forget concealer for under the eyes. Studio Lights in Pinked is the best! it doesn't get heavy looking like concealer no matter how much you use and it really brightens up the area! GREAT FIND!

so sad. turns out i'm allergic to the SPF components of MAC's tinted balms. :(
i bought Petting Pink on the 26th and after two days of use, my lips had a rash on them and a few blisters. i just applied it a half hour ago to make sure that its the MAC lip conditioner, and lo and behold my lips started burning.
i really wanted to like these! the regular lip conditioner in the tube is fine for me, but not this stuff.

It's a very sheer warm beige/nude color on me. Combined with Oak liner, this lipstick gives me Paris Hilton lips. I love it!!!!!Great shine, and look, but if my lips are chapped, then this Lustre formulation just looks like a sloppy mess and emphasizes my dry skin... so it only works on days when my lip skin is perfectly exfoliated.

nice because it works well under glosses and lipsticks and because it doesn't cause lipbalm 'addiction' with any menthol type ingredients.
however this product is too watery, too short lasting, and too messily packaged to ever become my HG. I guess my Burts Bees really is the best.

this is my new HG mascara!!! the best ever. i've stopped using ProLongLash and Mascara X since discovering this.
One coat makes my lashes defined and feathery. Two coats makes them defined, feathery, thick and long. I hope MAC never discontinues this!

Eyeliner -MAC - Hot Poppy Eye Kohl

This kohl is awesome. A burnt orange poppy color.
I'm wearing it with bamboom(brown/gold) paint as a base, hot poppy to line, mythology (orangey copper shimmer) e/s from lash to crease, tan pigment in creaes, ricepaper(beige) to highlight.
looks amazing if i do say so myself. i'm so glad i got this.

RAVE for MAC Select Tint from a foundation hater
First off let me say that I don't usually use any foundation other than a touch of Studio Fix NC35. But I was attracted to the idea of a tinted moisturizer with light coverage.
The MA at MAC said I should try NC40 in the Select Tint. I tried it this mornign and its AWESOME!
The coverage is very light, but it evens out my skin so that it looks fresh, awake, and flawless. It doesn't even look like foundation. You can put it on half your face and no one would even notice a "line of demarcation".
It has very very very slight tiny sparkle particles in it. its not really obvious, but just makes my complexion more luminous!
its also very moisturizing.
so can you tell i like it?

i love menthol type smells, so i love the smell of this.
but that's about all the good i can say about this product. it makes my hands feel drier and more chapped, but greasy at the same time. it basically sucks.

This has overtaken Clear, Restrained Rust, Spectra Peach, Lovechild, Prrr, and Reavealing as my all time favorite l/g.
It's a sheer pink with gold shimmer. Looks great w/ or w/o a liner. hooray for summery l/g!!!!

This is now one of my top 5 fave MAC e/s.
It's a sparkly, grass green. Another reviewer said "Brady lawn" and its pretty accurate. Surprising, this color really works for my warm, freckled, NC35 complexion. I've been using it as a liner, with Retrospeck on lid, and sometimes Aquadisiac in the outer corner. It makes my green eyes pop and is really unique.
Of course, I like funky eye makeup looks. This is not really good for a conservative office setting.

I tried this on at the MAC store. It's a shimmery taupe color, but just looked frosty gray on my NC35 warm complexion. It wasn't very flattering.

i just blew out my hair for the first time with this. i mixed it with "Straight works" from paul mitchell.. anyway. i just accomplished the best, silkiest blow out ever. and i have very curly, fine hair. totally amazed

At first, i wasn't sure i liked this. the formula is really thick and the brush is hard and stubby. they say the formula is the same as regular "prolash", but if that's true then boy, the brush makes a huge difference. after getting used to the types of brush strokes required to get a smooth, clumb free application, i've come to LOVE the wicked, thick, long, and dramatic look that this mascara gives. definitely a staple of mine.
