I got the most luxury sample from Sephora. I had it over 2 weeks, and I am still using them! This is my HG, after I tested with all my liquid foundation and TM. It works with everything, I mean EVERYTHING! I have combo skin, very oily nose area and very dry cheeks. This primer keeps my nose oil free for almost 5 full hours without using blotting paper. It also smooth out my dry patches for a bit, so made my foundation application goes on much easier. This primer also made my foundation last much longer. I used under Mac machmaster, Bobbi Brown long Wear even finish foundation, Lancome Teint Miracle, Dior Nude skin, they all work much better with this primer. I don’t have hug noticeable pores, and yes this primer won’t cover your pores as many review said. I think this will be the only down side for me.

Liquid -MAC - Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation

I have been using this foundation over one month now. I am somewhere between NC30 - NC35, and using 3.0. The color matched me perfectly. The SA at Mac counter said it's a mid coverage foundation, but I found this cover pretty on my face. Well this is my first Mac foundation so I can't really compare to other popular ones. I use my hands to apply this and gives me the most nature finish. It dried down pretty fast on my face, so I have to work apply section by section on my skin. It has pretty much keeps me matte all day, and the staying power is amazing! (last me up to 8 hrs) I don't use powder to set my foundation except my nose area. Because I found out if I set my foundation, about 4-5 hrs later my nature oil mix with powder look crease around my mouth area. Dont get me wrong. It happened on all foundation I use. This is not the only one. I think this foundation is great for summer use. But it might be a bit too dry for winter. I am not sure, but I will try for sure!

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector

I have been using this correct for over 6 months. The color covers my dark circle so perfectly and I don’t need concealer to cover more. But here comes to my problem. They crease like 5 mins after I applied to my under eyes circle, and it settled in to my deep fine line. I tried BB's Hydrating eye cream and some others seem didn’t help much. I used to powder my under eyes area and tried to set it. But it got worse. I tried lots of setting, loose powder settled into that deep line and make it look 10x worse. I tried to use my finger or brush to soft it up, but again, 5 mins later you will see the settled in to that line again! So i gave up and go out there and look for something won't settle in my fine line as easy as this product. I wish it work for me, because the color matched me perfectly and not much good peachy corrector out there for me to choose.

Liquid -Lancome - Teint Miracle

I used to have very oil skin, but now I am combination. I can’t use this when I was very oil. Because it will look grassy after few hrs applied. So I left it in my bottom draw and never touch it. Until recently, for some reason, my foundation made my skin peeling around my mouth area and dry up after 4 hrs applied. I switched around with all my foundation in my draw and to see which one won’t make me peel (Nars sheer glow, YSL Tenit Resist, Lancome Teint Idole, Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere, Chanel Perfection ect..). None of them work! But the ones in my draw are mainly for oily skin, so I can’t complain. I end up have to use TM or BB cream. They work great! But I still want a foundation that WORKS for my skin. So one day I went to lancome counter and spoke to the SA, she reminds me of this foundation. I went home and found it in the bottom of my draw and started using it. I would said it’s my HG foundation now. I was surprised the lasting power and the finish. It last me from almost 8 hrs. I can use brush or finger to apply, and no matter what I used, no cakey face. It gives me semi-mat finish, which I love. The most wonderful thing is it can evenly cover my dry patches but not made it look worse. And it looks so nature after few mins applied. My mom and husband can’t even tell I had foundation on! They just keep asking me if I buy any super expense high end brand skin care lol.

Shampoo -LUSH - BIG

I have very fine hair, very straight no maintenance needed at all. I would say I like it enough to repurchase it, but not totally in love with it. I wash my hair every day, even with this product I will do. It gave me lots of volume after I blow dry in the morning. But later on afternoon around 3pm my hair starts getting a bit oily, but still better than I use other shampoo from drugstore. So that a huge improvement for me. But I still need to wash my hair every morning, because once I woke up in the morning my hair looks and feels very grassy, if I don’t wash them my scalp will be very itchy. Even BIG is made for oily hair, but didn’t solve my oily scalp. Well it still gives a good deep clean for scalp. After I this product, I noticed my hair grow much faster and healthier. Even my husband noticed my hair look much shinier and grow faster. For deep clean and volume I will repurchase this product again.

Crème -Chanel - Vitalumiere Hydra (Moist Radiance Emulsion Compact)

I have never use cream foundation, so after I found out this foundation I want to try so bad. But it’s Chanel, pricy stuff. I love most of the Chanel foundation, so I do trust the brand (For the price, it better be good! LoL!) After one week of use, I would say I love it! I have Combination skin, and this spring got me really bad allergy, and I got very very dry skin from the medication. When I first try the foundation it was horrible, because my dry, flaky skin. It made my dry patches look 10 times worse. If you have dry flaky skin, this foundation won‘t work for you at all. My skin got recovered from Lancome Visionnaire and Cetaphil Cream (life saver both products, even the Lancome cost arms and legs). I went back with this foundation, it gave me a wonderful cream foundation experiences. I applied this with a dam buffing brush, and it gave me airbrush finish. I got a good 6-7 hrs wearing with this product. After I applied the foundation I will let it set for good 15 mins before setting powder. It felt like a cream to powder, but it does have the “foundation feeling” though out the day, but it wasn’t heavy feeling. I guess I will save this for winter time. I am a touch darker than NC 25, and using Beige 30. It match almost perfectly match for me. It’s a good foundation for normal skin. In my option its better for winter time to keep skin hydrated, but a bit too much for summer use.

