Misc Beauty Tools -Revlon - Precision Lash Adhesive

I always loved fake lashes. The part I hated most about them was putting them on. I watched dozens of tutorials, and read countless blogs on how to put on falsies, but what killed me the most was the application. No matter how long I waited after I applied the glue, my lash would slide all over my eye and ruin my eyeshadow and eyeliner. I wanted to give up. I saw this product in the drugstore and decided to give it a try. The applicator dispenses just the right amount of glue to one lash. Its formula appears to dry quickly and by the time you place the lash in the correct position, the glue is dry. This product makes putting on falsies easier, quicker, and less messy. Wonderful product! A must have if you enjoy wearing falsies, but hate the mess of traditional glue.
Hot chocolate for your face! This product provides the best tan and contour color (and has a delicious smell). You have to test the amount of product you put on your brush to make sure you are getting the perfect amount for your coloring. After you figure out that amount, it is smooth, contour, tan sailing after that. The color of this bronzer makes it look like I stepped off a yacht after tanning under the hot sun in some tropical location. A must have product!
I'm always on the search for a great nude color. This color is it! It is simultaneously white (without looking like white-out), beige-y nude, and the lightest of pinks. The streak free application makes this color so effortless to put on if you like to do your manicures at home. Two coats give a clean, chic look-- kind of like nude lingerie for your fingernails. Three coats is opaque bliss. So glad I have this color, and it's so good I would buy a backup!
Hate this product. The brush is too small and too firm. You have to dip into the product after each stroke because not enough product gets on the brush. Also, the product has the tendency to erase itself if you brush too much in one spot. Also, when my eye watered the product completely came off. I wouldn't waste my money on this product ever again.
I got a free sample of this through a Sephora reward. I heard so many good things about the Korres lip butters but could never justify buying such an expensive lip balm. The sample sold me. The guava smell is amazing and the texture is smooth and buttery. HERE'S THE MOST AMAZING ASPECT OF THIS PRODUCT FOR ME: It's a fantastic lip erase product! I have pigmented lips and I found it hard to wear nudes or light pinks without my lip pigmentation jacking up the color payoff. I put a slightly thick layer of the lip butter on my lips then applied a nude lipgloss and found that I finally got the true payoff I've been dying for for years. I've tried other "lip erase" type products and was very disappointed with the results. The lip butter keeps your lips moisturized and the balm is thick enough where layering it under lipstick and lipgloss won't lead to a big fat hot mess. THIS PRODUCT IS MY HG LIP ERASE BALM! Love it.
Primer/ Corrector -Skindinavia - Makeup Finishing Spray

I love this product! It makes powder products meld seamlessly into skin without causing oiliness at the end of the day. Tip! After spraying 4-5 pumps around face, take a blow dryer and dry your face. It helps to instantly set the spray and your makeup.
Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Anthelios SX Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15

Everyone, from beauty magazines to European beauty bloggers, rave about La Roche Posay and its superior SPF coverage. I finally found a bottle at CVS in a special display which carried 6 bottles, so I snapped one up and willingly payed its high price. I'm underwhelmed by it. I've been using it as a moisturizer, but it's so sticky. I thought it was because I was wearing a toner underneath, so I stopped wearing toner. Still sticky. I let it sink in for 10, 20, 30 minutes before putting makeup on. Still sticky. I expected more from such a hyped up product, but maybe I was expecting too much from all the hype. I will not repurchase. I will just have to find something out there that's better.
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

This product and UDPP are pretty much the same in my opinion. I like Shadow Insurance better because you know you are getting all the product out of the tube. It gives great lasting power to shadows and gel liners.
I bought this product because off Allure Magazines "Best of 2008" list. I'm not very fond of the smell-- it's a cross between lavender and fruit. However, if I have any sort of breakout this cleanser does a great job of whipping it into shape. I use it 2x a week to keep my skin blemish free. I'm on my second bottle because I love the results it gives even though the smell is funny to me.
This product's smell is really strong to me. It smells like a man's cologne in my opinion-- musky in a way. The consistency was all right, and it did leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. I also didn't like the pump because not much product came out in one pump. Needless to say, I am trying to use it up so I can purchase a cleanser I like better. I feel a cheaper cleanser would work just as well or even better than this product even if this product is purely organic.
This product is my HG powder. I was using Bare Minerals for a long time, but noticed that it made my face itchy. The itchiness wasn't unbearable, but I figured there was something in the product my skin wasn't too happy with. I wouldn't characterize my skin as sensitive-- I would say it was closer to oily/normal. In the afternoon, my skin would get shiny and Bare minerals didn't do much to absorb the oil. I happened to be talked into purchasing Hello...Flawless when I picked up a box of 10 at the Benefit counter. The powder is so finely milled and goes on very smoothly. I use a brush to get a light/medium coverage, but I know this stuff can be used with a sponge for full coverage. I've received many compliments on my skin from my friends. The powder really imparts a nice glow to the skin. I also don't have to use concealer with this product because you could use it as a concealer with a concealer brush. I would recommend this product to people who like powder foundations who are looking for medium coverage.
