Powder -Bare Escentuals - Matte Foundation spf 15

I never thought I would ever like a Bare Escentuals foundation but I have to admit that I do love the matte version. My skin is extremely oily but this foundation keeps that problem (almost) under control. My skin does get a little shiny after a couple of hours of wear but it in a way that is actually quite nice and acceptable to me. With other foundations I often feel that my pores are getting clogged the minute I apply them but I really feel my skin can breathe when I wear this. It doesn't break me out which is rare because most other foundations and even moisturizers do. The coverage is light to medium and that is why I use a good concealer underneath it. However, the fact that this is not a full coverage foundation does create a more natural look. The only con is the price as far as I'm concerned but I will definitely buy this again.

Fragrances -Lancome - O de Lancome

This is a lovely scent. It's fresh, light and zingy with a hint of spiciness. My ideal fragrance. The only thing is that I don't actually own it. I can't bring myself to spend more than 43 euro on a relatively small bottle of edt. Fragrances should be more affordable than they are now!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Endless Lipstick in Extreme Spice

I have this in severel colours including Extreme Spice. I can honestly state that I love these lipsticks. They definitely last longer than regular lipsticks, they are creamy instead of drying and I like the colour range.I am not even interested in lipsticks that are not long lasting so this is the perfect choice for me. I can't think of a single con at the moment and I will be buying them again and again.

Powder -Pur Minerals - Pressed Powder Foundation

I was very enthusiastic about this foundation after I had just purchased it and I still think it has some good qualities. The coverage is great for a mineral foundation, it comes in a wide range of colours and it's easy to apply. The only reason why I will not buy this again is that it made my skin super oily after a couple of hours of wear. A superb mineral foundation but not for oily skin types I'm afraid.

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - bareMinerals Big & Bright

I am not exactly a fan of the Bare Escentuals mineral foundations but this eyeliner is actually quite good. It is easy to apply because it's soft, pigmented and contrary to others who have written a review I think it lasts long enough. Another pro is the fact that I don't have to use a sharpener. I absolutely like this liner!

Lip Treatments -Vaseline - Lip Therapy

This is a simple, no nonsense lip balm that is very effective at the same time. I put it on every night before I go to sleep but it can also be used during the daytime ofcourse. It's also great for appllication over lipsticks that are a bit too drying. It prevents cracking and flakiness and makes my lips comfortably soft and smooth instead. Another pro is that I don't need to buy another one any time soon because it lasts for ages.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser

This is just another average cleanser. Nothing special at all. It didn't damage my skin nor did it improve it. My break outs didn't miraculously disappear whilst using it but they didn't get worse either. I don't recommend it to people with a dryer skin type than mine because it does take care of oilyness. I don't think I will buy this cleanser again because I was not impressed with the overall effect.

Liquid -Guerlain - 'Lingerie de Peau' Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation

This truly is a great foundation! It looks very natural and matte after application and since I have such an oily skin I prefer matte foundations to the ones with the much praised dewy finish. It doesn't give me as much coverage at Guerlain's Parure Extreme but if you combine this foundation with a good and natural looking concealer the end result is great. The only con is the fact that it is so ridiculously expensive.

Concealers -MAC - Pro Longwear concealer

I was sceptical about this concealer because MAC foundations turn my face into an oily mess, they oxidize on me and I'm pretty convinced that they are comedogenic. However, this is a very decent concealer. The pro's are that it has a matte finish, good coverage and it lasts a lot longer on my oily skin than most concealers. I have read the reviews of others and I totally agree with them that the pump is a bit of a disaster but on the whole I'm quite contented with this concealer. I will buy this again!

Blush -Jane Iredale - Pure Pressed Blush

I have this blush in flushed and I love it! It's a presed blush so it's not as messy as loose mineral powder blushes and the application is quick and easy. These blushes look natural on the skin and don't make you look like a clown. Another pro is that they last for hours. I like the fact that these blushes are mineral because I think that mineral make up is better for the skin. Escpecially if you have problems with oilyness and breakouts like me. I have to take one lippie of for the price again but as soon as I can afford it I will buy this blush in another colour as well.

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Matt Touch - Touche Mate - Oil-Free Primer

My skin is extremely oily and therefore prone to breakouts. I have tried many different primers to control the oilyness and to make my make up last longer but this is the best one I have tried so far. This primer dries into a nice matte, velvety finish and keeps my skin matte for hours on end. I use this under mineral make up and my foundation goes on smoothly and lasts longer than it normally does. I think this primer works even better in combination with a liquid foundation. I take one lippie of for the price (it's just too expensive) but other than that I'm definitely going to buy this again. Oily girls should give it try!

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

I bought into the hype not long after this product was launched in Europe for the first time but I quickly abandoned it again. I donīt like to be too negative when it comes to reviewing products but I just have to be honest here. This foundation looked horrible on my skin, much too shiny and glittery. Leaving my house while wearing it made me feel selfconscious in an unpleasant sort of way. It made my oily skin even oilier and my pores looked huge. It emphasized all of the aspects of my skin that I donīt look like very much so I will not buy Bare Escentuals again. It just didnīt work out for me. I tried the matte version as well but that hardly gave me any coverage so there was no point in wearing it. I do give Bare Escentuals credit for the fact that they launched mineral make up on a large scale.

Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

Didnīt like this at all. I purchased the right colorfor for my skintone but it still looked chalky and unnatural on me. My skin turned into an oil slick after a few hours of wear and it made my breakouts worse, which didnīt surprise me because I had the constant feeling that this foundation was suffocating my skin. The coverage is sufficient and itīs easy to apply but a definite no no for me!

This hydrating and setting spray was a pleasant surprise for me and has quickly become my HG. My skin is very oily so I use this spray as my daily moisturizer which works absolutely fine. I also use this spray after applying my make up and it has a remarkable effect as far as I'm concerned. My make up looks more natural and lasts a lot longer. My biggest fear is that the D2O mist will be discontinued one day so please DON'T!!

Makeup Brushes -Jane Iredale - Handi Brush

A great brush and definitely a must when it comes to applying the Jane Iredale foundation. It is a pleasure to use this brush because it is so soft . When I am using this brush I'm able to get enough coverage without the dreaded chalky and unnatural look. Will buy again!