My HG make up brushes! super soft, easy to clean. I am using the buffing brush everyday for my foundation. It blend like a dream, gives me almost airblush finish. I picked up all these brushes from Ulta, After I tried this set, I went back and brought all other brushes. There are few not avilable in the store. I will purchase them online from Ulta for sure!

I didn’t like it when I first got it. The SA told me to I can use on top of foundation or under. I tried both, and it didn’t work for me at all. I had some dry patches on my cheeks and nose area. After I applied the primer, the dry patches accentuate so much on my face, and after I applied powder foundation it looked very very caky. It has the same affect applied after foundation (powder or liquid). So I left it at the bottom of my draw and didn’t touch it until I started using mineral foundation. My skin more toward to normal side now (before was oily with lots of dry patches, a huge improvement), with oily T-zone. I found it really help on hiding my pores and no more dry flaky weird looking skin. When I use powder foundation or mineral foundation my pores are very visible. I put the primer before the foundation. Now it looks flawless. I am still not a huge fan of this primer. Because it seems make my oil production fast throughout the day. But for on the go, I would recommend it.

I have special feeling with this product. I think I only used this alone for 2-3 times at night. I love the soft, smooth feeling of my skin after I applied. But I got a feeling if I use it at day time. My skin will get oily faster. After 3 days used, I bought the Turbo Booster C powder from Philosophy, and mixed with this serum (2 pumps), and only use them in the morning. It turned out AMINZING!!!!!! Totally in love with the serum and the powder, working perfectly together! I have combination skin, got some dry patches on cheeks but very oily T-zone. After 2 months used, my skin is brighter and much smoother. No more dry patches and much less oil on my skin. I don’t know how this serum works alone by itself. Because I haven’t used it long enough to see any result. But I love it with the vitamin C powder. I am 100% sure I will repurchase. Even I want to try different serum, but I would purchase this one for back up for sure.

I had a high hope for Clinquie product. My sister told me their stuff are nature not harsh to skin ect..But i didn't like it at all. I purchased the 3 steps system with cleaner and toner during X-mas when they had that promotion going on (end up I hate all 3 of them). I have Combination skin, very oily T-zones, and dry patches on cheeks. I was hopping the lotion would balance my skin a bit. But it make it worse, my whole face became a shinny, oily ball within 1 hr after I applied the lotion. No matter what I did, my face just keep getting those oily (I blot almost every hr, and powder foundation.). I went home after to work and completely washed my face. I think I used 5 times...then I gave up. The FULL SIZE bottle still sitting somewhere in my house, but I prefer not touch it again.

Eye Makeup Remover -Trader Joe's - Spa 100% Pure Jojoba Oil

My HG product! I have used whole bottle already, its my eye makeup remover, face makeup remover, extra booster for my face/body moisturizer. It work amazing! And love love love the price! (How can I complaining $6-$7???!!!). I mixed the oil and water (half & half) in to a small bottle as my eye make up remover (I mixed very small amount tho, it could last me about 3-4 days, then I mixed some more for fresh ones). Shake it up then put on cotton pad to remove all make up from my face and eyes. It remove 90% of make up but leave my skin feel nice and soft without any drying my face. Then my Mia 2 will take care the rest of the make up on my face when I am in shower. For moisturizer, I put body lotion on my back, legs and arms first. then wait around 5 mins I put very very small amount of jojoba oil on top of the lotion. My body used to very very itchy and dry during winter, even after I put lotion on. by doing that, it feels like seals the moist on my skin. Then my skin would feel moist, soft and no itchier! It effect last me around 2-4 days without reapply any lotion, but I am sure my skin will feel better if I apply lotion daily on my body. I really love this oil. It has changed my skin condition. It ‘s effected and cheap! I am sure I would repurchase again.

I would say I love this product. I have been used it for almost 2 weeks now, and I see visible result with it. My skin produce MUCH less oil throughout the day ( I have very oil T zone). Before I used the powder, I need to blot at less 3 -4 times at work, and my foundation usually melted down around 1pm during lunch time (I applied my make up at 8am in the morning). After I started using this powder I noticed I didn’t need to blot AT ALL. My make up looks very fresh until 6pm DAILY. I apply 1 scoop of these powder mixed with my serum and applied on my face every morning, then my day cream and make up ect….after I applied the serum , I felt my face a little burring and itchy. The feeling will be gone within 30 second. I am not sure if the oil control happen on anybody, but it happened on my skin. At first it dried my skin for a bit, but after one week, my dry patches have gone and leave very smooth, soft surface. I will repurchase it again once I finish this bottle.

Looks like this is the hate or love product. For me, I love it! It works on my red cheeks and even out my skin tone. I just finished my first bottle, now I am on my 2nd one. My mon and my husband started notice my skin tone improved after 2 weeks of this product. My cheeks always have some red spot here and there. Usually if I can't even cover them up with full coverage foundation. As now my redness almost gone completely. My mom said my skin look much brighter. I notice my skin dry flake was 90% gone after 3 weeks of use. Its almost my HG product....but it didn't reduce my pores even after a whole bottle, And it's cost a lot! $84 plus taxes really cost a leg and a arm.

Love this foundation! Love it ! I have VERY oily skin and this can last me up to 5-6 hrs without touch up (with set powder in the morning). It has mid-full coverage, easy to apply with my fingers and brush. It also smooth out my some of my dry patch on my chin for a bit. I think this foundation is great for summer use. Light weight and make my skin stay fresh.

I wish I would love this foundation, but I really dont. I found the prefect matching color for my skin tone. But this foundation is very hard to blend. I tried my all kind of foundation brush and my fingers, nothing work. It gave me pretty nice coverage after applied. But it will melt down after 3 hours I applied this foundation on my face. Well I have very oily skin so that was the worest case for me. I end up returned it.
