Blush -Hard Candy - Blush Crush Baked Blush in Pin Up
wwheeatbread 1/13/2010 1:07:00 AM
I love this color and feel as if it's a really unique blush. On my fair skin, it's a bronze/pink/rosey color that isn't too orangey. The pigmentation is great for a blush with a $7.00 price tag. This product has better pigmentation than most MSF's and lack the chunky glitter and disco-like sheen. This is my first hard candy blush and I will be going back for more!

Lipstick -MAC - Close to Real - In High Def
wwheeatbread 10/13/2009 10:28:00 PM
Close to Real is one of the lipsticks released by the In High Definition that came out this fall. This lipstick caught my eye because I'm a big fan of nude lips. I also was interested because I had read reviews that this lipstick was more like a frost than like a lustre. I usually hate the lustre finish because I have pigmented lips and they hardly show up on my lips. I'd describe this color as a light pinky peach, almost as if Myth and Fleshpot had a sheerer, frostier baby together. Pros about this lipstick: -A very light color that suits people with light skin tones well (I'm NW15 for reference) -Definitely more pigmented than most nude lustres are. Cons: -Limited Edition -Has the tendency to settle into the cracks of your lips (I find this can be fixed by wearing a gloss over). I do quite like this lipstick, but I admit it takes some work and your lips must be extremely smooth prior to application. I bought two so I doubt I'll ever run out, but if I ever did I'd probably buy another because I do like the color a lot.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Creme d'Nude
wwheeatbread 1/19/2009 1:19:00 AM
This is a really great nude l/s for someone who doesn't want to go too overboard on the concealer lips. It's basically a light beige color with a little bit of peach and the slightest pink tint. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull this color off considering I am so light (NW20ish) but I find that I really like creme d'nude with my skin tone. I love the cremesheen formula because I find it to be very moisturizing and relatively long lasting considering it's so soft and creamy. I REALLY suggest exfoliating your lips before you put it on or else it will just draw more attention to how dry your lips are. Wearing a nude lipliner with creme d'nude helps also, considering how creamy the formula is. I think this is an extremely wearable nude and when I run out I will buy another.

Lipstick -LORAC - Cream Lipstick in Babydoll
wwheeatbread 12/22/2008 4:26:00 AM
Absolutely phenomenal. I've been searching for a lipstick like this for awhile. The color goes on just like it looks in the tube; if you want a very light, pinky-peach pout, this is the lipstick for you. Also, the formula is extremely creamy and moisturizing which is great for people who have dry lips. I don't know if I'd recommend this color for people with darker skin tones because it might wash them out considering how light the color is. I'm about an NW15-NW20 depending on the time of year and this color suits me very well. The lipstick looks awesome paired with NARS Turkish Delight and MAC Sugar Trance and I can imagine it looking great paired with other shades of pinky-nude lipgloss.

Bronzers -LORAC - Cheek Duo- Hot and Spicy
wwheeatbread 10/7/2008 9:52:00 PM
I loveeee this so much. I'm a very pale girl-- NW15-NW20 depending on the time of the year and I still find this blush and bronzer duo very wearable. The blush could be described as a coral-peach and is EXTREMELY pigmented. A little bit goes a long way as with most LORAC blushes. I lightly touch my blush brush to the color, pat it on my cheeks, and blend and I have a very healthy flush that looks as if I had just come in from the cold. I find that the bronzer matches the blush very well and looks very nice when paired with the blush; the bronzer is not too orangey for my cool skin and pink undertones. If you have a heavy hand I wouldn't necessarily suggest this or else you could potentially look like a clown. I am very satisfied with the pigmentation of this product and staying power is amazing; I don't have to touch up my blush/bronzer later in the day. I doubt I'd ever run out of the product, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Blush -LORAC - Powder blush in Desire
wwheeatbread 10/7/2008 9:45:00 PM
I absolutely LOVE this blush. I'm extremely fair with pink undertones and a NW15-NW20 and this is great for achieving a doll-like, pink flush. Obviously this is not going to look "natural" or as if you're not wearing makeup and a little bit of this goes a long way because it's so pigmented. Be careful and make sure you blend so you avoid looking overdone. For pink blush lovers, this is amazing. Staying power is also amazing; I usually have problems with mac blushes staying throughout the day but I never have to reapply this. This is potentially my new favorite blush.

Lipstick -MAC - Fun N Sexy- fafi collection
wwheeatbread 8/7/2008 4:37:00 AM
I LOVE this lipstick. I have another MAC glaze and this l/s is not nearly as gritty as it. The glitter in it really does not bother me. This color is so gorgeous in person... you have to see it to believe it. I'm really glad I got Totally It lipglass to go with the l/s, the l/g gives it and extra umph! I can imagine that I will be pretty sad the day I run out of this l/s.

Lip Gloss -NARS - Harlow
wwheeatbread 7/20/2008 2:12:00 PM
This is a very pigmented lip gloss. I would not recommend wearing this color alone; it seems impossible to pull off a beige almost violet color. Also, it seems as if this lip gloss has a very different consistency than the other two NARS lip glosses I own (Orgasm and Sunset Strip) and it isn't as moisturizing. I regret purchasing this lip gloss and I will be returning it to Sephora. NARS lip glosses really seem to be hit or miss.
