I was send Cedre by mistake by a online store, I order Feminite de bois and they send Cedre, Cedre costing more on the website I decide to open the box and try it anyway, fully aware I couln't returned if it was open, and boy was I happy of that mistake. Cedre is a really nice unisexe perfume I could se a man as well as of a woman wearing it. I do smell wood and dried fruit ... it kind of remind me of a mixer of Magie Noir the Lancome and Black orchid of Tom Ford weird in a good way in my case. It is warmer when it dry down with the spice taking more center stage. I can understand the hate it or love it feeling, it is not a "nice" scent, it's has a personnality and an attitude, and a good longevity

Fragrances -Serge Lutens - Un Bois Vanille

I'm a fan of Serge Lutens, so my review might be biais! What I love the most about this perfume is the opening, cedar, warm wood is the first top note, this is kind of rare because usually it is a note you find in the dry down of perfume, and I love cedar! so right from the get go it just make me happy! And then it dry down to a sweet vanilla no surprise here as it says bois Vanille. I'm not that good with smell and all the note my nose can pick up but it is a nice all year round perfume with close to the body sillage and medium longevity.

Eye Shadow -Jouer - Jouer Cosmetics Cream Eyeshadow-Organza

I read a great review on a blog (won't say which because her review was quite good and mine isn't!) and Jouer were having a Friends and Family sale with 20% so I told myself it was the time to try something new. The colour is ok, a nice taupe, goes sheer on the lid cannot really build it up, it have a nice shimmer. But the big missed is the longevity, I have cream eyeshadows from Maybelline (Tattoo) Benefits, Shiseido and Chanel. The only eyeshadows i needed to add some powder to help them stay were the chanel but they still look good after a 6-7hrs. With Jouer after 1hr I could see some creasing! and almost nothing after 3-4hrs. this is bad event in some eyeshadows on top and primer! not worth the money, you can have better cream eyeshadows for cheaper ....

Blush -MAC - Prom Princess

Prom princess is a nice berry blush, it is really pigmented I usually used a fan brush on this one and barely touch the skin to add colour to the cheeks. This blush will last forever!

I like pink tea it is a bright yellow tone pink, great for warm tone, it does create a nice flush look. This pink goes with everything and easy to wear.

I like this blush, it is light, peachy-coral, not sure you can go overboard with this one, I do think it is easily dupeable, Chanel Espiegle is maybe a little more orange but once one applied they have a similar effect, i'm NC25.

Lipstick -MAC - Strong Woman

Another great dark purple lipstick from MAC. If you have to chose Heroine vs Strong Woman, I personally prefer Heroine. Strong woman have more red-plum in it and can make lips look smaller and make you look older (I'm NC25). Again not a every day kind of lipstick, but worth to pick up because it is a shade that we rarely see in other makeup brand.

Lipstick -MAC - Party Parrot

It is a good matt lipstick from mac, on me it is more a coral then a red on my lips. It is bright and on my very warm NC25 skin and pigmented lips, I need to work hard for this lipstick to look good (that why the 2 lippies), it is bright and wish it could be a tad darker to work with my skin tone. Great color for summer thought!

Lipstick -MAC - Heroine (Reel Sexy collection)

It is a nice deep purple, the pigmentation is really good, staying power awesome, not drying. Only gave 3 lippies because it is not a shade I'm wearing all the time, it is very out there and can be scary for some people. The best thing is even warm complexion can pull this one. I'm NC25 and everytime i'm wearing this lipstick people love it and ask what is the shade.

it is more 2.5 rating, it is an ok Rose fragrance, perfect for those who do not like to wear perfume or have to go to the doctor's clinic and really want to wear perfume but do not want to bother anyone. the lasting power is short and the smell linear.

Highlighters -TheBalm - Mary-Lou Manizer

I have a LOT of highlighter, Guerlain, MAC, Smashbox, hourglass, NARS etc, and strangely I always come back to Mary-Lou Manizer, it's soft, have a nice shimmer, with a golden undertone. what's not to love.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Alien Les Parfums de Cuir

first off Thierry Mugler perfume bottles are tacky, there I said it, I much prefer a minimalist bottle then this grenade-star that Thierry seems to love. As for the perfume, I do not like Angel and was ambivalent to Alien (original) but when he came up with the leather collections I wanted to buy them all. Alien is my favorite, rich,warm and creamy. I love leather sent and orientals, Alien really fit the bills with a touch of white flower but dissolve after at the dried down and then come the dried fruits, amber and the leather. It is a more for winter and it can be overpowering for people who prefer those fruity-florals you see so much now in department stores.

Lipstick -Shiseido - Perfect Rouge - RS701 Serenity

Shiseido lipstick deserved more love, we just do not here about them and that a shame!! Amazing formula, moisturizing, glide easily, no weird scents, I like the sleek packaging, not too expensive comparing to Guerlain are other high end brand. 701 is a pinky-beige with a hint of mauve on my lips, it is a great color for smokey eyes and a mod look.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - COLOR TATTOO barely beige

this color is a great base for the eyes,with a little shimmer it is a great color just to look wake up without having to much makeup on (5 minutes face). I prefer the texture of barely beige then the permanent line which are harder and stiffer. it goes smoothly and blend well (but you need to be fast!)

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo rich mahogany

great brown with a hint of burgundy, love combining this color with gold or bronze eyeshadows, I like the formula and it is right there with similar product offer by luxury brand like benefits and Shiseido. I think there are so versatile, and long lasting. Love it and prefer those for color from the limited edition Fall 2012 then the permanent collection.
