I'm a little young for wearing lipstick on a daily basis, so my mom bought this for us to share. This is the PERFECT nude lipstick for me. My lips naturally have a pink color, and I always have problems with lipsticks/lipglosses being too light for my lips & looking very awkward. The color for this goes perfectly on my lips. It's just a smudge lighter than my natural color and looks great. I'm asian with a pink-ish undertone.
My mom gave me this eyeliner, and I love it. It's long lasting, has smooth texture, and can smudge easily to give a softer look.
I turned to this as a cheaper alternative to my Chanel Kohl liner. I like the intensity of the black, but the staying power of this liner was not as good as I hoped... it's not terrible, but after 3 hours, the intense black smudged into a dark grey color.
Treatments -Ole Henriksen - roll on blemish attack

I typically don't break out, other than an occasional pimple here or there, my skin is pretty much pimple-free. My skin(specfically my forehead) suddenly broke out a few months ago, and I bought this product after being fed up with my acne. I have to say, this is set has cleared up my acne faster than anything else I've tried. In less than a week I could see results. I don't find it over-drying at all. I really despise the packaging though...
This was included in the Blemish Attack set I purchased from Sephora. I'm not much of a face mask type of person, but I really liked using this mask. I used the entire jar of it, but I don't think I'll be purchasing this anytime in the near future (it's quite pricey). It calmed my acne down, kept oily-ness to a minimal, and kept my skin feeling smooth.
This isn't an amazing mascara. After reading the reviews about it, it disappointed me a bit. It doesn't hold a curl very well, and it doesn't provide much volume. The difference it provides isn't dramatic; very natural. When I tried it for the first time, I was shocked by how much it clumps (on the comb end), but after using it a few times, I got the hang of it. One thing I'm very pleased about this mascara is that it doesn't flake. I was in a hot room for 4 hours and it didn't run off onto my skin at all. For it's price, I might buy this product again. It's a lot cheaper than Shu Uemura and Diorshow.
I'm not sure if it's because of this product or not, but my skin cleared up completely. I had a few very small blemishes, but now my skin is completely smooth. I like how the grains are small.
At first, this mascara disappointed me a bit.. Especially after buying it on a whim. This mascara clumps... a lot, but if you get the hang of it, clumps aren't really a big problem. It flakes a bit towards the end of the day, but not too much. Compared to other mascaras, it does an amazing job at providing volume and holding a curl. I would buy this mascara again, if not for the price.
Cleansers -Shiseido - White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam

I bought this a few days ago, and I should probably wait a few weeks until I write a review. I love how thick this cleanser is, just a little small dot is just enough for my entire face and neck. The after-feeling feels like my Laneige star white cleanser though... I wouldn't call it "dry", but its not smooth. It hasn't broken me out yet, so I'm definately giving this product a few more weeks to determine if its to my liking or not. Overall, it's a pretty good cleanser. Wasn't expecting that squeeky clean feeling.
Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Mineral Face Powder

This is the first mineral powder I've ever bought so I can't say its the best. I just tried it today, and I'm really liking the results. It evens out my skin tone nicely. I'm asian, fair skin, and translucent light is perfect for me. It gives me that smooth and matte look. As for coverage, its pretty sheer. I like this better than applying tinted moisturizer... Then again, this is my first time trying this. Like everyone said, the brush is crap, the flipping is annoying... but otherwise, its a really good product for its price.
I stole this mascara from my mom, and I really liked it. Compared to the previous mascara I was using (Elizabeth Arden Volumizing.. something), this one wasn't as flaky. It lengthens my eyelashes very well, and it gives quite a natural look, which was what I'm going for. It doesn't hold curls well though.
Just recently bought my second bottle of this. Seems like the ingredients have changed a bit since '07...I really like this cleanser. It helped clear up my acne when I first started using it, but after a while, it wasn't as effective anymore ): I have combination/oily skin so it really helps in terms of oil control. Its not over drying, and doesn't irritate my skin.
Just used this for the first time today. Initially, I wasn't looking for anything whitening, but ended up buying this- so I'm not expecting anything from it. The scent is decent. I don't think its too strong at all. Its a bit drying, not really. Its okay.
Moisturizers -Shiseido - White Lucent Protective Moistuizer SPF 16

I actually really like this product. I usually hate moisturizers, but I decided to give this a try. I'm quite pleased with it. I'm on vacation and I'm walking outside all day, and this(with spf40 sunscreen) still lightens my skin. I don't have a yellow undertone though, but it still works for me. I love using this in the morning- makes me look so much more awake. The bottle is pretty, but I would prefer something that you can squeeze out or something.
Treatments -Aveeno - CLEAR COMPLEXION CORRECTION TREATMENT [DISCONTINUED]
xchristineee 8/22/2009 8:22:00 AM
I bought this with hopes that its would be really good because its Aveeno. Haha. It absorbs well though, that's one thing I really liked. It was useful on small blemishes, but for the bigger ones... not so useful. I find it more efficient on acne scars rather than acne blemishes
