Eyeliner -Stila - Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Purple Tang

this is such a pretty sparkly purple eye liner that does not smudge. i love putting this on my lower lash line as a subtle color accent. it is also very pretty to wear on upper lash line alone as it defines the eyes and adds interesting drama because of the sparkles. i dont like that this pencil doesnt retract though...so do not twist the product out too much...you cant get it to go back.
this is nothing special...it just coats the lips, gives a sheen and does not actually treat dry, sensitive lips. i don't notice this moisturizing my lips...it just sits on top and when i eat or drink and blot my lips...it wipes off so easily and my lips are back to being super dry and chapped. this is also slippery, so it does not wear well under lipstick. i do not notice much benefits when worn at night to sleep...when i wake up...my lips are still chapped.
my newfound love! i have dry under eye area and i enjoy using rich eye creams all throughout the year and this really is ultra rich, yet easy to pat in. i love how this wears under concealers. i used this day and night all around my eyes, dabbing it on top of my lashes too....for close to two months and i notice smoother, hydrated skin around the eyes and this cream does not give me those tiny bumps...that you get sometimes from using a thicker, richer eye creams. the most exciting result of this eye cream is that i have fuller, longer lashes than prior to using this product! definitely will repurchase!
This has been my go to foundation replacement this winter! surprisingly, this gives good natural coverage and it is very moisturizing. it does have that greyish cast at first but it blends in naturally into the skin after few minutes. I love how easy it is to apply...feels like a light moisturzer and my skin looks good after I take my makeup off end of the day...so I can say that this has skincare benefits. I tried the pink bottle too but I like this one better. the pink one had less coverage and felt a little oilier. i like how i dont have to have a nicely prepped, well exfoliated skin to use this. it is a low mainenance product and i like everything about except the bulky opaque packaging. i dont know how much product is left...it is a minor complaint but i wish that it came in a travel friendly tube instead.
I give thumbs up for this treatment! I feel like this lets my nails breathe in between manicures but also makes my nails looking so shiny and elegant. it gives slight ballet pink tint...which is such a clean and flattering look for the office. i always have color polish on my nails but i can easily use this for a week without getting bored of my nails. I apply it on bare nails and reapply after two to three days. This should not be used with base or top coat. it is meant to be used alone as treatment and i really love it. i also like how Julep recently changed their applicator brush to flat shape. it is so much easier to apply now.

I am pleasantly surprised by this cream. I wanted to try something new for the winter months and since I go through a jar of cream so fast, I wanted to get something that contained more than an oz...which is the average size of a moisturizing cream. this is a 1.7 oz jar and it is $88 I believe. It is pretty rich and emollient that goes on easily, I first massage it into my face and neck and then gently press it into the skin after. I have used half jar already and I can agree that this does excellent job in moisturizing and hydration. I can tell that this does not just sit on the skin but actually absorbs in nicely. This cream claims to give anti-ageing (reducing lines, wrinkles and lifts) and firming benefits...but i dont notice this too much. it has a pleasant spa-like scent which I like and it comes in a glass jar which is also nice. It is a great cream to try in the winter months if you like Creme De La Mer type of creams!
Bath Treatments -LUSH - Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

I tried a smaller tub that came in one of the holiday sets and I fell in love. I like how convenient it is to use...at the end of shower. I just brush off excess water and condition my body with this and blot dry with a towel after. I get lazy when it comes to moisturzing my body so this product works well for me because it is part of my shower routine. this gives supple moisture but sometimes I do feel the need to touch up my elbows and knees out of the shower. The thing I like about this is that I can use it on damp skin or dry skin. I like the smell too...but I can see that it is not for everyone. My almost 5 year old loves this too! I had to get her a big tub of it and she is so happy to call it her own :)
love love love! i have been looking for a shade like this for a while and i am so happy that i found a pretty lavender that brightens my eyes. it looks gorgeous on its own and like any other burberry eye shadows, it blends like a dream. this is my go to eye shadow at the moment. for refernce, i have dark brown eyes, dark brown hair and fair to medium skin tone.
Makeup Brushes -Rock & Republic - 203 blending brush

this is not as soft as the mac and sigma version of 224 blending brush. it is slightly longer than sigma 224. i just don't like the brush hair, it's kind of prickly. i like the construction of the brush and it blends alright...
this is my favorite neutral eye shadow quad. i love all four colors and use all four colors!. it is a very wearable palette that i often reach for and would be happy to just have this if all of my eye shadow palette collection disappeared :) i love how this quad has a highlight color that is shimmery but not overwhelming. the peachy shade is so beautiful as a base and to blend out and the light and dard taupy shades look very expensive on the eye lids. i would highly recommend this quad if you can find it. unfortunately, this was a limited edition, nordstrom exclusive.
this color is all you need if you want a quick defining eye look and it looks as if you used at least two or three eye shadows to acheive the look. it gives multi dimensional affect depending on how much you apply it and how much you blend it. it looks a little shimmery in the pan but when applied, it gives amazing sheen. burberry eye shadows are one of my favorite!
wow, what a pretty blush! this is my first tom ford blush and i had high hopes and it met my expectation and worth the $55. it looks scary in the pan because of how bright plummy pink it is but you can sheer it out beautifully if you use the right brush. you need the slightest amount on your brush and what i do is dab off just a little on the back of my had before i apply it on my cheeks. this will last ages since it's is very pigmented. it's easily blendable and i love this color for fall and winter. it's the perfect cold cheeks look and it is exactly what i was looking for. i am impressed of tom ford blush and i will probably end up with a few more in the near future!
this pink is an easy to wear, every day color that you don't need a mirror to apply. it doesn't accentuate dry lips, in fact, it makes it look nicely moisturized which is why i really like this lipstick color. i have neutral, light medium skin tone and not all pinks look good on me so i am happy how this color works for me.
i got a huge tub...12 oz after trying it at kiehl's counter. i like how it soaks into the skin pretty quickly, unlike the laura mercier body souffle...they take a whike to sink into the skin. this looks like a whipped butter, nice and airy, yet rich in texture. it does not give an oily residue and i love the smell of this, it is very mild, yet it lingers pleasantly. its a warm, yummy scent which is perfect for winter. it actually smells similar to laura mercier amber vanille body souffle...which is definitely stronger and can be overpowering. now, i have to say that laura mercier body souffle packaging is far more luxurious than this one and they are similar in price... LM is $55 and Kiehl's is $48 for same 12 oz size. Kiehl's have great holiday gift set for good value during the holidays so pick one up for yourself during the holiday season and try this yummy body butter!
i love this cream! it is a quite heavy moisturizer, it is not super thick but it moisturizes like the thick creams do. the scent is mild...has aromatherepy quality to it so i enjoy using this at night. my skin feels supple and dewy in the morning so it really hydrates as well as moisturizes. it also wears wonerfully under makeup, especially if you are using a foundation that requires good moisturized skin. the price is very reasonable but only down side with her products are...shipping time. it takes pretty long since it comes from u.k. just order a month in advance to when you need it!
