Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Lipstick - #1 Nude Beige

I finally purchased this lipstick after longing for it for months and to be honest, it did not perform as well as i expected it to. The color in the tube was beautiful (a pinky nude shade) and the texture while applying it was very smooth and creamy. But the bad thing was that it accentuated all the lines on my lips and make it look uneven and cakey. My lip color is quite pigmented so not sure if this was why. Also, it felt very moisturizing when i first put it on but after a couple hour, i can feel my lips drying out. Even with Lipbalm underneath. The only way that i was able to wear this was to apply a little gloss over it to smooth it out. Maybe i will check out the other colors to see if they are the same but after testing this one out, i don't think they are worth $30+ in my opinion.

Oh, how i love this blush duo! It's the perfect color on my NC25 skin tone and i am dying to find another backup!The combination of the peach color & shimmer gives off such a beautiful healthy glow! It applies very smooth and I've been using it so much that i can almost see the bottom of the pan! If you have fair to medium skin tone, i say give this a try! You will not be disappointed!

My favorite lip balm!! I seriously cannot live without this stuff. Some people complain about the stickiness but that is what i love most about it. The more sticky it is, the longer it lasts. It hydrates and moisturizes my lips like no other and because of how sticky it is, it makes my lips look very glossy without having to apply gloss. So for me, it's a two-in-one deal! Although i do have to say it IS a little pricey for a small tube of CLEAR balm but so worth it. I have also tried the tinted ones and love them as well but i use the clear one more because i also put them on at night when i go to sleep. I also wear them under lipsticks and my lips are never dry! Must-have!

This is my new favorite makeup item! The perfect pink/nude color for my lips. On me it is almost similar to my favorite lipstick, 3N, and I love it so much i bought a back up! It pretty much feels like lipstick in a liquid version. Goes on smooth but is not sticky nor glossy. Long lasting and does not dry out my lips! I also love the long slim tube it is packaged in. Can't wait to try the other colors!

HG Lipstick! Finally a pink nude lipstick that doesn't wash me out. I'm so in love with this that i bought 2 backups. I would say that this is very similar to 15 minutes lipstick except that this is more sheer and feels very nice on the lips! If you prefer a more opaque color, you can definitely layer it on. Beautiful either way and now my search for the perfect pink nude is finally over! For reference, i'm a NC25, EDM Golden Light, Alima N3/W3) I also have a picture of this in my gallery.

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Shimmer - Other Worldly

One of my top 3 blushes (alongside Fluerry & Sunbasque)! Beautiful shimmery gold blush. I usually lightly apply this over my MAC golden bronzer and it gives me a beautiful sunkissed glow, no chunky shimmer/glitter. Perfect for summer. NC25-30 skintone

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

I recently got a sample of this and have been using it for over a week. So far so good but not the best. The coverage is medium and i love the way it looks after i have applied it but it didn't control my oil well. My face was shiny within an hour. I am a NC25-30 and #40 was a perfect match for me. Maybe i'll try it again when the weather is cooler and see how it works but until then, i will just stick to MMU for the summer. Pros: Good coverage, Great color match and did not cause my sensitive skin to break out Cons: Might be a bit too heavy for summertime use, didn't control my oil and expensive ($34)

Makeup Brushes -Alima - Foundation Brush 25

I got an email from Alima saying that they have a few brushes to sell to those that have been on their waiting list and i was super excited that i was one of them. I finally got it today and and WOW it really is amazing! It is everything that i've expected it to be. What a difference it makes in applying mineral powder! I've used MAC 187 brush but it wasn't dense enough and just didn't apply the way i wanted to. I also tried Essence of Beautys Kabuki brush and although it works okay, it was rough on my very sensitive skin and it also shed ALOT (what a waste of $10). I can say that this is my HG brush! It applys/blends mineral powder like a dream and my foundation has never looked better! I can see myself using this to apply bronzers/blushes as well so i will definitely purchase another one when it becomes available again. A must have for all MMU users! EDIT: Took a VERY long time to dry after washing it!

Great color for summer! This lipstick is a peachy pearl color with silver sparkles. I love how it goes on smooth and silky and makes my lips feel moisturized but I can do without the sparkles as im not too fond of sparkles on my lips. I will definitely purchase more of these but in the cream formula.

I love this pigment! Beautiful champagne gold with sparkles that compliments my brown eyes. I used this along with innuendo and bronze eyeshadow today and its the perfect quick everyday look that brightens up my face. The texture is a bit glittery but not as chunky as some other ones such as lily white etc. Very versatile color and i plan on using this as an highlighter as well. Also, looks amazing when used wet!

The perfect summer color! This color looks bright in the tube but goes on a sheer beautiful pink with silver sparkles that really brightens up my NC25 skintone. I'm not too fond of the sparkles but love love love the color!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Relaxing

This is one of my favorite eyeshadows! On my lazy days, i always find myself reaching for this one and it really makes my brown eyes pop. I like to apply this all over my lid with browns or purples in my crease and line with graphic brown fluidline. My all time favorite eyeshadow is Twillery from the inventive eyes quad and this is almost similar to it. So of course i had to get a backup!

This is my favorite fluidline! Beautiful green with gold pearl! I love using this as a base underneath gold eyeshadows. It is very similar to sweet sage but much more darker and prettier! A must have for brown eyed girls! I even have a back up!

This lipstick is a nude color that's a tad bit darker than hug me lipstick. Goes on smooth and feels wonderful. Not a very unique color IMO but a great neutral color lipstick to have if you don't already have hug me.
