I have been dying my hair at home for as long as I can remember. So I am always looking for a ''less damaging'' alternative. I have natural dark brown that I like to dye soft black. I do this about every 3-4 months...sometimes more if I get lazy. As soon as I saw the commercial for this stuff I knew I had to try it. First thing I loved was the scent! It was so great so not stink up my apartment while dying my hair! When I washed the colour out my hair actually felt softer and silkier...not dry and gross like it usually does after a dye job. This colour did begin to fade after 9 weeks. Not dramatic fading but I could see in the sun my natural hair shade beginning to peak through. But one thing I really loved from this product was how less damaging it was. I usually lose so much hair after dyeing it, and I have to say I didn't lose any more than what is normal daily hair loss from using this. I think for dying your hair a shade that is close to your natural, or just using it for the shine this product is great. If your looking for intense long lasting results this probably isn't the product for you.
Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

I usually dont use drugstore foundations but I ran out of my usual one night and needed to buy something fast. I ended up purchasing this...finding a shade was not easy...I bought ivory because it's the palest shade they offered. The Pros: This foundation has a great matte finish, it sets on its own without needing to use a powder (but I still use one anyway) and it lasts ALL DAY. I usually get a super shiny nose 5 hours into the day but with the stuff I don't need to touch up my makeup at all. This stuff would be great for oil/combination skin, but also work for dry skin because it doesn't catch or stick to dry patches. The Cons: The shade selection really sucks. Im very fair but have more neutral/warm undertones and all they have to offer is a light pink undertone. So i usually end up looking like I have a mask thats a different colour (so i use a yellow toned powder to balance this out). Also this stuff breaks me out if I wear it every day. Once I put it on for more than 3 days in a row I get clogged pores all over my chin and my skin just...looks like crap. But I think that's just a personal thing, I have very sensitive skin. I really do like this foundation, even though the cons are pretty bad I do like to use this occasionally on days when Im out for 12 hours and don't have time to touch my makeup. Its also great for nights out...I have danced and sweated the night away and this stuff is still there!
The colour of this is really beautiful but my problem is after having it for a few months this polish goes to shit. Iv re purchased this twice and the same thing always happens...it get gloopy, hard to apply, and it also doesn't last very long. But all this can be said for all the china glaze polishes. This polish starts chipping on me within 2 days, it really just annoying. But I still wear it because the colour is great, I just know I will only get one to 2 days of a nice looking manicure from it.
Best dark purple lipstick I have found yet. Its deep, dark, opaque, and super vampy. It lasts a long time, and has a perfect matte finish. Not for the faint of heart!
Beautiful deep berry purple lipstick. The more you apply, the deeper and more wine coloured the shade can get. My only problem with the is that the finish can wear off easily and settles into my lip lines because it has too much slip...if that makes sense. For a colour this deep, a less creamy formula would be best. This still doesn't stop me from wearing this as much as possible!
I really hate this blush. I dont see how this could look nice on anyone. Im very fair in the winter, but I tan in the summer so I have tried this blush im when different skin tones and it NEVER works. It looks dirty, it looks ruddy, and it just sucks. Its not even good for a contour colour because its too pink.
The pictures on this site are nowhere near the true colour of this lipstick. Vegas volt reads more orange coral in person. It looks like a creamsicle colour to me. This is a fabulous pop of colour for the spring and summer and the formula is fantastic. This lasts on my lips forever and leaves a nice orangey coral stain for hours, plus it isnt drying. I really wish the main pictures for this lipstick would just go away because they are really not a true representation AT ALL.
I don't hate this product but I don't love it either. Its just kind of there. I like neutral blushes but I feel like because this is a neutral pink it makes my face look...ruddy and a bit dirty sometimes. I have used it on clients and it has looked great, but its up to the opinion of the wearer. I feel like this blush is a pass. Something like MAC prism is similar but just deeper in colour and actually adds something more to your look...instead of just being there.
This is a great neutral blush colour. It goes great with dramatic eyes and lips when your dont want your cheeks to compete, but you dont want them forgotten either. I wouldnt use this straight up as a contour, its too pink for that in my opinion. I do however use it as blush, but more on the 'back' of my cheeks...not on the apples. Its gives great definition and the right amount of colour.
Best highlighter I have bought yet. Its not glittery or chunky or powdery, its like a beautiful glow. It can look subtle, and it can also look super dramatic if you use a heavier hand. People always tell me how great my skin looks when I have this on. The pale gold shade makes this perfect for cool and warm skintones. My only gripe with this is I bought it the first I dropped it from my hand onto my desk (like less then a foot) and the pan fell from the package and shattered. Yes, my fault, so I bought another...only this time when I took it out of the package at home the pan was already loose and fell out the second i turned it upside down. It's kind of annoying that this has happened twice to me, but I love the product so much I just deal with it.
FANTASTIC brushes. Every model I have used these on has commented on how soft they feel on the skin. Not only that but they spread, buff, and layer product flawlessly. I have washed these many times and have yet to see even one brush hair shed. To top everything off these are super affordable. To be honest I would pay triple how much these cost if I had to. Plus the case they come in can be converted into a brush stand which is handy and super cute!
Perfect contour colour for us fair skinned ladies! But its so pigmented that I have used it on darker skin tones as well. Just a perfect all around color that should be a staple in everyone's makeup bag.
Masks -Origins - Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask

I initially wanted to buy the original drink up mask, but the woman at the counter told me the overnight version is better. You put it on at night, it soaks right in, and you wake up with baby soft skin. It isnt greasy or sticky, it actually feels like a smooth moisturizer but it creates a thin barrier on you skin while you sleep so the skin doesn't lose moisture. I recommend this to anyone who feels like their skin is getting really dry or dehydrated and wants a nice treatment to fix that problem in one night. I use this about once a week to keep my skin from getting flakey on me. Also, I have an oily tzone and this product does not make me greasy or anything!!
Treatments -Essie - Smooth Trick Deep-Conditioning Cuticle Oil

Im surprised this product doesn't have more reviews! It is by far the best cuticle treatment I have found. I get the worst hangnails and dry cuticles ever; iv tried many different oils, and butters but nothing keeps the hydration for long after its soaked in. This stuff drys fast, smells like mint, and comes in a handy pen- like tube. So you can keep this stuff in your purse and just run it along your nails with no mess or big production. This is great stuff and makes your nails look great!
This is a mineralize blush from the Apres Chic collection. It is BEAUTIFUL. It is a soft peachy apricot colour with a champagne shimmer (no glitter). It gives my cheeks a lovely glow and adds a nice subtle peach colour that is perfect for when I wear darker lipstick, or dramatic eyes. It just gives your cheeks a perfect look without being in your face. It super pigmented, and it makes my naturally rosy cheeks look more toned down. It is perfect for lighter skin- this would probably work better as a highlighter on dark skin tones.
