Liquid -Guerlain - Parure Extreme

I really wanted to love this foundation as my beloved foundation was discontinued - Guerlain Fleur de Teint Ultra Mat. I found that the product glided on my face pretty well and the color was kind of close to my skin color but not exactly. (I purchased the product in Beige Naturel 003; used to wear Beige Naturel in Guerlain Fleur de Teint and am an NC30 in MAC.) I found that my face became very oily quickly with this foundation even after setting it with powder (I have very oily, acne prone skin). But I was determined to stick it out because of the product's cost and because of my past satisfaction with Guerlain foundations. I used it for over a month and then noticed that the area between my upper cheeks and the side of my nose on both sides of my face began to devleop lots of acne. The center of my forehead also became a little bumpy with acne. I can only surmise that it was the foundation since my beauty regimen hadn't changed and my skin had been clear before starting the foundation. I stopped using the foundation about two weeks ago but am still going throught the motions of clearing my skin. These areas have become so dry that it's been difficult to get my skin back to normal. I was very disappointed that I did not get the same results with this product as I did with Guerlain's Fleur de Teint.

Foundations -Guerlain - Fleur de Teint Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

I bought the Ultra Mat version as I have extremely oily, acne prone skin. This truly is an excellent foundation. It easily blends into my skin and provides excellent coverage without making my skin look cakey. The foundation is very long lasting and makes my skin look smooth and flawless. I am a NC 30 in MAC and I purchased the product in Beige Naturel. The color blends seamlessly with my skin tone. I didn't give the product 5 lippies because it does not prevent my skin from becoming oily again. However, the foundation does not cake or sit on top of the oil as most products I've used (including MAC). I can blot the oil away and add some powder without ruining or streaking the foundation. The product comes in a very convenient pump which allows you to see how much product you have left. It also has a fairly strong rosy scent but after you apply it to your face, it becomes very faint until you can't smell it anymore. It's a bit on the pricey side - I purchased it for approximately $45 but the price will not prevent me from purchasing this again. The most important thing about this product is that it has NOT made my skin breakout even after a month of use. I've tried natural products such as Bare Escentuals which made me break out, but with this foundation my skin has remained blemish free. I've tried numerous foundations including Clinique Superfit, Prescriptives Custom Blend, Estee Lauder Double Matte, etc., and found that Guerlain Fleur de Teint surpasses them all. I will definitely purchase again.

Primer/ Corrector -English Ideas - Foundation Primer

I just purchased this item and I must say I was quite pleased. Once I applied my foundation (Clinique Superfit) I noticed a definite difference in my skin's appearance. My face looked really smooth and matte. I have very oily skin and it made my skin look flawless. After a couple of hours, I noticed some of the oil from my face peaking through a bit but it was still a lot less oil than if I had not used the primer. It's been almost nine hours since I put my makeup on this morning and my skin looks a little dewey but my foundation hasn't rubbed off and my blush looks like I just put it on. I really like this product although it's too early to tell if it will make me break out.
