This is another scent that is just too massively popular for me to purchase because it seems EVERYONE knows it. It is really sexy, enveloping, edible, mysterious, addictive, and gorgeous though! I wish it were a secret because I'd DEFINITELY purchase if it were less popular.

This scent is absolutely gorgeous, sensual, sophisticated, and mysterious- everything that I would love to be (and hope that I am ) as a woman. It truly awakens a sense of passion when I spray it, and definitely makes me confident to go out and take on the night. :) Absolutely perfect. I use it mainly as an evening scent, the holidays, and special occasions. It's been a fragrance that I've gone back to over the years because not many scents smell as wonderful as this.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I love this foundation and how it blends into my skin so beautifully. This layered with Make Up Forever's HD powder make my face appear flawless. The problem is that it doesn't last long. :( :( I will still repurchase.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Falling in Love

This is a beautiful, romantic, sweet fragrance that definitely makes me feel lovely, feminine, and happy. :) It is very simple and a pick me up. The problem that it lasts about two hours. If this lasted longer then it would become an HG for me.

I have never been able to allow myself to buy this fragrance because it is just massively popular. I feel every other woman wears this!!! I've sprayed it on my wrist a few times while wandering through Sephora and it's very pretty, feminine, sugary, sweet and cotton candy like, as many have mentioned. I don't typically like to put an age on a fragrance but it smells like a teen-age scent- perhaps a girl's first perfume. I think it's pretty for daytime wear or summer but will not be buying it.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals in 1.2, fairly light

I've been using this foundation for years. Sigh. Sometimes it is wonderful- depending on how my skin is that particular day. If I am flaking or breaking out the stuff clings horribly and actually gets a bit clumpy! :( The other downside is that is DOES get messy (as with all mineral makeup) and is forming a film in my car (my fault for attempting to apply it in there). The key to this foundation is having nice smooth skin (great if well exfoliated) and using a very small amount. It won't aggravate your skin and provides great sun protection. You also must keep the kabuki brush in good condition or it will affect the application of this makeup.

Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Peppermint Castille Soap

I really love Dr. Bronner's. This soap is brilliant, invigorating, refreshing, and makes you extremely clean. It also lathers well with a loofah and doesn't dry out your skin. I'm an esthetician and think this is by far one of the best soaps out there.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Cream with Olive Oil

I LOVE this glossing cream. It gives my long hair such brilliance with such a tiny amount and on top of that it makes it conditioned, healthy, and frizz-free without weighing it down. It is pricey but just a tiny amount of product will do the trick. It also gives it some hold. I love to braid my hair after applying this cream and by evening I have gorgeous, gleaming waves with no frizz a la giselle.. yay! I try different hair products frequently but absolutely NONE can add up to this one. I'm in love with it. :)

Scrubs -Fresh - Brown Sugar Body Polish

I wasn't impressed with this body scrub- especially after all of the hype. It seemed to be a lot more oil than granules and I like scrubs that really SCRUB. The oils and sugar make you soft but the goal is to get rid of the dead skin... with this scrub I almost felt as though I was ADDING to the dead skin. The smell is wonderful and it certainly feels luxurious but other than that I wouldn't recommend it for people that want to feel smooth from exfoliation.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

I like this mascara. It definitely give me very full thick, beautiful lashes. This mascara isn't perfect however. The mascara in the tube actually dries pretty quickly only after a few times of applying which then makes it completely useless. Applying a dry formula (which is why I wouldn't recommend waterproof mascara to anyone) only dries out your lashes causing them to break. It basically takes me only 2 weeks to go through this pricey mascara not only because of it drying but because there just doesn't seem to be enough in the tube either. Other then those drawbacks the volume and length Dior Show delivers is unbeatable in my opinion and I have tested and tried hundreds of mascaras. This is definitely a favorite.

I have been loyally wearing Laila as one of my signature scents for four years. A slightly older, well traveled and sophisticated ex bf had introduced me to the scent by purchasing it for me claiming that it was the most amazing fragrance for women he'd ever smelled. I fell head over heels in love with Laila and will never grow tired of it. Lalia is simply gorgeous. Fresh, floral, watery, elegant, clean, soft, refreshing, alluring, unique and feminine. It truly is like a blend of blossoming wildflowers, the sea, fjords, snow and fresh mountain air which is what I would anticipate being surrounded by in Norway which is a country with unmatched beauty and a uniqueness all its own.

This was my scent for a good 6 months when I first moved out west. It reminds me of LA because that's where I spent most of my time then. It's sweet, maybe musky, fruity, and very uplifting. It's a great scent to wake you up either to start the day or begin the night. :) When I smell it now it brings a random variety of thoughts to my head. Excitement, youth, southern california, sensuality, early mornings, carnivals, vitality, third street promenade, the song "Strawberry Fields Forever", and summer.

When I wore this last year I received many compliments. It's sweet, girley, and very sexy in an innocent, naive sort of way. If I were to envision a princess in a beautiful fairytale filled with castles, white horses, mystical forests, and handsome suiters this is exactly what she would smell like. I love it but almost feel like I should've worn it in my teens rather than now. We'll see if I ever end up buying another bottle. I have missed it and it's vanilla sweetness. It doesn't have the best staying power but that can sometimes be a good thing because it would never come on too strong. Edited to say that I DID repurchase!

J'adore really is a perfect name for this scent. It is elegant, fresh, feminine, sensual, and quite addicting. The first time I was introduced to this fragrance I was 18 or 19 in Manhatten visiting a friend and staying in her older sisters' apartment. Her sister had given me the impression of someone with an exciting, sophisticated, fufilling life in a world class city which had been a dream of mine as long as I could remember. After our hair & makeup was perfected, and our outfits were on, she raved about her fragrance "J'adore" and sprized us all before our big night.... the finishing touch to the art of "getting ready." J'adore filled the room with it's feminine radiance and I felt high off of the city lights, the energy of the night, the fantastic buzz that belongs to NYC alone, and the dazzling "J'adore" which made a lasting impression on me. I purchased the fragrance shortly after moving to San Francisco and it has now become one of my signature scents. I get endless amounts of compliments and men absolutely flip for it. It works for day or night and makes me feel vibrant and alive. Highly recommended.
