Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Angel

My first MAC lipstick! Inspired by Kim K of course, so obviously I bought Stripdown liner. (used a drugstore dupe for the nars turkish delight by Revlon called Peach Petals) Anyway LOVE this. People would comment on my lips, I do find though it is a look that requires you to be be reasonably made up (foundation, mascara, tiny smoke on the eye, bronzer/blusher) otherwise you can look washed out. I have olive skin (I think i'm about NW35, I use Chanel Vitalumiere in 40 for reference) for those who want to achieve the Kim K lip, sticking to Angel won't suit most and there are plenty of other colours to suit different tones that will still give you a perfect nude lip. Angel is pink rather than nude, so if you solely want a nude lip, then this isn't it, unless paired with the complimenting liner/gloss.

Lipstick -MAC - Meltdown lipstick

I'm not sure to be honest! I do like the colour, not sure about how it works for me yet, I have yet to try it on a night out. A warm orangey-golden shimmer colour, has a lot more va-va-voom per layer. I'm just really getting into MAC lately, and the lipsticks are stealing my money again and again. I would love to give this lippy a real night of attention with some bronze makeup etc. One thing i've found is that, when i line my lips with stripdown, then wear Angel frost THEN add Meltdown, the mix creates a REALLY nice light coral-peach colour. Give that one a try if you can. i'll check back after I Meltdown on a crazy night out ;)
