Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Buffing Brush
rated 5 of 5

I got this brush in the core collection. So thrilled real techniques is finally being sold in Canada! Yayy!! I don't use this for foundation though I use this to buff in my powder. It works lovely with Rimmel stay matte powder. I did try with foundation but it didn't work as well as the expert face brush does. The bristles r soooooo soft and the brush is super easy to clean.

Palettes -E.L.F. - 32 Piece Eyeshadow Collection
rated 3 of 5

I bought these in the brights and neutral palettes. They are ok you get what you pay for. They cost me $5. Colours aren't very pigmented but that's ok. If your new to makeup they will be great. I do like them and will buy again. I gave a rating of 3 because I don't like that they are not very pigmented and the case can be tricky to get open. I have to use a knife every time.

I wanted to love this blush but it just doesn't look right on me. I'm between a nw15 and nw20. It just comes off way to harsh. Maybe I'm just not applying it right so I'm gonna continue trying! Love the packing and love the price! I'm so jealous of people who can pull this blush off cause it truely is a beautiful pink.

Primer/ Corrector -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless Corrector
rated 4 of 5
wendycoco 5/12/2013 11:33:00 PM

I bought this on sale at shoppers drugmart for $8 usually it's about $16 I believe. I picked up two cause of the cheap sale price! Over all this product is ok though not my HG. I like the packaging unlike other people do. I think it's super cute and perfect for storing. Colour is a tad to dark for my skin, I'm about a nw15 so I put this on first then foundation then my regular concelor. I put no to repurchasing because I don't feel that it's that amazing for the regular price. So yes I think it's an ok product it's just not for me. Plus I really don't suffer from bags under my eyes anyway.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Makeup
rated 2 of 5

This did not work for me cause my skin tends to hate anything with a radiant finish. It's to bad cause it looked so lovely on my friend! I'd recommend this for normal to dry skinned girls. Love the packaging and love how it looks on other people!

Cost $7.99 which is fine with me! Only drawback is the smell but it's a small price to pay for awesome.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - SalIy Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat
rated 4 of 5

I got this on sale at shoppers drug mart for about $3.50. Works good dries fast nice finish. My nails still chip quickly though but even with the most expensive top coats on my nails they still chip fast. Product gets goopy fast so I did have to add some polish remover to thin it out again. I do like this product better then most I've tried. Just keep in mind that yes the tops of your nails are dry but the bottom layers are not so you still gotta be careful what you do for quite some time.

Lips -NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream
rated 4 of 5
wendycoco 4/21/2013 11:25:00 PM

I purchased the colour Tokyo at Target for $7.99 The colour is nice but I don't find it overly pigmented on me. If I wear this I usually apply something else over it cause it makes a pretty good base coat. I don't find it overly drying on the lips which is a bonus for a matte product. Lasting power isn't the best compared to other matter lip products. The smell is amazing. It smells like vanilla cupcakes. I would buy again cause I do like it for layering. Maybe my lips are just to pigmented for it to really pop.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Hard as Wraps - Acrylic Gel
rated 1 of 5
wendycoco 4/21/2013 11:19:00 PM

I purchased this is the blue bottle. Worst stuff I have ever used, after 8 hours with this on my nails I'm still tacky and my polish looks like crap. I got this at shoppers drugmart on sale for $6.99. What a waste of money and time cause now I have to redo my nails. Also my nails in no way feel hard as wraps. Every time I try something new from Sally Hansen I'm utterly disappointed. Especially when it comes to the top coats or strengtheners.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Xtreme Wear - All Colors
rated 5 of 5
wendycoco 4/21/2013 11:09:00 PM

UPDATE: I BOUGHT 3 MORE COLOURS CAUSE I LOVE THIS NAIL POLISH SO MUCH!! I purchased the colours Violet and Bubble gum pink (bubble gum pink is almost identical to maybelline color shows pink chiffon) they were on clearance at Walmart for $2.77. Shoppers drugmart sells this like for around $4.50, im not sure how much they go for regularly at Walmart. But either way still inexpensive. I'm quite happy with them unlike most Sally Hansen products that I find extremely disappointing. The colours are very pigmented and have great shine. They do take somtime to dry but the end result is worth it. Plus they do last which is nice cause I have huge issues with nail polish. Even the most expensive ones chip on me within a day or two. So happy to have bought these.

Concealers -Rimmel - Wake Me Up Concealer
rated 3 of 5
wendycoco 4/21/2013 11:01:00 PM

Skin tone nw 15 to nw 20. Normal to oily. I bought this because it was on sale at Shoppers Drugmart for $4.99. I ran out of my usual maybelline instant age rewind eraser. I purchased this in fair light and to be quite honest it's not that light at all. This product is ok, easy to apply coverage is good. Formula seems to be really thick so you got to blend right away. It does have a slight glitter to it I'm guessing this is what's suppose to give the "wide awake" look. But the glitter really isn't to obvious on the skin. Does it make me look bright eyed and fully awake? No not really. I put I would repurchase but only if its on sale cause coverage is good. It's certainly not worth it's regular $7 to $9 price tag. This also may work better for drier skins. Ill be sticking with my maybelline age rewind once I'm done with this tube.

Primer/ Corrector -Revlon - PhotoReady Perfecting Primer (color 001)
rated 4 of 5
wendycoco 4/11/2013 10:41:00 PM

LOVE this primer! Finally a primer I can use! I have normal skin that has a slight tendency to get a little oily. My skin hates moisturizers and primers so I pretty much gave up. Before this the only ones that kinda worked for me was the Rimmel ones. This definitely smoothed my face and softened it. However if by no means made my pores look smaller but my pores don't really bug me anyway. What this also did was made my skin look illuminated but still matte if that makes sense. I use cover girl stay fabulous foundation so I normally don't need to blot during day. I was concerned the primer may make me oily which it did not. So happy with it. Primer looses .5 of a lipstick for the not making pores disappear like its suppose to and .5 of a lipstick cause it's far to pricey for a drugstore brand ($18.95 at shoppers drug mart). If you have oily skin this may work well for you. But for really oily girls I highly highly recommend using milk of magnesia as a primer it will change your life :).

Didn't like this for my skin made me feel greasy and makeup did not sit nicely on it unfortunately. My skin is combination slightly oily but not to much. I think this primer would b best for dry skin.

Blush -Hard Candy - Fox in a Box - Truth or Dare
rated 3 of 5

I'm so sad cause I wanted to love this so bad! It looks amazing in the box and the packaging is adorable. Unfortunately on me it looks way to sparkly. From looking at it in the case I would have never thought it would be like that. This would probably work better on people with dry skin. :) xo
