After reading all the reviews on this... I had to try it. I am pretty oily in the T-Zone. I work in a office but most of the times do not have time for touch ups for I need something that will last me all day without needing a crowbar to remove at the end of the day. So I went and got this at Neimans last night and as I have tested it today... I do have some shine breaking through at 11am. Don't get me wrong this foundation feels amazing on your face and it still looks decent but I can still feel the olies on my face. So for 58.00 I wouldn't buy again. And I probably going to return what I bought last night. 58.00 is too much to pay for just ok. I think if you werent a very oily girl this would be great. So I am on the fence about this. Going to try Estee Lauder Double Matte. Something has to work on the this oily Skin.

Mascara -New York Color - Waterproof Mascara

I didn't purchase this product for the fact that it would stay on a long time. I used this after I have curled my eyelashes with a curler. The waterproof mascara holds the curl. For this being inexspensive it does a good job. A sales lady at Saks Fifth Ave told me this trick of using waterproof mascara. It really works.

Powder -Clinique - Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15

I have been on the quest for the perfect foundation powder. I think this comes close to perfect... I have oily skin in the t-zone and it doesn't do much for that but a little matte powder over it and it's good. Also, I have roseca on my cheeks and it does well in covering it up. It's much better than fooling around with a liquid makeup and powder, plus I live in Texas and it's hot & Humid. So for the price $24.00 and the easy-ness of the application I think it's a pretty decient product.

I have a very oily t-zone, and I live in Texas which is always hot. Put on my foundation this morning and I dont' have the oil slick I usually do on my face. I have tried Loreal, Merle Norman, Flirt, Sephora, Cover girl, Sue Devitt and nothing compares. It has pretty good staying power, but the oil control is great. Best I have found so far. It is very pricey but having a good foundation is important. If you can afford it you should definately get it, it's worth the bucks.

Powder -Cover Girl - Fresh complexion oil control makeup (powder foundation)
woodenmeow 4/19/2007 10:55:00 AM
Ok, I am one to usually read these then write them. I have very oily in the t-zone skin. I have tried every kind of foundation from Bare Essentuals, to Revlon Color-stay. All of them have eventually gotten oily. The Cover girl Fresh complexion still got a little oily, but it feels nice and as soon as I re-applied it sucked up the oil. This was easy to use and feels very soft. I will still see how it goes, but I will probably buy again. Since I have tried alot of foundations, even the exspensive ones haven't worn any better than the drugstore ones. So I will at least save some money buying this one.
