Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Half Baked Eyeshadow
xchavirax 2/25/2012 6:16:00 PM
I have this shadow in my naked palette. It's also in the naked 2 (but I don't own that one.) It's most definitely the color I use the most in the whole palette. I like it all over the lid by itself, or with a darker color like smog in the crease. I find that the golden color along with the shimmer in this shadow makes my eyes pop like no other. If I run out I will definitely repurchase. I recommend this mostly for people with brown or green eyes :D

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Studio Minty Lip Gloss
xchavirax 12/26/2011 1:02:00 AM
I have this in Chicago, and while most people complain about the taste/smell, I want to eat it every time. It smells like dental floss but tastes like a super sweet mint :) Chicago is a goldish color, with copper glitter :) it doesn't look that way on my lips, more of a light, MLBB color. This glosses are very sheer and not sticky at all.

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush Peachy Keen
xchavirax 12/26/2011 12:51:00 AM
I've only tried Drugstore blushes all my life, and let me say this is the most pigmented one I have tried. Much more than Covergirl cheekers, which run for about 75 cents over the $3 this one costs for less product, (4.75g vs 3g) AND they all have their own little mirrors! Also, no noxzema scent :) COLOR: peachy brownish with small goldish undertone flecks. Very flattering, but very sheer, almost natural looking. PACKAGING: Sleek, sophisticated, not bulky Buy again? Yes :)

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush in Twinkle Pink
xchavirax 12/26/2011 12:40:00 AM
This review is for TWINKLE pink, not to be confused with TICKLED pink. Moving on now... I've only tried drugstore blushes all my life, and let me say this is the most pigmented one I have tried. Much more than Covergirl cheekers, which run for about 75 cents over the $3 this one costs for less product, (4.75g vs 3g) AND they all have their own little mirrors! Color: A super pigmented Bright, fun pink with obvious specks of gold glitter in the pan, but not as much on the face. I'd wear this at night or maybe to a party, but this is probably not a let's-go-get-some-milk-at-the-grocery-store color unless you're super bold :) This is probably my least favorite and I own: Candid coral, peachy keen, and tickled pink with blushing rose and pink passion on the way... Packaging: Like Nars, Sleek, with a lil window and a nice rectangular mirror for your viewing purposes. Buy again? Yes, for my I'm-feeling-disco evenings :)

Eyes -E.L.F. - Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter
xchavirax 12/26/2011 12:16:00 AM
Okay, here goes.! PROS: covered my dark circles, I have this in medium for undereye, and light for the nasty redness around my nose (ewwww) It gives a nice meduim coverage that can be layered. very nice! The packaging has a nice suede-y ish plastic feel to it :) Cons: the "light refracting particles" on the white side are actually, glitter. What I define as glitter: particles that can be seen on your face, outside of the sun, from about a foot's distance. Yes ideed, it was glitter. It still might make a good highlight. the packaging breaks and cracks at the middle if you twist a little too much, so be careful. I'd recommend this product to someone with light dark circles or redness who doesn't so much need the light refracting particles :)

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Lip Conditioning Balm in Mellow Melon
xchavirax 12/26/2011 12:08:00 AM
I'm in the middle about this balm. I love that it gives a nice color and that it has SPF. I also love how it makes my lips look, but it gives me the weirdest burn on my lips.It can also be a little sticky, which I don't like a whole lot. As I said the color is beautiful! the packaging is cool, but a little bulky. It makes it looks like it has much more than it does, which by the way is 7.5 grams. It sells for $3 on their website. RECOMMEND: For people without sensitive lips who want a lip balm with a more opaque color than most.

Blush -E.L.F. - Cream Blush in Heartbreaker
xchavirax 12/26/2011
Let me start off by saying this is the first cream blush I have ever tried. It doesn't feel like a cream, not like cream liners or cream anything I have tried. It's more whipped and fluffy, like a mousse, or brand new playdough. The expiration date says12 months and the price is $6, while before it was $3 to clear up any confusions with other reviews. Sadly, the amount isn't listed on the box so I can't let you know even after researching. This blush claims to have a "cream to powder finish" and is oil free. The directions DO tell you to apply with fingers, so I'm sick of reviews complaining it didn't work with a brush -_- I have very dry skin, and this product gave it a natural glow that didn't look dry, even with a powder blush layered over it. It does have a very natural finish unless you use more of it, (therefore it is build-able.) It does last long, and also helps the lasting power of your cream blushes. I very much like this product, I'm just disappointed the price got hiked up to twice as much. The packaging is a little square and bulky IMO, makes it look way bigger than it is... COLOR: Less orangey than the internet pic, a little more nude :)

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. III
xchavirax 12/23/2011 1:19:00 AM
This is probably my favorite book of shadows, all the others contain too many neutrals, and I already have UD naked and neutrals from the fun and dangerous palettes. That being said, the shadows are very pigmented and true to color, and extremely smooth (like butter baby!). The only thing I'd probably complain about are the glitter shades, like Uzi and Midnight cowboy rides again. I could never use Uzi as a highlight because all the glitter would look super weird on my browbone, and the glitter shades UD makes have tons of fallout!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
xchavirax 11/23/2011 11:04:00 PM
I Hated This Product At First, It Brought Out Patches In My Dry Skin and Looked Awful. I Tried It today Over Hard candy's Primer, And It Looked MUCH Better.! Not As Drying on my skin. However, I Wouldn't Repurchase Again Because I Still Have Dryness Around My Nose, Where Skin Is Peeling, Etc. I Just Wanna Finish This Bottle :P Packaging Is A 2 For Me, I'd Like It to Have A Pump. Update: after a while, dry patches come back. This foundation is a burden to me
