Zero coverage. Didn't do zilch to even out skin tone. And this after having to apply 2x the amount that I use on other liquid foundation brands. Cheap? Sure. But surely that is no excuse to sell a product that does absolutely nothing!
Bad product. Wand does not deposit anything on lashes and clumps badly. Takes a v long time to dry. Applied 4-5 times and could hardly see any effect!
Pros: Dirt cheap. Cons: Hard to control how much squirts out of bottle. First squirt too little - 2nd squirt - WAY too much. Texture - more like a foundation. Sticky once you put it on the face and have to work fast. Had to set it w powder which is v unusual if you have have moisturiser on your face.
I like the fact that there's moer highlighter shades as that's where you'd use the most of. I'd give more medium shade as compared to the darkest shade as the latter is only usually used as an eyeliner and really how much do you need for that. I'd prefer they added a mirror in the interior when the flap is opened. Not all the colors I'll use. Those in the last row are too glitzy for me. Not 'Natural Faced' in any way. Still, will see myself using the rest of the colors till they run out.
Blush -Bonne Bell - BLUSH'N GO POWDER BLUSH RADIANT GLOW PEACHY PINK AND NECTAR

Cheap N cheerful product. V surprised considering what I paid for it. Lasting colors. I blend the 2 colors by using a big brush. Using them singly is I think too harsh. Although quantity looks little, a little goes a long way. Definitely will repurchase.
Have this in the beige and pink. The wand is useless. Easier to smear with fingers. Pretty sheer. Good if you don't want to go out of the house with 'naked' eyes. I'm all for the minimum input maximum output. So a quick smear on the lids with this, a quick swiped of eyeliner and done. Since I'm not an expert in the blend-4-colors-into crease/brow/lid etc kinda girl this is perfect for me.
Got the Champagne-Java. Once I removed the plastic shrink-wrap and opened the eye shadow end, the whole piece came off the tube! Still, usable - just have to be extra careful. Other than that it's a nice neutral shimmerish eyeshadow. No finicky brushes needed and due to the shade if u overapply it's not a big deal. Eyeliner end is waxy and soft. Good smudgy effect. However my daughter said it looked pink on my eye instead of the shimmery bronzy color I THOUGHT it looked. Oh well. Also, I can bring this anywhere with no brushes. Very portable.
Lips -Wet 'n' Wild - Perfect Pair Lip Wand- Hanky-Pinky

The color on the pen is not indicative of the true color. Got the Hanky Pinky. Very loud pink. Hard to wear. But it does lasts very long. And good for on the go!
Absolute junk. Sure it makes the skin smoother immediately upon application but shouldn't all moisturisers do that?? Had used it religiously everynite but in the long run (abt a month's worth of use) my skin condition is still the same - dry. The smoothness is just the cream lying ON TOP of the skin. Once you wash it off or it evaporates you're back to the same old same old. Luckily I bought it at a duty-free shop so damage not so great to the wallet...still, really can't see what the hype is.
I used this in my teens when nothing seemed to work and the acne on my face seemed to be all that mattered. Sadly it didn't work miracles then. 20 years later and feeling nostalgic for that unique mentholly smell I scored not 1, not 2, not 3 but FOUR jars of these things. At first I was really taken in by the dirt-cheapness of it all, having been through the YSLs, Clarins and whatnot of adult life. But after the 2nd jar I realised it did squat for my makeup, and indeed been going to bed with a less-than-clean face. It was only swiping a cotton wipe and looking at the remnants of my foundation did I realise it was only good for mornings straight of out bed cleaning, and not effective as a makeup remover, which it claims to be...Still, it will not go to waste. It still wakes me up due to the scent. Still, time to say bye bye once and for all after I finish the last jar. Adios.
Awful. Thank goodness I got it free from my sister - but still an awful waste of $. No cleansing powers whatsoever. It just skimmed across my face doing goodness knows what, and upon rinsing off, makeup is still very much there! I'm surprised the average rating garnered above 3.5 in this forum. The only redeeming feature is the scent which is not unpleasant. But it's going to be chucked to make precious real estate space for other more deserving cleansers in my bathroom!
Foundations -Red Earth Cosmetics - Perfect Definition Smooth Hydrating Foundation

Considering what I paid for it it's a steal. Got the Creamy Bisque shade at SGD36 less 50%. It does hydrate in that my skin doesn't feel as tight as wearing other non-hydrating foundations, and it has SPF. Applies easily and a little goes a long way.
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios XL Creme 60+ (Tinted)
wlyeong 5/25/2009 9:45:00 PM
Had high hopes due to the good SPF protection and tintedness. At last I thought. An all-in-one foundation/moisturiser/SPF for reactive skin! Alas - not so true. The tint did not blend with my skin tone and my face looks darker than it is and ironically, more tan...it's also very shiny that I've resorted to putting loose powder over it to mattify...The fragrance - it's not so much '-free' as in 'synthetic' smelling. Dying to finish it as it's not so cheap as to chuck it away in anguish.
Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara

Very affordable and value-for-$ product. Packaging is rather glam too considering the price (SGD14). Goes one pretty wet and pliable and really forms a nice coating on the lashes to thicken and lengthen. Will repurchase.
Big letdown. Been hearing the hype for the longest time and at last managed to get hold of one - the only thing gd is the packaging which is a nice black matte tube with some heft. Other than that it does squat to my lashes...and believe me I've been around the block in terms of mascara: Korean ones, Japanese ones, high-end french, low-end french...Here's my top 3 and bottom 3: Top1: Milani's Define a Lash(green cap), Maybelline's lash discovery (sadly discontinued where I'm from) and Anna Sui's Super Long Lash. Bottom 3: Fiberwig, Pupa, s.e.m.p.l.i.c.e.
