hydrating and moisturizing. I believe I had to "break it in" so the product could actually start to work. I am not sure if I would repurchase, but it is worth a try.

Purchased this product yesterday and I was very shocked to see it available in Canada! I used it immediately when I got home and it removed all of my makeup. A very important tip I learned is a little goes along way. I don't want to assume its capability because it has been less than 24 hours SO I decided to wait until the next morning to review. My eyes didn't feel like it had residue of mascara on and that became a huge relief. I also put some on my face this morning after I woke up and I was grossed out to see "dirt" on the cotton ball (not makeup as I did not wear any face products the day before). I highly, highly recommend bioderma :) Update: I literally just repurchased a new bottle of Bioderma two days ago because the quality is amazing and I ran out. Just a side note in case you are wondering how long the bottle lasts!

Concealers -Lancome - Effacernes

I purchased this product yesterday and I have already made a judgement on this concealer. As an undereye concealer: It is fabulous -- the consistency is nice and it has just the right moisture. As a concealer for the face: Not so much (kind of figured because it's meant under the eyes) though If you choose to use it on your face, use very, very minimal. Overall great product :-)

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

Being a full time student with 8 hour days from Monday to Friday, I NEED a face primer that can get me through the day with no hassle. I purchased Smashbox' photo finish primer last minute on Christmas of 2010, the bottle is still full & it is AMAZING. My makeup (powder or foundation) stays put all day long and I do not have to worry about my makeup smudging off my face. One thing that does happen though and I presume it is common, I need to powder my face two times within the day. I highly recommend this product for long-lasting makeup wear, for ALL skin types :)

Treatments -OPI - Nail Envy

I purchased this strengthener last Wednesday and have been diligently using as directed. So far, I love the results and have been monitoring my nails quite frequently. The day after I first used the treatment I noticed my nails to have already changed. My nails have never looked and felt better :) ** One major issue I have is the price ** For only ONE bottle it costs 19.95$ [I live in Canada] and so I highly, highly recommend to purchase a two for one deal. I ended up buying a strengthener and a cuticle oil treatment for 19.95, both created by OPI.

Treatments -OPI - Avoplex Cuticle oil

I purchased the Avoplex cuticle oil by OPI in a two for one package. I expected the treatment to smell strong and I was definitely surprised because the scent is so lovely! That being said, I find this product to do exactly what it's meant to do although I do recommend to soak your nails in hot water prior to using the treatment so your skin is extra soft!

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete UV Protection Moisture Lotion Combinaton/Oily Skin SPF15

I purchased this on the weekend, desperately trying to find a moisturizer that didn't make my skin burst into sweats. I briefly read reviews on the Olay Complete product and was satisfied enough to at least try it. The consistency is fabulous, and it does not leave my skin with any residue/oil though it did NOT live up to the moisture I needed, especially during the Winter!
