Mascara -FairyDrops - Scandal Queen Mascara

I have to write an amazing review for this product. I had not discovered a mascara that would NOT SMUDGE on me ever, until I met this mascara. For reference, I've tried the Maybelline One-by-One and the Max Factor False Lash Effect and those both smudged terribly. I thought that there was nothing that could do the trick. I then tried Blinc Mascara and sure, this mascara did not smudge and it "tubed" my lashes but it did NOTHING for my lashes - no volume or length. Within this mascara are little black flecks that attach to your lashes every time you apply it. Thus, giving you both length and volume. This mascara IS expensive, but it is the only one that does NOT smudge, my biggest gripe. Being able to find a mascara that does not smudge with my oily lids that ALSO gives length AND volume -- don't know what more I could ask for.

Lip Treatments -RoC - Enydrial Lip Balm

There was a warehouse sale on Mother's day so i went in to find that these products were on sale for $2.99CAD. talk about a steal ! so i picked up 2 of these without knowing what they were and went home. The sale was at a place 15 mins walking distance and when i got home i immediately went on MUA to check out review for this product. 92% !!! so i went back and picked up 2 more just for good measure. ------ now onto the review of the actual product. i raved about lansinoh lanolin as a night treatment for my lips. that is an amazing product however when i wake up, i feel reaaally gross having it on my lips because it feels sticky and thick (perhaps im overapplying maybe but still). This product is unscented and the packaging although not the greatest gets the job done. the balm however is the thing to rave about. it leaves my lips feeling so incredibly moisturized. i had/have eczema on my lips and my lips have NEVER felt this smooth ever. the only time i recall having these soft lips would be BEFORE i had eczema. that being said, i am so incredibly thankful to mua for convincing me to get 4 of these. the lanolin was good but this product is AMAZING. easy to whip out in public, smear some on and be guaranteed amazing, soft, moisturized lips. if you feel you've tried all the balms out there like i have (chapstick, softlips, carmex, burt's bees, aveeno etc...) PLEASE give this a try. i'm convinced you'll like it. oh btw. there are 4.8g of product. this retails for approximately 7 bucks at SDM but it's completely worth the money. i would DEFINITELY repurchase again. 10000000 thumbs up ! edit: 1/2/11 -- I must say, I still enjoy this product after a year of purchasing. I've gone through more than 1 tube and what i can say is this. I use this exclusively at night time (or during the day when there is harsh canadian weather) and it works wonders. Still by far the best lip balm i've used to date. Only reason why i wouldnt use this normally is because it is a little thicker than most lipbalms (which provides amazing moisture to your lips). Used overnight, your chapped lips will wake up to moist and soft lips. It really does wonders. edit 6/2/12 -- I'm on my 3rd tube now and it still works great. This works miracles on cracked, BLEEDING feet as well, cuts which are several layers of skin deep. Applied overnight and the cut was healed and it no longer bled the next day. Goes to show you how amazing this lipbalm actually is. The reason this works is because it promotes new skin growth, making it the perfect lip balm. I would not apply this during the day (quite thick) unless it was an emergency. During the day, I'd choose to use one by Jack Black. However, when you need a lip balm you can count on to work some magic, this would be the one.

AMAZING PRODUCT !!!!!! thank you SO MUCH mua for telling me about this great product for my lips ! it has done wonders and i cannot thank you guys enough. who would've thought to use nipple cream on your lips? i was quite embarrassed to walk into the store and purchase this but WHAT A CHARM. this works WONDERS for your lips. no matter how chapped, how much they were bleeding, how torn, how eczema-flushed they were, i would apply a liberal amount on my lips overnight and i would wake up to nice, full, soft lips the next day after taking it off and rubbing my finger over it (to "exfoliate" and get rid of dead/dry skin). this product is AMAZING !!!!!!! the container for this is pretty annoying though. I bought the squeeze bottle version and once you get out some product, the product will not go back down into the container like a cream or lotion would. Hence, some product may get on your lid. I just put squeezed out a nice amount into a little jar and have been using it from the jar since (so i will not dirty the lid of the product). the price of this product is actually VERY CHEAP if you calculate it per gram. it contains 50g of product for about $10 at walmart here in canada. that averages to about 20 cents per GRAM. whereas regular chapsticks that run for $4 give you approx. 5g of product = 80 cents per gram. which means this product is FOUR TIMES CHEAPER than a regular chapstick. please get this. it's AMAZING !!!! EDIT may 17/2009 - this product is great as a night treatment but you could never wear this during the day. even at night when i wake up, i feel gross having put this on. it has a "sticky" texture and feels really THICK on my lips. that being said, it is still a good product to use if there is no alternative. a product i recommend over this would be the RoC enydrial balm (search lip treatements under RoC). i have moved on to this product and i LOVE it. i'll never sway =]

