Mascara -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Lash Architect in Carbon Gloss

I love this and I am surprised by the earlier comments! I first started buying this ages ago and I am on my 6th or 7th tube now! Its an absolute favourite of mine and one I go back to when I periodically try other ones. For me I find it a great one- coat mascara, that is the thickness is great and its very black, the brush is well designed too. Try it!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
white_daisy 8/6/2009 8:14:00 PM
This foundation unfortunately hates my face! I got it in NW30 which is a tad darker than my skin tone, but NW25 was too pale. Thats not the real problem for me though, the problem is that its so OILY. When you first apply it, it doesnt appear to be oily but give it a few hours and it looks extremely shiney and feels awful. The consistency is light like a gel formula. I usually love MAC's foundation, the one I used before was the Studio fix fluid and got through bottle after bottle of that! I only changed because I thought I was going to get some kind of amazing air brushed finish and of course as a complete make up junkie I just had to try a new product! The coverage is buildable and it did not break me out though like some reviewers have found, but for the oilyness alone, this foundation is just not for me, shame really as I wanted to love it!

Bronzers -Bobbi Brown - Bronzing Powder in Natural
white_daisy 12/20/2008 10:20:00 PM
I'm now on my third one of these, i love it, its finely milled, as you might expect from Bobbi Brown as well as being highly pigmented and has no sparkle or shimmer to it, which i love. i dont find it looks muddy on me, however i do get a muddy look when ive used benefit hoola in the past. BB bronzer has a big thumbs up from me, and as long as they continue to make it, I will keep buyin!!

Eyes -MAC - False Lashes
white_daisy 4/9/2008 9:48:00 PM
I bought the 20's off the MAC website and I love them. They are half lashes and they give a great cat eye type of look. They really thickened up my own eyelashes at the outer edge. I havent bought the MAC adhesive yet because its currently out of stock but I had some ruby and millie eyelash glue so I used that. I tried the eyelashes for a night out last week and they stayed on brilliantly. The edges did not lift and they were so light to wear I forgot I was wearing them. I would definately buy again and will probably try some of the other false eyelashes that MAC do.

Mascara -MAC - Plush Lash
white_daisy 4/9/2008 9:31:00 PM
I love this mascara. Its quite thick so one good coat is all you need, great news when your in a hurry. I just wish the brush was longer. I find the brush quite short and fat and it is a bit hard to work with. I have to put my mirror on the magnifying side just so I can see where its going, otherwise mistakes happen and I end up looking like I've had a fight with the mascara brush and its won!

Misc Beauty Tools -MAC - Full lash curler
white_daisy 4/9/2008 9:22:00 PM
I love my MAC eyelash curler. I bought it off the MAC website. I have tried so many different ones in the past. This MAC one gives a good squeeze of the eyelashes so the lashes pop up vertically, isnt that what we are all after?! I do what is recommended and give a squeeze at the base of the lashes, then the middle, and then the ends of the eyelashes and get the mascara on, and that method works really well coz they hold better for the day. I once bought some Shu Uemura e/l curlers because of the great reviews on here, but, I have to say the ones I mainly grab out my bag are my MAC ones!

Lipstick -MAC - Satin Lipstick - Myth
white_daisy 2/29/2008 10:10:00 PM
For reference I am NW25. I love this lipstick. Its just the BEST pale nude colour out there. I love the look of eyeshadows and blushers and lipsticks in the matte texture. I find that this lipstick is dry and thick to apply so all I have to do is kind of dot it on lightly and blend over with a brush and the job is done! the good thing is that it stays on quite a while, unlike glossier types that you have to keep applying. You can play up the darker eyeshadow's with this look. as well - overall it's FAB!!!

Makeup Brushes -Ruby & Millie - Foundation Brush
white_daisy 2/29/2008 9:54:00 PM
I love this foundation brush. I have always used a sponge to apply my MAC studio fix foundation, but I just wasnt getting a very good coverage with the sponge, so I went to boots and bought the R & M foundation brush, the results are AMAZING! I just pump some foundation on the back of my left hand so I can dip the brush into it to apply to my face. It makes blending so easy and flawless looking. The design of the brush is tapered but flexible and it has never shed any hairs. THIS IS A MUST HAVE! :o))

Mascara -MAC - Zoom lash
white_daisy 2/20/2008 10:30:00 PM
I really like this mascara. I first started off with the MAC fibre rich mascara which I also really like but I was intrigued by the other mascaras MAC had to offer. I got this one online because our nearest MAC counter is miles away, and I am becoming a MAC junkie because its soooo easy to order online. Anyway, I think the Zoomlash is fab! It's a great thick mascara which lengthens and thickens. I sometimes get the odd clump but thats ok, I just swipe the brush round the neck of the tube to get the mascara off and brush through them and all is fine! I'm way too lazy to try and find my mascara comb which is probably right at the bottom of my heaving make up bag! My eyelashes are not very long and not very thick and I hate natural looking mascara's because they really dont do anything for me. I would definately buy this again, not a bad price either!

Treatments (Eye) -BeneFit Cosmetics - DePuffing Action Eye Gel
white_daisy 2/20/2008 10:14:00 PM
I was on the fence with this for a while mainly because I dont think I was applying enough of it to notice any difference. If your running late in the morning and dont want to leave the house looking like a sleepy head then this stuff helps a bit to take down the puffy eyes, thats if you have the time to apply it, wait a few moments for it to dry, then apply your usual mu! I started applying a little more than usual and thats when I def noticed a tingley feeling under my eyes which makes you feel more awake. I wouldnt say it totally takes the puffiness out but it helps... a bit!

Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Spiked
white_daisy 2/15/2008 9:28:00 PM
When I first bought this I loved it, but I must have had a faulty one because the pencil refused to twist up, therefore this product only lasted me just over a week! :o( shame because I really loved how easy it was to put on and the colour was great, matching my own dark brown hair perfectly. I used to use a much lighter brown pencil until the mac sales guy suggested 'spiked'. Someone said on a review the pencil doesnt last long, How long would you all say this pencil would last you, if you used it once a day? Oh and also what does 'HG' mean? (I'm a newbie to this!)
