Eye Shadow -MAC - Paradisco (Frost)
weneedaroom 8/11/2007 11:08:00 PM
Paradisco is absolutely beautiful in the pan. Pity I can't get it to show up on the skin--regardless of the amount of packing it on or what base I use.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Melon
weneedaroom 8/11/2007 11:07:00 PM
I think that the color of melon in the jar is great. I don't know of an eyeshadow like it! It's beautiful, but in order to have any real payoff on me, even over a base like a paint pot or a shadestick, you have to really pack it on. I wish that the color was more vibrant on the eyes!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Apex 3D Glass
weneedaroom 8/11/2007 11:05:00 PM
I really, really enjoy the texture of this gloss--it's not sticky or thick at all. It goes on very smooth and feels almost slippery on the lips. The color of this one (a sheer orange) is great--and it looks wonderful over coordinating lipsticks. The only reason I didn't give it a four is that it's a bit too sheer on it's own--but not enough to make me stop loving it. I also find the packaging to be cute!

Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Frankly Scarlet
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:24:00 PM
This blush is INTENSE. It is the brightest, reddish blush that I have ever used. I am an NW15, very pale, and the first time I used this I had to immediately wash my face. I looked ridiculous. Since then I have realised that this blush is useable, but takes a lot of effort. You need to use an extremely light hand, blow on the brush, blend VERY well, etc. It is just too much to go through when you're in a hurry, and you need to be careful when using it. I won't repurchase, both for that reason, and because I will never use it up. It just seems like MAC's most impractical product.

Blush -MAC - Frost Blush in Margin
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:20:00 PM
I was a little scared of this blush at first--I had only ever tried pink blushes and this was more of a goldish peach, and looked like it might be too dark for my pale skin! I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be perfect for me. I still mostly use pink blush, but this is great during summer especially--the color just reminds me of summer, I guess :) I do wish it was a little more matte, because when I pair it with an MSF, I get shimmer overload, haha.

Blush -MAC - Dollymix
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:19:00 PM
Dollymix is a color that everyone needs in their blush collection--a simple bright pink. When used with a light hand, it gives my NW15 cheeks a nice pinkish glow. You do have to be careful when applying, otherwise you'll look like a clown. Definitely blow the brush before putting it on your face!

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:17:00 PM
This color is a perfect highlight. It's not too glittery and goes on very smoothly. My only issue with it is that it takes a bit of layering to show up on my NW15 skin. Maybe it would look even better on deeper skintones? I will definitely keep on using it as a highlight for both my cheeks and eyes, just wish it showed up easier so I didn't run through it so quickly!

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Glissade
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:14:00 PM
I know that Glissade hasn't been getting much love, and I just don't understand! It is the PERFECT cheek product for me and I use it with nearly every look I wear. I'm an NC15, and this product has worked so much better than blush or a bronzer for me--more sheer and with more shimmer. It really gives me a "healthy" glow. I also find it useful as an eyeshadow from time to time. I can see how it could make you look like a discoball, but I never have that problem--I just don't overload my brush with product.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:08:00 PM
This concealor does have great coverage. It was also a perfect match for my skintone, which is often hard to find in drugstore concealors. The problems I had with it was that it did not seem to stay on very well for the whole day, especially if it was in the heat. I also found that it creased immediately if I used it on my eyelid or under my eyes. I've found a liquid concealor that works on my entire face and lasts longer, so I won't be repurchasing.

Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Lingering
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:06:00 PM
I really loved Lingering. It was a perfect match for my brow color and filled them in so they looked natural--perfect but not too defined. I also loved how you didn't have to sharpen it, but could twist the product up. However, mine ran out within a month. I don't have huge eyebrows or anything, so this was a surprise and disappointment! I'll be using eyeshadow from now on to line my brows.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lip Varnish
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:04:00 PM
I HATE lip varnish. I think it goes on the lips unevenly--not a nice, smooth even lip coverage. My mom agrees with me and recently returned Cute Yet Sexy. Not only that, after just a month mine started to seperate in the tube--disgusting. An MA told me all of hers have done the same. Definitely not one of MAC's better ideas.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Plushglass in Full For You
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:02:00 PM
Full for you is definitely my favorite plushglass! I love the tingly feeling it gives my lips, and this is a beautiful, very sheer raspberry pink that works with absolutley any look--it's nearly as versatile as clear gloss! In fact, it's nearly clear on me, but has just enough pigmentation to give my lips a healthy pink tint and a tiny bit of shimmer. This was the first MAC product I used all the way up!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Poetique lipglass
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 5:00:00 PM
The color of this lipglass is and unique--a coppery sort of shade. I just wish I could think of more things to wear it with! I'm having trouble finding a complementary lipstick. It is too much of an intense color to wear everyday, so I will probably never use it up--hence me not needing to buy it again.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Raquel Lipglass
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 4:58:00 PM
One of my favorite lipglasses! The packaging (animal print!) is SUPER cute. That's always a plus. Do wish it didn't have the doe foot applicator, but what can you do. This corally pink lipglass is perfect on its own. It's easy and completes almost any look. I always keep it in my purse for a touch up, not matter what I'm wearing on the rest of my face.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass - Venetian
weneedaroom 7/13/2007 4:56:00 PM
I love lustreglasses in general. They go on smoothly, aren't too thick or sticky, and have a brush applicator! Venetian is one I love in particular because it is a bright, sheer red. It is perfect on its own if you want something that is still red toned but not intense, and looks stunning over red MAC lipsticks--especially matte ones that need some glossing up!!
