Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

I have only been using this foundation for a week, but already i really like it. It looks really natural but still gives medium buildable coverage. I received this in a swap and i'm so glad i swapped for it. I am a mac nc25 and i got the colour fiji, which is a ok match, but abit too yellow. So if anyone can reccommend another colour that would be gd :)

LOVE this brush. I bought one because i saw all the good reviews on it and wanted to try it out, and for only £3 it was worth a try! Shortly after buying the brush i bought another one because i use it for EVERYTHING! liquid foundation,powder,blush.....My favourite use for it is stippiling on my nars sheer glow foundation then buffing it in, it gives a flawless finish! I would recomend this brush to anyone :)

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Creamy Foundation

LOVE this product, it glides on so easily and gives a really sliky finish to my skin. If you like Benefits 'some kinda gorgeous', you will like this. tbh i think this product is better than Benefits, as there are more shades to choose from and its a third of the price! The packaging can be annoying but its not a big deal for me. I took away a lipstick because it only gives light to medium coverage, but i don;t want full coverage when its hot, so i use this as my summer foundation.

LOVE this product!makes my hair really soft as well as protecting from heat. The pump is also good as it mists the product onto your hair rather than a jet of water,haha x

This is a good foundation giving medium coverage. I found it a little dark for my nc20 skin, but nothing major. I had to set it with powder as it gives a silky feeling finish but i could also see it getting oily throughout the day if you don't reapply powder. The packaging is really cute and comes with a sponge and mirror which is handy if u want to put it in your bag, but i found i got the best finish using a foundation brush. Overall a good foundation but not good enough for me to buy again. x

Eye Shadow -MAC - Star Violet (Veluxe pearl)

One of my favourite MAC eyeshadows,it is a really metallic brown with pink/purple undertones. It is really blendable and goes with so many colours to create loads of different looks. i love using it over girlie with sketch in the crease or as an all over lid colour with other colours in the crease. It also really brings out my green eyes, i would definetely repurchase this, but i probuably won't have to for ages as MAC shadows usually last me forever. Overall a great eyeshadow. x

I wanted to try this product for myself after seeing all the mixed reviews on here. I really wanted to like it but sadly I just couldn't get on with it. I was put off even before I had tried it by the messy packaging and horrible smell( smells like paint). It just felt like I was painting my face and that I was clogging up my pores. The finish it gives is medium to full coverage which may be more appropriate for wearing at night rather than during the day. The Overall'buff was a good match for my nc20 skintone, but as it dried quite quickly I found it hard to work with.Overall an ok foundation but I won't be purchasing it again.

love this concealer! i first tried it when i bought the big beautiful eyes palette and really liked it. It gives good coverage and is really smooth but can look cakey if u put too much on. I'm not saying its HG but i'll be repurchasing until i find something better.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

This is an ok concealer but not as good as i would expect from mac. i bought this as a cheaper alternative to Benefits boing concealer, but i will def go back to that after i have finished the mac one. the product gives good full coverage, and matches my nc20 skin perfectly. However i find it is abit cakey and it is obvious that i am wearing concealer when i apply this under my eyes, so i just use it to cover spots. overall a ok product but would def choose Benefits boing concealer over this. *UPDATE* I take back what i said earlier in this review. I feel totally riped off by Mac after purchasing this product. I looked in the mirror after writing this review yesterday and my skin looked horrible! My foundation (maybelline powder mineral) had slightly worn off as i had been wearing it all day, leaving the mac concealer underneath. Where i had put the concealer (under my eyes and on spots) looked totally cakey and dry and i noticed i was starting to break out in those areas too, and i NEVER break out due to makeup. I wouldn't buy this for £1 let alone the £12.50 i paid for it.

I like the blush in the palette but hate the eyeshadows. they look good in the palette but they are not pigmented at all once u get them on your lid!def would not repurchase this!

LOVE this eyeliner. the colour is really black and glides on easily and stays put, the only downside to it is that if very dark eyeliner doenst suit u i could see it looking quite harsh, but other than this it is a great product!
