First off, I don't want this review to turn anyone off of buying the clarisonic. My number one suggestion is to go out to sephora, buy it and test it out. I was super excited to pick this up, as I am a total akin care junkie. I have a 5 step cleansing and moisturizing process which most find extreme. I was hoping this would cut that process down. I have dry dry but acne prone skin, however due to a naturally tan complexion I scar really easily. Even the smallest pimple will leave a scar which was my main reasoning behind purchasing this product. After the first use, I was shocked to see that my makeup pad with my cleansing milk came out completely dirt free. However.....after about the first week my face turned into a flakey dry mess. No matter how much moisturizer I used or water I drank, I was barely able to move my face due to the dryness. I decided to cut down to using the clarisonic only twice a week...however my face just wasn't adapting to it. I tried numerous cleansers , brush heads etc. but nothing worked. I even have scabs from severe dryness on my face now. Clearly the clarisonic did not give me the skin I was hoping for...or paid for rather. However, sephora being the amazing store that it is, returned the product and I received a full refund. If you are thinking about buying the clarisonic, my suggestion is go to sephora and buy it! Test it out for 3-4 weeks and see if it works for you. If not its a simple trip to the mall to return it. I so badly wanted this to work for me, but I think my skin is just to sensitive. However, there was absolutely no harm in trying it out for a few weeks. Especially since now I know it doesn't work, I'm not itching to go purchase it!
I used to hate this product. I got it in a set with the gel liner (pretty decent, however the Essence Gel Eyeliner is still my HG and 1/3 of the price), the limitless eyeliner pencil (complete crap) and this cream eyeliner. Every time I applied it with an angled eyeliner brush I found that it wasnt a true "black" and would smudge in the matter of minutes. So I ended up throwing it in the back of my makeup drawer filled with expensive crappy products I can't bear to throw out because of the amount of money I paid for them. Regardless, I sort of rediscovered it the other day and decided to use it. I 'primed" my eyelids with Mac's Painterly (a generous amount), then used the 'Like Mink' Clinique duo and decided to line my eyes with this. First of all, I realized I need to use ALOT of product. I coated my brush and to my surprise it ended up coming out as a true matte black. The staying power was shocking, it actually stayed ALL DAY and looked fantastic. I got asked by a few co-workers what I had lined my eyes with. My essence gel eyeliner is my HG product for my eyes at the moment at at $4 you can't go wrong, however it does have that "shine" effect which can sometimes come off to strong especially for day looks at the office etc.. The Smashbox Cream liner as long as you have a tough base on your eyelids comes off extremely matte, black and is fantastic for "natural" eye looks. Ladies! Dont throw this product away, it is absolutely fantastic. Just play around with different bases and you will see how amazing it truly is!
I think I might have a bad product or something after reading all the positive reviews. I absolutely HATE this eyeliner. It creates a smudged black mess on my eyelids. I do have super oily lids, but this still manages to smudge even with a primer. Causing a weird black mess on my eyelids. Ive used it with the UD Primer Potion....it will last MAYBE 2 hours with a little bit of smudging on the outer corners Ive also used it with Mac Painterly as a base, and it lasts a tiny bit longer. But is a smudged mess after 4-5 hours. But the weirdest part is, when It comes to taking it off with an eye makeup remover. It will NOT BUDGE. I have to scrub my eyes about 2-3 times, but I still wake up in the mornings with a racoon mess. It honestly makes no sense to me The only benefit of this eyeliner was the sharpener on the lid. It's one of the best sharpeners I've ever used. Otherwise, after attempting to make the eyeliner work since it was so pricey. It just ended up in the trash because it literally drove me nuts.

This stuff is dirt cheap and fantastic. I use it for more of an all over cheek color and the add a peach blush on the apples of my cheeks. It gives you this amazing sun kissed glow. It's extremely buildable which is what I love. I have medium skin that I find is hard to find a bronzer for. They are all either way to dark and end up looking muddy, or way to sheer and dont show up at all. What I love about this bronzer is I can put on a little bit during the day to give me a glow and the build it up when I go out in the evenings for a more noticeable look. For $3 you honestly can not go wrong! For people who are having issues with it staying on, I use it over my Laura Mercier TM and have had no issues. A friend of mine does use a primer (smashbox) and it's helped the staying power significantly.

This is crazy pricey, however it a tube/bottle lasts forever. I used to use Clinique's Almost Makeup however they discontinued it so I switched over to this. I have crazy dry skin, and this is the ONLY product that makes me look like I have that amazing dewy finish (I have the oil-free version). It also has fantastic coverage and looks completely natural in photos, in real life etc. I've been applying it with my fingers, however after reading the reviews I might go and pick up a stippling brush. My mom (has combination skin) tried using this product and it made her face into an oily mess.) So I would only recommend this for people with DRY DRY skin. Otherwise it will 'melt' off. If you do have dry skin though, check this out you will not regret it
This is amazing eyeliner! The first one I bought however dried out in less than 2 weeks. Luckily Sephora has amazing customer service, and replaced mine for free. If you are eyeliner challenged like me, this is the product for you. It is literally fool proof and you will come out with a perfect winger liner every single time. The lasting power is also unreal, this does not budge. Just make sure to store it upside down!
I have beyond oily lids, I would have to load on Urban Decay's Primer Potion just to have my Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner stay on without making a black mess on my eyelids. That was until Essence Gel Eyeliner, this stuff is AMAZING. I get NO smudging and thats without a primer/base. I accidentally fell asleep with it one night, and somehow managed to wake up in the morning with it still looking perfect. Go out and buy this right now! But dont forget to buy an oil based makeup remover...because its definitely a challenge getting it off!
