I suffer from a horrible dryness above my lip and below my lower lip. It looks like chapped skin, red and sometimes flaky. It's quite unflattering. I tried everything and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING, not because it's expensive means its good, lesson learned. Unsure if it would work I bought the store brand (Wal-Mart) that states compare to Cortizone 10. I paid around $2.22 + tax I have applied it for 2 days and its WORKING!!!! Although it's still dry the redness has been reduced and the chapped look is decreasing. After only 2 nights!

Lips -Sephora - Cream Lip Stain- all shades

I have never worn lipsticks outside the NUDE family, I've been too scared. I tried this new lip stain, not sure on the number or name but its the RED one, don't be scared its a beautiful color once applied and comes to a gorgeous matte finish (I use it with the Sephora waterproof lip liner in Sangria). I wore it to the office scared of the critics, but to my surprise....I got sooo many compliments I ask myself" Why hadn't I done it sooner!" The staying power is great, I usually make my lipsticks disappear without realizing it. This one is a keeper. I will say though that it does transfer onto cups and straws and such...but it will not come off. I did notice after lunch I had to reapply to the inner part of my lip, but it only makes sense, I don't eat lunch through a straw and therefore part of my lip did need touch-up which I don't mind. I don't expect miracles from products I paid $12 + tax and it's the best dollar spent in my opinion. Pros: Great finish (there are satin and glittery finishes too) Staying power Doesn't dry lips like other long wearing products Cons: Not enough Matte finish colors Will need re-apply (I don't mind, others might)

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear

I personally rely on reviews to make a decision on any product. Let me tell you first off my skin type, I have normal skin with an oily T-zone and horrible dryness ONLY on my upper lip area (I think its eczema). This foundation does not make my dryness look horrible, if anything it allows me to hide it, on days when it's extremely bad. Anywho I was introduced to Double-Wear a few years ago and ultimately it's my GO-TO flawless face foundation. I am also a BE girl, but when it comes to coverage DW cannot be beat. It's a beautiful matte finish, which I usually top with any pressed powder. Sometimes MAC, other times BE veil, whatever I feel for that day. I apply by DW with a BE flat top dense brush, similar to ELF. I have used sponges, my hands, an actual foundation brush and this type of flat-top brush is great, and believe me a little goes a very long way. I am known for touchin my face all day long without even noticing, with other makeup before I know it, it looks like I never put anything on before work. Although its not proof to my contact face touching habits, I must say after my 8-10 hour work days I can still manage to leave work feeling presentable and not needing to apply but a minor powder touch-up (mainly due to my t-zone). Pros: Flawless finish Little goes a long way Variety of colors ( I use tawny) Cons: Pricey (but not as other high-end brands that do not do 1/2 the job)
