This was completely an impulse buy I made while purchasing some other Chanel goodies. While I do think the color is nice, it completely clashes with my cool skintone and looks much too peachy on me to be flattering. Also, the shimmer is not even noticeable on the nails. I will be returning this (maybe for Pulsion or Tendresse).
This stuff is AWFUL. Backstory - a month ago I had my hair professionally dyed from a medium blonde to a light brown... Only it turned out red-black, so I used ColorOops from Sally Beauty and then redyed it a dark ash blonde. It turned out a medium to dark reddish brown, and slowly faded to a light red brown (which was one uniform shade). I saw this at the store (I also had a $3 coupon for it) and since they didn't have light ash brown, I bought medium ash brown (this was my first mistake). I wanted to darken it a little bit, but really tone down the brassiness. I realized too late that my hair is probably very porous, so I should have gotten a lighter shade. My second mistake was skipping the strand test. I used this this morning, and it turned my hair THREE different shades (I only left it 2 minutes too long, but that shouldn't have made much of a difference). It turned out mostly black on the top layer of my hair and the ends, turned a dark reddish brown on the underlayers, and it also looks really patchy and you can see patches of my old hair color in some spots. This also really didn't work evenly on my roots (which are now a medium shade of brown in some areas and black in others). I think I'm either going to have to go to Sally and get some color remover & redye, or try dyeing it a lighter shade of perm. color & see if that works in lifting the color. Either way, I'm very disappointed with this. I know some of it is my fault, but really - this shouldn't have turned my hair BLACK. I tried washing it several times (like 6!) with both clarifying and dandruff shampoo (& then I added baking soda), but it didn't lighten at all. I hope this stuff is not stuck in my hair. I'm also going to have to go an get a haircut to get an inch or so off the ends trimmed.
Liquid -Givenchy - Photo'Perfexion 100% Natural Complexion 0 Flaw

I've been using this for a few weeks and I really like it so far. I got this in perfect petal, which is a good match for my fair, pink-toned skin, but it can sometimes appear orangey. This foundation does a lovely job of evening out my skintone and covering redness, but it does not cover up old acne scars/pimples well enough, so I find that a concealer is needed. This gives my skin a nice glow without making me look like a greaseball (I have oily skin). I do need to blot after a few hours, but that's usually a given for me. It does emphasize dry skin though, so definitely moisturize well before applying. It smells nice (although very perfume-y). I also like the pump bottle, which keeps it sanitary. It's expensive, but I only need one pump for my face, so the bottle should last quite a while. Overall, I'm very pleased and if I don't find some reason to hate this, it would be a repurchase for me. ETA: I've changed my rating from a 4 to a 2. This turns orange on me, and the lasting power is quite weak. I'll be returning this.
Styling Products -Moroccanoil - Intense Curl Cream

This does absolutely nothing for my hair. It doesn't help hold a curl, doesn't make my hair any softer, nothing. My hair just looks frizzy and poufy and dry when I use this. Very disappointing considering I love the Moroccanoil shampoo, conditioner, and oil. I wouldn't recommend this at all!
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm
wetbandit42 12/21/2009 9:08:00 PM
I said I'd repurchase this, but I'm not entirely sure I would. I like it enough to buy it again, but $28 for a lipbalm is ridiculous. It makes my lips a pretty shade of pink, and it makes them feel soft, but I don't know if that's worth the price of this to me. I dislike the smell. This might be one of those things that's fun to try once.
Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict: Undressed Pink 219
wetbandit42 12/21/2009 9:03:00 PM
I love this color - it's a very pretty rosy, nude pink that works well with my fair, pink-toned skin. This feels very nice on, but it doesn't last very long and it's quite pricey. Other than that, I do like it a lot and would repurchase.
Shampoo -Lavera - Mango Milk Shampoo for Color-treated Hair

