Exactly same results as Smashbox photofinish and a LOT cheaper. I'll never buy smashbox primer again.

Great as an eye shadow base. I feel like I look more awake. No prob w/ creasing either. At $18, I think it's a bit expensive so I took one lippie.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Cream with Olive Oil

This smells great and is a good product to smooth on before flat ironing. I don't think it makes my hair particularly shiny though. I probably wouldn't buy this again b/c of the price. I prefer Kerastase Oleo Relax serum- also expensive but a better smoothing treatment for my dry hair.

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Satin 3 [DISCONTINUED]

I have been using this for years. I have dry, colored, coarse thick hair that I flat iron. This is the most moisturizing shampoo I've used. Love it. Gave it a 4 b/c of price. I buy it on ebay in the salon size for around $60 but it last 5-6 months.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength
ws33 7/27/2007 10:11:00 PM
I love this deo too! I live in the deep south-hot and humid every day 8 months out of the year. Since I had a baby a couple of years ago I have not been happy with any deo. I have felt a little damp once when wearing this but I think it was b/c I put my clothes on before letting it dry. It is more expensive than regular deo (I paid about 9 at Walgreen's and 7.99 at Target) but I believe it's worth it.

Scrubs -Unlisted Brand - Sugar
ws33 7/11/2007 11:58:00 PM
I make my own sugar scrub w the following: sugar olive oil aloe vera gel mint lemon or lime juice and zest It smells heavenly and I swear my skin GLOWs after I use this. It does look like a mess in the shower afterwards but it's worth it. If you make more than one 'serving' the leftovers need to be left in the the refrigerator. I make it for friends- they love it too! (variation- use kosher salt and rosemary in place of sugar and mint)

Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk

I have the wide version (1.5 inches I think). It works great on my thick, wavy coarse hair. It heats up in less than a minute. I do have problems w/ heat damage but this is probably due to coloring along w/ heat styling. I usually wash my hair at night and let it air dry. I flat iron in the morning 2 or 3 times a week. My stylist has a new babyliss that I'd like to try if I can find it on ebay (I had a 2 inch babyliss that I loved and after 3 years it conked out).

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Big Bang glossimer
ws33 7/10/2007 9:45:00 PM
I love the sheer coral/apricot/gold sparkly look it has on me (dark brown/blue/freckly tan). I don't like it layered w/ any of the lipsticks I've tried but I don't mind. It's alot easier to apply one product anyway. The package is gorgeous IMO. Love the way it looks in the tube but it goes on much more subtle. Expensive at $25 so I took off one point for that...this is the only glossimer I own and I plan to get more b/c I like this one so much.

Lip Gloss -Vincent Longo - Diamond Lip Gloss Bronze Capri

I just bought this today and love it. I got this one and Virgin Lux lip gloss in Appolo Gold. They look great layered together or alone. VLAG was not on here but....it is heaven. My new favorite. The smell is great...vanilla or something. VLAG looks beautiful alone-sheer gold. Love them both. Took off one lipstick for price.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara
ws33 7/8/2007 3:08:00 PM
Hmmm...I don't know exactly how I feel about this. I bought this a year ago and loved it...It made my short lashes long without clumping and did not dry out. Used a few other brands over the last several months and went back to Diorshow. This time it seems clumpier and dryer. Also harder to get off. Maybe a change in formula? I prefer the large brush and that seems to be the same...perhaps I just got one that had been on the shelf for a while? (purchased at sephora though so I doubt it)

Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Flush
ws33 7/8/2007 3:01:00 PM
I love this blush! I always have a problem w/ powder blushes breaking...I'm always dropping things. I use it on my lips too, just use my finger. I've had this since september and still have way more than half so I don't consider it expensive ($28). The color looks very natural on me- I have also seen it on girls with different coloring than me and it looks great on them too.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer
ws33 7/4/2007 11:58:00 PM
Makeup glides on, pores are smaller! Doesn't take much so a little lasts a long time...I first tried it w/ a sample from Sephora. It lasted a week. I think it will be worth the $ b/c it will last a while.