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Shine City

Firstly, I'd like to say that i haven't bought a lipgloss in AGES because I have not found the perfect gloss. Some criteria I look for in a gloss: - nice sheer gloss - doesnt smell like CRAP (as in i dont care if there's a scent or not as long as it doesnt smell like it's gone bad) - isn't sticky. Now let me begin with the gloss. I was first attracted to this gloss because of its packaging. it is SO cute. it looks very similar to chanel's glossimer. very chicc. I also love the way this gloss closes. There is this subtle "click" sound which makes you KNOW that the glass is locked into place. The gloss itself is a very unique formula. I can't say that this gloss isn't sticky. This gloss WILL stick to your hair if it is blown in the wind however, it does not have that sticky tacky feeling. When you press your lips together, they will not stick together however you will be able to feel that there is gloss there. make sense ? The shade itself is sheer. As others have mentioned, this is a great gloss to put over a lipstick to give yourself a nice shine on the lips. This gloss is a VERY sheer pink with tiny silver particles however the texture is very smooth. You do not feel any of the particles on your lips. That being said, it is also very hard to see that LITTLE glitter on your lips. In fact, i'd like to say it doesnt show up much at all. One thing weird about the gloss however was the fact that the rack i went had several shades of this gloss left and each shade was slightly different. All of them had not expired yet and were unopened. I picked the tube with the most pink in it however many of them are just a clear gloss with VERY LITTLE silver shimmer. This product does not have a taste when applied to the lips. The smell of this product reminds me a bit of cotton candy & vanilla mixed together but it is VERY SUBTLE. you'd need to struggle to smell the lipgloss. I live in Canada and regularly these lipglosses run for $10.49 at shoppers. Probably around $6 at walmart but dont quote me. I got mine on sale for $3.99 and at this price, I would have to say it is a good deal. Would I purchase this at full price? No only because I know it can be cheaper otherwise, this gloss is totally worth it. Oh by the way, there's 5.9ml of product in here. More than a mac lipglass if you were wondering :)

Lip Treatments -Aveeno - Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner with SPF 15

I don't understand why so many users are giving this product such a bad rating. At this point in time, I should mention that throughout this whole ordeal, my doctor told me that I have eczema on my lips so these results may vary. I have tried many lip balms (chapstick, softlips, life (SDM brand), smackers etc...) and none of them have really worked well on me. I then tried this Aveeno lipbalm. AMAZING RESULTS. Pro's: -great smell (vanilla smell) - smooth and easy application - a uni-sex appearance- guys and girls can use this - SPF15 Con's: - a bit expensive for a lip balm (I live in Canada and it retails for $5.99 at shoppers) - somewhat waxy formula WARNING: DO NOT TWIST THE WHOLE BALM UP TO TEST HOW MUCH YOU HAVE LEFT. YOU CANNOT TWIST THE BALM BACK DOWN. otherwise, this is my HG balm. I'm currently on my 2nd balm. Hope you guys check this out ! I definitely recommend it. EDIT April 4/2009 - I changed the rating from a 5 -> 3.5. I don't feel it does the job well enough. In fact, I have stopped using this lipbalm because I have found a better night treatment to use. nipple cream - lansinoh lanolin. before you judge, search it up on mua because many people have also gotten great results !
