Mascara -Max Factor - 2000 Calorie Mascara

This is officially my favourite mascara. I am not blessed to have thick lashes. My lashes are non existent and point straight to the ground, so finding a good formulation for my lashes is a must. I love this mascara, as it not only defines my lashes it, but also gives it the volume it needs, because of the curved shape wand. It doesn't leave me with panda eyes and that's coming from someone who rubs her eyes constantly. This product is cheap and much better quality than other brands I have tried. Buy Again= YES

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #219 Pencil Brush

My opinion is part of the minority, as I am probably the only person who doesn't like this brush. I bought this brush under the impression of all the hype from YouTube and other blogs alike. It took me a couple of uses to realise that this wasn't a good brush. This brush, to this day, is one of the most expensive brushes I own, unfortunately the price doesn't justify the quality of the brush. The bristles are so scratchy, it has irritated my skin, making me resort to other methods, such as using my finger to smudge out liner. However, it is a sturdy brush, and it is dense, allowing for easy blending of colour. Verdict however: Will not ever buy again.

Makeup Brushes -Louise Young - Large foundation brush

This is a really good foundation brush, probably the best one out there. One may be overwhelmed by its size but it is tapered so it can go into the crevices of the face. It is synthetic so its great for liquid foundations and the application leaves no need for blending mainly because the bristles are so soft and the brush is firm and dense. The only down side is that the brush is heavy and if you relax the hand the brush would naturally tilt. Overall it is a brush that should be a staple in anyone's kit.

CD/Books/Movies -Unlisted Brand - Rae Morris Makeup The Ultimate Guide

I got this on Book Depository. May I say this is one of the best makeup books you will ever find. The tips here are useful and helpful and the photography is absolutely stunning. many of the looks are gorgeous however the practicality of them is debatable. This is well worth the money and such an informative book and goes through the common mistakes most people go through when applying makeup. the book is so easy to understand, it makes one want to be a makeup artist at the end.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - concealer brush

I love ecotools. It is a great starters set for a beginner but this concealer brush does nothing. it is so soft that it cannot pick up any product. i tried using powdered and cream concealer and it doesn't apply very well.

Liquid -Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua

I was going on trying makeup and I have to say this by far, had the best finish, texture and consistency I have ever come across. It gives a dewy finish with a light coverage. One has to shake the bottle before use and then apply with a foundation brush. The only put off the product is the smell. I really hope Chanel gives a non-scented foundation because for me it wasn't nice. The price of this product was EXTREMELY expensive. It cost 77 AUD, I looked everywhere else like the US where they only pay 40 USD. I don't know why there is such a price gap between the two. I also think I would run out of this foundation quickly. I don't where foundation often and I don't know how much exactly is left but it feels like it's half full. I really don't know if you are getting 77 dollars worth in that tiny bottle.