I love this! I saw a blurb about the conditioner in Lucky and knew I had to have it (I love the smell of mangos). It smells amazing - like real mangos. It doesn't lather that well, but it leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. I color my hair, and it's also curly (and therefore tends to be dry) and this leaves it super soft. The packaging is kind of ugly, but that's a minor complaint. This shampoo is vegan, if that matters to you. This would definitely be a repurchase for me. The matching conditioner is great as well - smells just as amazing as this and leaves my hair feeling so soft.
If I had reviewed this right after I used it, I would have said it was terrible. However, about 2 weeks after using this, it has morphed into the perfect shade. I used Christie - 8N Medium Blonde. It seemed easy enough to use, but my mom did it for me. It smells very nice, but my hair felt a little dry after using. The conditioner didn't work very well for me either and I ended up using my own. As for the product itself, it left my roots an odd shade of strawberry blonde. I only left it on my roots for 30 minutes though (as opposed to the recommended 35) b/c my mom made me wash it out early. However, three weeks later, my roots are no longer reddish; they're just a pretty shade of medium blonde. I had highlights before using this, and they came through after dying. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that my ends were lighter than the upper half of my hair, which I think could be due to the preconditioner treatment - it may have prevented the ends from soaking up enough color. I also did this using the allover color method instead of just doing my roots. I would most definitely repurchase this, as it's much cheaper than getting highlights. Next time I'll make sure to leave this on my roots for the full 35 minutes.
Eh, this isn't anything special - it's a decent moisturizer, but that's about it. It smells awful, it leaves my skin looking greasy in the morning, and it's overpriced. I've bought several Fresh products in the past few months, and I've only really liked a few. I get the feeling that most of their products are over-hyped. Luckily, I bought this during Sephora's Friends and Family sale, so it wasn't that expensive. I would recommend getting a sample of this before purchasing.
This is an okay cleanser, but it's nothing special. The performance certainly doesn't justify the ridiculous price. I have combo/acne-prone skin, and this didn't make my face feel clean enough. It didn't remove my mascara either, but I guess on the plus side it didn't leave my skin feeling dry. I also dislike the way this smells (like fake cucumbers). I would definitely not repurchase this, and if you want to try it, I would recommend getting a sample from Sephora.
This smells really nice and as the other reviewer mentioned, comes with a lid to keep out dust. The jar is also very pretty. I like this candle, but I wouldn't repurchase this candle, only because it's expensive and doesn't smell that unique.
I own three Fresh candles, and this is by far my favorite (and the only one I'd repurchase). This smells very sexy - it would be great to light when you have a guy over. It's slightly musky - I don't know how else to describe it, but it smells absolutely divine. I took off one lippie for the price ($48) which is a bit ridiculous for a candle. I do like the packaging, and the candle comes with a lid so it stays dust-free. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!
Conditioner -Moroccanoil - Moisture Repair Conditioner
wetbandit42 11/4/2009 6:45:00 PM
This conditioner is amazing! It makes my hair very soft, and it smells TDF! 2 gripes - it's not very thick, so I feel like I have to use more than usual to really make my hair saturated. Also, the bottle is made of hard plastic which is hard to squeeze. To get it to come out, I have to turn it upside down and rap it a few times. Other than that, I love this and will definitely repurchase!
I love this! I have dry, curly hair that's highlighted and trimmed every few months. This makes my hair sooo soft, and it smells amazing! I usually never find shampoos and conditioners that I like enough to repurchase, but this definitely will be a repurchase for me!
Lotions/ Creams -Molton Brown - Ultrasmooth Coco de Mer Body Lotion
wetbandit42 10/14/2009 8:29:00 PM
IMO, this stuff smells awful. It smelled mildew-y or something. I got a sample of this and I didn't even use up the sample bottle; I gave it to a friend. I only buy lotion from the drugstore, but little samples like this are nice to use once in a while. However, this one didn't do it for me, and I just don't see the point of paying close to $30 for body lotion. Also, this irritated my KP, but most scented lotions do that.
